Every song on this album is just straight up ridiculous. 10/10 no skips it’s incredible, IGOR’S THEME is definitely my favourite on the album but I wouldn’t say my favourite Tyler song. For me my favourite would be SWEET / THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE from Cmyigl.

I’m a videographer, and once, for a hip-hop nightclub, I created a visual experience wich would they presented to indicate that it was now prime time. At midnight, the lights would dim, and the music would stop. Then, the howling bass of IGORS THEME would start, and I created visuals that would be played on the massive screens around the club when the beat dropped. I’m pretty sure the mainstream audience didn’t know the song, but the song hit so hard that they used the Show every Saturday for a whole year. I gotta upload that one man. Igor will forever be a special album to me. It dropped at a very transitional time in my life and I just remember the first listen blowing me away. Just moved into my first apartment, listening on my laptop with no furniture lol its legacy was cemeted there and it just so happened to slap as well so that helps haha
Gone, Gone/ Thank You.. used to be my least favorite song when I first started listening to Tyler now it is actually my 3rd favorite out of all of Tyler's discography

Production is so good on this album I genuinely cried was listening to igor in my room at 3:00 AM with tears running down my face as I process the beautiful production and story Tyler tells throughout the album if perfect exists Igor Is perfect 10/10 album
So the Igor album is about a character named Igor who's in love with his guy. Best friend and his friend is somewhat in love with him but can't openly show it on top of having a back and forth with his ex-girlfriend and Tyler's character. Igor is always feeling like the third wheel is starting to openly confess his jealousy and rage towards his love interest
ur right but its def not crazy to call this like a top 20 or top 25 album of all time, especially after a few more years ppl will look back and realise just how much of a masterpiece igor is and start giving it the respect it deserves 💯
I’m surprised no one has mentioned it, but I’d love to hear your guys thoughts on chance the rapper Acid Rap and Coloring Book. I think the music he’s been putting out has been a good reminder that he’s actually a great artist and that The big day album never happened lol.
I wasn't so much into music, but when I was in college my friend recommended me Tyler. IGOR was the first ever album I've ever listened to, and im happy it was.
This album is beautiful because at first I didn’t like all the songs. For example Puppet A boy is a gun and I don’t love you anymore but as I listened to the whole album again and again it’s kinda like an acquired taste and now they’re some of my favorites on that album now
If you want a different artist to listen to thats quite unique. Tame Impala's entire discography offers a different stance on music. Id advise starting with "Currents" if you do!

Love this album. Literally the only negative thing I can say is that a few songs have cracks and pops baked in as part of the mix so if you listen to it on vinyl for the first time it might have you running to Discogs to find out if your pressing is bad. That's not really much of a complain more a PSA haha. If you all check out Tyler again I'd do Flower Boy next as it's a good bridge between the style of IGOR and the more rap mixtape style of CMIYGL. I'd actually include the Estate Sale with the latter since it's so good but wouldn't blame ya'll if you split that into it's own video. Already looking forward to the reaction the the DJ Drama parts.
