I lost my 7 year old sheltie in June...I understand your loss...I am sorry! I miss him so much! You do the best you can and thank God for choosing you to love them! There is no a great long term success for turned stomach...it tends to reoccur. Blood in stool can also be caused by eating something that upsets the stomach, then as clearing from the body strain can cause blood. Not much blood but enough to notice.
I'm so sorry for your loss. From the sound of it the vet was lazy, pure and simple, I hope many people see this video and steer clear of him. Your furbaby is now in good health after crossing the Rainbow Bridge, he knows you did everything for him.
Oh my gosh I’m sobbing hearing about the loss of your beautiful dog.I have two English golden retrievers who are my whole world. One is a senior girl and seems quite happy other than some bouts with arthritis occasionally.I can’t even imagine her not here . I have so much anxiety just thinking of when she won’t be by my side one day so my heart totally goes out to your family for such a heartfelt loss.I hope the new puppies will bless you with Sammy’s sweet spirit to comfort you all in this painful journey.🙏🏻🩷🌞
I'm the proud mama of an 11yr old Pomeranian/Chihuahua who is my heart. She seems to be healthy except for 2 lumps on her chest. One is soft and size of a golf ball. The other is now the size of a size of a grapefruit and firm . Vet has pulled out fluid from each and says they are lipomas. But I'm scared
I’m so sorry for your loss. My 5 year old beagle mix was recently diagnosed with nasal sarcoma and was devastated with the news. He was overall healthy and the cancer had not spread so I decided to proceed with radiation treatments despite just being laid off work and I’m happy to say he’s doing well. All the doctors and staff at UPenn were fabulous and treated him with loving care. Yes it was expensive and I’ll be in debt for a very long time but just wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I can understand your situation and agree he probably wouldn’t have made it through surgery so I think you did the right thing. Prayers for you and your family.
We had a Great Pyrenees for Fifteen years. The most loyal, loving dog We ever had. We loved Thomas, he was part of our family. He loved being outside even though he had his own building equipped with beds, heat for winter and fans for summer. He would even stay out in a thunderstorm even though he had a nice dry place to stay. We had goats and chickens etc. He was always watching over them, he was their protector. He loved our children and all the neighbors children, he would run and play chase with them and fetch the ball and lay around the grass with them while they visited. Somehow, he broke his back during a thunderstorm one night. We took him to the vet. At fifteen years of age the Vet said he had lived past most in his breed, and there was not much hope of fixing his back and suggested We let him go. It broke our hearts but We knew he was really suffering. We spent some sweet time with him for the last time and hugged him goodbye and held him speaking softly to him as he gently closed his eyes and left this world to cross the rainbow bridge. I think of him everyday when I go out to the garden, as he always greeted me at the back door. He was a gentle giant and We loved him dearly. We still miss him everyday.
I'm so sorry for your loss. You're right, it would have been too late. You did the right thing. Shame on that vet! It's all about the money these days with veterinarians. I've seen it, too. I'm glad you ultimately got the answers you needed.
I’m so very sorry. Losing a pet is heartbreaking. It’s especially difficult when you’re also losing a member of your work force. He seems like he was a wonderful dog. He reminds me of our Newfie/ Pyrenees cross. Just a big loveable teddy bear! You’re so fortunate to have all the footage of him! Hugs to you all. ❤
I have just found your channel, and I'm so,so sad for you to have lost your stunning Sammie. It's never easy to say goodbye 👋 to your bestie like that. We have had our sad moments, too 😢, over time. It takes so long to get over the heartache . The arrival of a litter of puppies will help so much. Especially as he was their father. Sending love ❤️ and hugs 🫂 to you and your family. ❤💛💗
Please don't beat yourself up. It's obvious that you loved him and tried everything you could do. It's so hard to go through things like this. You have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers for you and your family to find peace and comfort each other with the knowledge you gave him a good life and lots of love.
@Norunormii that's a pretty harsh & broad statement. My daughter is a veterinarian & I assure you she loves all animals, that's why she has done the long hard work in medical school. She works very long, hard hours. Every day she deals with the highs of saving animals & the lows of losing some to disease, old age & tragedies. Its a very tough, emotional job, something most people couldn't handle day in & day out. You said that vets don't give a crap about the animals but I assure you in many cases its the other way around. This doesn't apply to this family in the video but you wouldn't believe the mistreatment of animals by pet owners that my daughter has seen. Emergency vet care is known to be very costly, just as emergency medicine is very costly compared to going to a primary care doctor for people. It costs a lot of money for medical vet school, the overhead costs of running a vet clinic, medical equipment, supplies, staff pay, it all adds up. This loss was very sad for this family as it is for anyone that loses a pet. Maybe that veterinarian already worked a 6 or 7 day work week, we don't know. As I said my daughter ends up working very long hours due to emergencies, surgeries & appointments being worked in. Most people with regular non stressful jobs don't want to work 6 or 7 days a week so we shouldn't expect that from veterinarians. Most of them already work overtime. We don't know all the information to make assumptions about people we don't even know. I wish people wouldn't be so quick to judge others because when they do they are usually wrong. We used a veterinarian for 30 years & he was amazing. My daughter has become a wonderful veterinarian & in both cases they have cared about every animal they have treated. Its unfortunate this family lost their sweet dog, but that doesn't make all veterinarians bad. I say all of this in hopes you might reconsider your thoughts on veterinarians. I wish you well. 🙂
@@LauraE.9897 It costs 600 just to have a vet step foot on my farm. Explain where this cost comes from? This is taking advantage of peoplea emotions to their animals. Vets are as bad as chiropractors or dentists.
@@LauraE.9897 My vet worked 7 days a week. I would even go to her home to pick up meds in emergency situations. There was no excuse worthy from this vet in this post.
This was incredibly sad choked me up. I’m sorry you lost your friend he was a goofball I can tell he was special. I am so upset with what vets change it makes it impossible to treat an emergency . I know that you really loved him
I have never seen your channel until I saw this video pop up. I have to say, I cried along with you! I just had to put my 12 yo dog to sleep 3 days ago. The pain is real! I've been depressed all week. I had a dog a long time ago that looked just like Sammy. He was my favorite dog, so it brought back a lot of memories of him. I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP beautiful Sammy!
I'm sorry for your loss. I had a newfoundland that this happened to. My vet told me to have a food bowl off the ground so it's almost head height to prevent it from happening again. Again, I'm sorry for the loss of Sammy.🐾💙
🐶 Newbie to your channel…I am truly amazed at the strength and conviction you and hubby have shared taking on the responsibility of autopsying your beloved Sammy so as to verify cause of his sudden loss of life. Shame on those emergency vet offices as I once had resorted to such. They are extremely overpriced and in my humble opinion are more concerned with the mighty dollar then the human compassion of saving one’s beloved fur baby based on an individual’s ability to pay such outlandish fees. I’m humbled over your ability to have performed what truly had to have been a most heart wrenching task. Again I pray Sammy’s puppies will bring forth renewed hope.
I know it's been 9 days and I just watched your video My condolences to you and your family I truly know how u feel Prayers for your family Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
I'm so sorry for your loss,n I'm sorry for my earlier comments but at the time I didn't know how far vets were and it was Saturday. Sammy was a beautiful dog. RIP Sammy
This was sad to watch. So sorry about Sammy. Sorry for your loss. What a beautiful dog. Such a cutie. He's going to have beautiful puppies and have his attitude. Animals hide their pain til its too late. Sending love and prayers to you and your family. From AZ
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Great Pyrenees 3 weeks ago on a Sunday, twisted stomach. I am still crying, but my boy Max is worth every tear as I'm sure your boy is too
I do believe you were correct in that it was already too late by the time you found him. You only have about an hour give or take after it happens to get treatment before irreversible damage occurs. My mastihound had that happen to him. I realized it right at that point. I was dialing my vet as I was loading him in my car. I got there in 45 minutes. They rushed him to surgery and he was about 10 minutes from needing a blood transfusion. My surgery only cost 4200. I think 8000 is highway robbery. I'm so sorry for your loss. Pyrenees are such good dogs. My heart goes out to you and your family. ❤
Ma'am...I'm almost 60...my mom raised us with lots of animals...cats dogs chickens goats rats ducks hamsters birds...I've lost a lot of pets over my life..I miss them all...some more than others but all of them just the same...all you can do is appreciate the affection and appreciation of your companionship and try and remember the joy they brought you. Animals who have felt the real love of a human give back so much more than they are given..you'll feel each loss as the family member that they were...savor the present..sorry for your loss...God bless
First and foremost, I’m so sorry for your loss. You tried your best to help your dog. Rest in that 💜.. one thing you should know though, is when your dog is I’ll, there blood pressure drops so you must keep them warm. That’s something you don’t know so please don’t blame yourself. You did your best. I’m sure Sammy knew you loved him. Vets are so expensive. Sometimes we have to make the tough decision to euthanize them for there comfort. Another thing is not to let them run around after a meal. That causes twisted stomach. Thank you for those beautiful videos. He is free 💙 no more pain
My heart is absolutely shattered for you. Our first dog, Tasha, had a flopped stomach and we could not afford the surgery. We were devastated. I know what it's like to lose a member of the family.
I had an autopsy done on a horse and it was facilitated by the county animal shelter and the ag extension office. I bypassed the vet entirely. The county secured the vet. So sorry for your loss. I have working dogs on my farm. They are my right hand. Praying for peace for you
Sorry for your loss. In the future please, please get a vet consult and pain relief as the bare minimum with any animal who looks as sick as he did. Beautiful boy - rest in peace
I am so, so sorry. Words just don't make the pain better. He was a beautiful & smart soul. He will always be around you and the Rainbow Bridge. I still talk to my Ginger. I do because the morning after she passed, I was crying and trying to drink my coffee when I heard her bark... it was the one for going outside. People say I have lost it, but ya know... it made me feel better, and now my tears for her don't hurt so bad. I hope the days are getting better for you and your family soon.
I’m so sorry for your loss. They’re not just pets, they’re family. It’s so sad what happened to your baby. Prayers for you in the days and weeks ahead.💙🐶💙🙏🏼
Are pets are not just animals. . . . they are our friends, our loved ones, our family memebers, our sons, our daughters! And it hurts so incredibly bad when we unfortunately lose them! So sorry for your loss! I lost my dog May 2nd of this year & it hurts so bad still! Praise God I still have my kitties! Keep your dog Sammy alive in your memories & your heart👍🏻
Awww Bless His heart ~ he crossed over the rainbow bridge… I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s heartbreaking. May God comfort and strengthen you through these difficult times🙏🏽👱🏻♀️🐾🐾🌹
I agree it would probably not have saved him with surgery. He looked far down when u found him. I am sorry for your loss. He looked like he knew u were there to comfort him. Animals know.
I'm so sorry for your loss and the way you were treated. You did everything you could to save him with the knowledge that you had at the time. Your Sammy knew he was loved very dearly and I pray your family heals from this tragedy.
I really respect you, your husband, and your children. If I were facing the same hard decisions, I hope I would have made exactly the same choices that you did. God bless you all in your time of grieving and loss, and I know when the puppies arrive it will be very healing for everyone. You made a very special video, that other people should see and learn from, thank you. ❤🔥What a brave and special dog you are Sammy, thank you for being a teacher as well. ❤✨
🐾 😢 I know the horrific pain of losing one’s fur baby. My heart aches for you as you share Sammy’s story. I pray that his offspring bring you comfort and eventually renewed joy.
Good for you for naming the vet so others can choose a GOOD vet. Sometimes a local university that has a vet school will do a necropsy much cheaper. So sorry for your loss. I have lost 12 dogs, several cats, 3 horses and a pony over the decades. Loved them all. Believe we will meet all our beloved pets in heaven. Look for the valley that has a sign that says 'Watch where you step'. We will all be there.
I’m praying for you and your family in this time of need. Please God give this family peace and comfort in their hurting and mourning. This is absolutely horrific and so sad about the vet not wanting to help because he just didn’t want to.
I so feel your pain! I lost my chocolate lab to a twisted stomach in 2014. I spent $1200 to have him diagnosed. The surgery at that time was $2500 in addition to the money I had already spent. He lasted 3 days before I put him down. His last day was horrible and I couldn’t watch him suffer anymore! He had a full blown seizure/stroke. Heart wrenching to go through! I had a friend of the family who provided a resting place. Even today, over 10 years later it still hurts. Hate to see anyone have to go through the pain/trauma that I went through. May your puppy RIP.😎
Im sorry for your loss. My sisters dog had the same symptoms and her dog ate a poisoned rat and got secondary poisoning. He also had blood coming out both ends and his necropsy confirmed a secondarry poisoning.
Losing a family pet in this manner is tragic for everyone! Never feel guilty for not being able to pay those exorbitant prices for our pets. He had a wonderful life with your family and was loved. The puppies coming soon will ease the pain and the children will remember him through them too! All the best!
I once owned a pyr as a pet; she lived many years; even tho she wasn't a LGD... her genes were good; but your story brought back the love and bond I had with her, I cried and wailed when I had to let her go... your tears made me think of "Morgan".
We just lost our 5 year old Border Collie to gall bladder and kidney cancer! He was sick for two days and was going into shock when we went to the ER Vets! $3,000 later we relieved him of his pain instead of putting him through anymore torture! He was rescued from a puppy mill 4 years ago! He had been treated horribly! He loved having a home and a yard and sisters! Two sisters passed and we adopted him a little brother to play with! They'd play for hours! He was so kind and he would go from room to room to lay in his special spots! We were honored to adopt him and wanted more time with him! He was a kind, quiet, shy and very well behaved boy! His foster mom said he was an angel!
I'm so sorry this is heartbreaking. My big boy, Hooch died from a twisted stomach. He was a Great Dane lab mix and was 10 years old. When I took him to the vet at 5:30AM, he told me he would need surgery. Like you he told me it would be around 5 grand but he wouldn't do the surgery, I would have had to take him to a specialist 50 miles away. I was 68 year old widow and don't drive out of town. I made the decision to go ahead and have him euthanized. It's was a very hard decision but he was in so much pain. Sorry for your loss, Prayers
Your dog was poisoned. Rat poison causes extreme bleeding and basically, any animal who ingests it bleeds to death. If not treated, the kidneys, liver, and heart can be affected but I don't know for sure if it would cause breakdown of the organs, which is what it sounds like was happening to Sammy. You said he was barking earlier on the day he was found near the fence. Could someone have come by and given him something laced with the poison? Has there been any other families who have had dogs or cats die recently under similar circumstances? Have you had issues with anyone concerning your dogs? I had a dog who went in to be spayed and as she was coming out of aneathesia, starting hemorrhaging from her mouth and nose. It was determined she had been rat poisoned,. We didn't know how but because she was used to running around (she had been a stray before I got her and I had her for about a month before this happened), the vet said she could have gotten into some trash that had it in it. I spent the next 30 days nursing her and making sure she got her daily vitamin k - which is the only treatment and can be expensive. If we had not caught it when we did (she got it in her within 24 hours of surgery), there would have been nothing we could do. I am so very sorry for your family's loss of Sammy. He looked like he was a very much loved teddy bear! I hope you find out for sure what happened to him and take the appropriate actions so you , or any other family - doesn't go through this again!
I was wondering the same idea of your dog being hit or kicked. He would be super protective of your children and other animals. Could have been in a fight to protect the farm.
I own two greyhounds and their bowls are raised off the ground. I also never feed them straight after a walk and also keep them quiet for at least an hour after eating.
I'm so sorry for your loss. We just lost our Pomeranian three weeks ago and we miss him so much. My husband told me he watched a video about how to put a dog with twisted stomach on his back and shake him back and forth. The man in the video watched the vet do it. Sammy is in paradise now in a better place. Prayers 🙏
My Wife and I are heart sick over your loss. You'll grieve for a long time. We cry every time ( daily ) over our losses. Sammy will be sorely missed. 😢
I feel your pain sister. I had the love of my life furbaby die horribly. It’s been two years and it still hurts just as bad. It’s nothing like the loss of animals you raise for food. Big hugs to you and your family and take the time you need to morn him.
You are correct in that by the time he was passing blood, it was too late. A twisted stomach is a dire emergency. When I worked at the veterinary facility I was at, a twisted stomach was emergency surgery. Even if the vet was seeing patients, the dog would be prepped immediately for surgery and the vet would have us tell the clients we had an emergency so they could either wait or reschedule their appointment. The surgery would be done right then because the window of time for these cases was very narrow.
@@TheCrazyFarmWifeyou could check with your regular vet about a gastroplexy for any other dogs you have that are prone to GDV (twisted stomach). This surgery tacks the stomach to the abdominal wall to prevent its ability to flip. I do not know how much the procedure costs these days so it may or may not be a route you could look into. Feeding small amounts several times a day also helps. Be careful also of feeding soon after strenuous exercise. In addition to smaller feedings it is also good to use a bowl designed to make the dog eat slower or you can get some large clean stones (should be tennis ball size stones). Placing 3 to 4 in the food bowl before adding the kibble so the dog has to eat in between the stones is another way of doing it. These are good practices with large breeds who are prone to GDV. One last caution is if a dog is eating kibble, it should not be allowed to drink a lot of water immediately after. The water can cause the food to swell in the stomach and act just like if the dog were to have eaten a large meal which could cause the stomach to twist. Sorry for your loss. I hope you have better luck with your other dogs.
I am so, so for your loss. He was a handsome boy. He would have been the best dad to his puppies. May he R.I.P. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to be in Heaven.
I'm so sorry to hear of this loss. I'm sure your right when you say that it was too late to get help. The pale gums suggest internal bleeding. My thought go out to you.❤❤
My heartfelt condolences. Run free in the beautiful fields of heaven sweet Sammy. 🌈🐕💙 When Sammy got to heaven he asked god if he was a good boy. God replied no you were the BEST boy. 💙
$8000 is hi-way robbery you did what you could and did no wrong. Your hearts will feel this loss forever and time will help you cope with the pain and remember the joy more often that Sammy brought to your lives.
Bless your heart sweety. I'm praying for your family. And all your critters. My vet told me to bring the feed bowl off the ground and somehow get it lifted. We tied the dog bowls up onto the fence. So now the feed bowls are off the ground. We lost a wonderful dog because of twisted stomach. Great White.😢
My condolences on your loss. I can’t even think of losing my beloved kitty. It brings tears to my eyes. I saw he was a good, loving dog. You were blessed to have had him.
I'm sorry I couldn't watch after you mentioned the vet costs. Traģically the USA costs are astronomically high. Every pet owner needs to put money aside for emermencies. I could easily see your lovely pet was seriously wrong.😢 I'm in the UK I had to rush one of my cats to the Vet Surgery only on Thursday . He was dragging his back legs. The Vet thought it was a blood clot in his lower spine. Just heartbreaking tò make the decision to say goodbye. Just heartbreaking to lose one we love, human or pet. He had only been for his annual check, flu booster etc. Excellent check-up. He was 16yrs but was so healthy . Hope in time you can get over this tragedy. I know how difficult this is. Big hug.
So very sorry for your loss, that's such a shock when something like that happens. I decided to have both of my greyhounds insured and I've never regreted doing it. They put the vet bills up by 30% two years ago and it's so expensive now. I'm a Brit living in Germany
Im so, so sorry for the loss of your beautiful fur baby. He has been such a beautiful part of your families life and all of us that watch and love seeing the love and care you dedicate to your sweet animals. I lost my precious fur baby to a twisted stomach. She got so sick, so fast. I rushed her to the vet and my vet misdiagnosed her. The vet didn't take x-rays or anything but gave her a steroid shot. She was bloated and was running a high fever. The vet said he wasn't sure what was going on, but said he knew it wasn't serious. He said to take her home, give her a bath every hour until her fever came down and she would be fine. My fur baby passed within an hour of bringing her home. She had a twisted stomach and I was in so much grief, I called my vet and told him I would never, ever bring another animal to his office. I was so disgusted with this vet and 7 yrs later, I still am. I have never took my animals to him, nor ever will. He did do an autopsy and only charged me $100.00. The only reason he cared then and did what he did was he was afraid I would sue him. I wish now I would of. I still cry knowing how much pain my baby was in when I took her to the vet. The vet didn't even care to make sure she was okay before he told me she was fine and take her home and she would be fine. Well she wasnt fine! My heart is with you and I know how painful this truly is. I will be praying for you, my dear, and your family. 🙏 This brings back so many memories. Vets don't care anymore about an animal unless the owner is very well to do and spends thousands on their pets for non medical things. It's like the vets only cater to the rich now. It makes me so mad. My origal vet didn't treat people nor pets like this. When he passed, my animals no longer received the care and dignity they had always received. I miss my original vet so much and my little doxie that I know he would of saved. 😢
Always take to a vet dont give any medication and if you don't know what it is, and if they may require surgery, give nothing to eat or drink. I'm sorry sorry for your loss of Sammy. May he RIP, and may God have met him at the pearly gates and welcomed him home. I think by keeping the puppies you will still have Sammy around and help raise his babies after all he is an angel. 26:2126:2226:23
It's hard for some people to comprehend the decisions large dog owners have to make and should not pass judgement. I grieve with you and for you. God Bless you and your family both two legged and 4 legged. Good luck on the puppies when they arrive. Much love and prayers for you all.
I'm so sorry. I lost my GSD to a twisted stomach. She ate then it twisted. Like in 30 min. I got her to the vet. But he wanted like 1500.00 and he couldn't guarantee it would work. Plus she was 10yrs. Old. It was awful. My heart breaks for you. 💔💔💔😭😭😭

Anytime a large dog eats or drinks a lot at one time puts them at risk for bloat. And yes, they can be saved. My vet told me there were no guarantees that my baby would survive after running him from vet to vet, but he did survive! It was expensive, but through financing I was able to make the monthly payments. ❤

Im so sorry for your loss ..❤..
That was beautifully said.
I'm so sorry.. I had a dog that I put down because twisted stomach. 😢
I feel you. Putting my 16 year old boy down on Monday 😢
That was indeed Beautifully said & very Comforting for her to look forward to. ❤️🦮🌈
I'm so sorry for your loss
I'm so sorry for your loss. You're right, it would have been too late. You did the right thing. Shame on that vet! It's all about the money these days with veterinarians. I've seen it, too. I'm glad you ultimately got the answers you needed.
Thank you
I’m so very sorry.

It’s sickening how vets are. First they charge an arm and a leg. And then they don’t give a S about the animals. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Thank you
@Norunormii that's a pretty harsh & broad statement. 🙂
@@LauraE.9897 The vet could have preserved the body UNTIL they could get to the necropsy.

I have never seen your channel until I saw this video pop up. I have to say, I cried along with you! I just had to put my 12 yo dog to sleep 3 days ago. The pain is real!
Thank you for your kind words ❤️

I do believe you were correct in that it was already too late by the time you found him. You only have about an hour give or take after it happens to get treatment before irreversible damage occurs. My mastihound had that happen to him. I realized it right at that point. I was dialing my vet as I was loading him in my car. I got there in 45 minutes. They rushed him to surgery and he was about 10 minutes from needing a blood transfusion. My surgery only cost 4200. I think 8000 is highway robbery. I'm so sorry for your loss. Pyrenees are such good dogs. My heart goes out to you and your family. ❤

Wow
I thought the same! Rat baits thin the blood and burn holes through the stomach lining... very unfortunate way to go. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Losing a family pet in this manner is tragic for everyone! Never feel guilty for not being able to pay those exorbitant prices for our pets. He had a wonderful life with your family and was loved.

Going through losing an animals makes me not want to get another! However I love animals so much, and can't help but get another!! 😮 ❤
Agree sounds like poison not parvo or twisted stomach.
Someone might have hit him with a car and if so it could have did some internal damage. So sorry for your loss
Thank you
I was wondering the same idea of your dog being hit or kicked. He would be super protective of your children and other animals. Could have been in a fight to protect the farm.
When she said he was by the road barking I thought the same about him getting hit by a car.
Very likely since she said she heard him barking by the road.

I'm so sorry for your loss
You are correct in that by the time he was passing blood, it was too late. A twisted stomach is a dire emergency. When I worked at the veterinary facility I was at, a twisted stomach was emergency surgery. Even if the vet was seeing patients, the dog would be prepped immediately for surgery and the vet would have us tell the clients we had an emergency so they could either wait or reschedule their appointment. The surgery would be done right then because the window of time for these cases was very narrow.
@@sandyhubbard6618 thank you for letting me know ❤️
@@TheCrazyFarmWifeyou could check with your regular vet about a gastroplexy for any other dogs you have that are prone to GDV (twisted stomach).

This brings back so many memories. 😢
I'm so sorry for your loss and that you had to go through that.
Always take to a vet dont give any medication and if you don't know what it is, and if they may require surgery, give nothing to eat or drink.

Sorry for your family’s loss , I was balling my eyes out. My sister worked at a veterinary office , she got home to find 1 of her Akitas lying on the floor she rushed him to her vet but it was to late , he died of twisted stomach so she had her other six Akitas stomachs tacked.
I'm so sorry. I lost my lab two years ago. I couldn't afford to pay for surgery.
Thank you! I'm sorry for your loss too
I'm so sorry
You are a wise and courageous woman. It is so difficult losing good dogs. Bravo and carry on, one day at a time.
Thank you ❤️
Run free gentle spirit!
Oh, honey! I am so sorry this happened. My heart breaks for you and your family. He was such a good boy.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your fur baby. We lost our precious catahoula/lab mix Ruby Jane Nov. 2nd. It hurts so bad for not to be here. We don't know why she passed. It was quick. We are praying for you and your family. 🥰😢😭
Thank you! And I'm so sorry for your loss 😢
💗🐾🕊🐾💗I am so sorry for your precious loss💔Love and prayers are sent for y'all💗One of my favorite subscriber's @Hidden HeightsFarm has the same guardian dogs as you & the same thing happened to one of their precious dog's the same thing Sammy died from💔they were devastated like y'all are😢 & the vet said to feed the large dogs their food up off the ground so they put their food containers up on the fence to help stop them from getting a twisted stomache I believe its up on the fence so their mouth when they're standing is level with the food, they've been feeding their dogs this way for awhile now you can talk to them if you can't understand what I've said, lol🤔So take care of yourselves, lot's of love, bye for now💗🇨🇦💗
So sorry for your loss but I understand I would not have been able to pay that much money either so don't feel bad or worry about other people, focus on you and your beautiful family having a farm is hard, and comes with loss
Thank you
I went through that with a cat the pain of it and I said my God I'll never go through this again and you're right about some of these vets Don't even get me started
BLOT, Is when a large dog eats and then like runs. Doing this will twist
the insides and they sadly die. I was told no saving. :(
Anytime a large dog eats or drinks a lot at one time puts them at risk for bloat. And yes, they can be saved. My vet told me there were no guarantees that my baby would survive after running him from vet to vet, but he did survive! It was expensive, but through financing I was able to make the monthly payments. ❤
