    Indeed people who lie will lose self respect, telling the truth means you're prepared to take accoutability and builds respect, rather than avoiding the conflict. Such an Important rule to live by.

    There’s a bit of a Jack Sparrow tactic with Solomons. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but he makes himself look and sound silly at times, which causes people (like Luca Changretta) to underestimate him, and brush him off as an idiot, and then he either blows up on them or pulls a clever manoeuvre which catches them completely off guard.

    I know I’m not exactly the target audience with this video but being a short woman who looks like a child I found this very helpful. I’m about to start teacher training soon and I know some of the older lads are going to be bigger than me and I’m basically doing whatever I can to be taken seriously 😂

    I’ve always felt eye contact is something that is used in films to build intensity but it’s use in real life situations has to be scarce. You can’t hold someone’s gaze for too long as you either come across aggressive or a bit odd.

    Thank you for creating the video topic, and analysis about Alfie Solomons from Peaky Blinders, J. Wisdom. Tom Hardy did an amazing job at making him so formidable and memorable that you can't help, but be so seduced by his mesmerizing acting, and performance. Keep It Up, my friend! PS: Do you think that you can do video topics, and analysis about Raylan Givens from Justified, Frank Martin from The Transporter franchise, Alejandro Gillick from Sicario, Neil McCauley from Heat, Gus Fring from Breaking Bad, Frank Underwood from House Cards, and Elliot from Mr. Robot.

    There's a trick wth eye contact if it's a big ask you can look at someone's earlobe or something they probably won't notice the difference.

    • @mudai_
      @mudai_ Рік тому

      Ong I've found that analyzing people in situations where you might feel awkward holding full eye contact both helps to keep your mind off it and also could make an otherwise very confident person feel like they are being judged in a sense.
      A good balance for me is analyzing someone for about a minute of conversation and then switching over to a rotation about every 5 seconds from eyes, forehead, ears and mouth.
      It's funny tho, because if you look down- but at the persons body, instead of appearing intimidated, you can appear the opposite; as if you are sizing them up or even checking them out 😉

    Command fear, and you will command respect. There are many people in the world who only respect their own fear.
    You'll get by respecting yourself and being respected by many, but those who only understand that singular language, will need to be communicated in that singular language they understand, or avoided outright.
    Learning to identify disorder, then learning how to handle, and/or avoid it.
    There are people in the world who cannot, and will not respect anything.

    And bros, it is infuriating as you're walking up the hill. Life isn't always like in the movies, and that's a rough road to the realization. In situations where I am being disrespected and fucked over, I want to lose my shit and scream and the like or else make very quiet threats. Go Michael Corleone or Tommy on them. But even Corleone and Shelby and John Wayne and Alfie Solomons had to work their way up from the dirt to get where they are, to become what they are. Gaining capital is a lot of it, or social clout. Can't really make threats if you have nothing to threaten with. I reckon every sigma started beta or Omega
