Same issue I had with a lane a few weeks back. The cable never fell off the pulley though. Hardest part was getting the shaft realigned after the broken bolt was removed. The bolt came right out with a few twists of the finger.
That caused me issues tonight full 18 lanes an i was stumped because the cable was still on etc turns out my bolt was lose an the pin for the roller came out binding on the 1:1.
It's much easier to thread an Allen bolt into the shaft and use a lock washer and nut on it once it's through gearbox hole. In almost 20 yrs I've done a ton of these lol.
I understand that. I choose not to do a lot of traveling. I like my job and the team that I work with. I'm not ready to give that up, and money isn't my source of motivation. I make these videos so that I can share my knowledge and help people. That way, I don't have to travel.
Lube the bushing ! I always do that.

I would have preferred to do that. Unfortunately, this service stop didn't have any studs, and I don't carry spare parts with me.
That busted bolt can cause a cracked pin an cover on the 1 to 1
If you traveled with extra parts and charged an additional fee you could make some money worth you knowledge.

@@michaelbuckley3808 Keep up the good work!
The reason this bolt breaks is the shaft or 1 to 1 mounting plate hole is worn.
Try a new shaft first, that’s easier than the mounting plate.
