One thing you glossed over about Greenville is the infrastructure is less than stellar. Moderate rain causes street flooding constantly. Roads are tight and consistently overburdened with traffic. The I85 corridor running through Greenville between Pelham Rd snd Whitehorse Rd is a traffic nightmare during rush hours with multiple daily wrecks that snarls traffic for hours. These are some of the wirst of the quality of life issues that Greenville faces that frsnkly has been issues fir decades that are only getting worse as Greenvilles population grows. With that said, i can attest that the healthcare facilities are better in Greenville than in surrounding areas from my experience with the Greenville Hospital system and Saint Francis hospitals. There is also the Prisma health system as well.
As a native born South Carolinian who grew up in the lowcountry. Charleston is grossly overrated, i'd put Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg ahead of it as far as South Carolina cities go. Not a familiar with Rock Hill enough to comment on it though.
Just have to point out, as a Rock Hill resident, that none of the colleges you named are even in the state, let alone in Rock Hill. There are zero UNC schools in SC. That makes no sense. And Davidson is a good hour away into another state entirely.
