Georgia truly has some majestic and gorgeous hidden gems!!! 😊💯💎✨ It’s astonishing as someone who has lived here most of her life, how many of these I didn’t find out about until my Hubby Tony had told me about them. For anyone who lives in Georgia or in the South-East, there’s something here for everyone. Go Explore and Adventure! Discover somewhere new, get out in the Great Outdoors, and enjoy this absolutely breathtaking planet we all get the privilege to live on. You won’t regret it! 😊🌎🌲
I've been to most all of these, but the last ones are near where I live. In Cloudland Canyon, I hiked one of the trails with my wife, (most difficult one but I can't remember the name), and I almost had a heart attack Iliterally... When we arrived back to the car, I could barely walk. We had brought an ice cooler with water, that probably equaled 64 ounces of COLD water. I saw in the car and devoured every single drop. I have since had several heart attacks and sadly, cannot walk but a few feet now. Regardless, I really enjoyed the hike, as I have all of the countless places my wife and I have gone in the past. I knew from an early age that my health would deterioate to nothing, thus we tried to do as much as possible each weekend, and experienced more in a year, than most do in their lifetimes.
I love my home State and have seen some of these-I have the others on my bucket list. Chatuge Lake is beautiful and often low in water when I’ve seen it but no less beautiful. Bell Mountain’s view of the lake, etc., is fabulous but have good vehicle brakes! Georgia has it all, mountains to marshes and then the beaches. I love Georgia♥️
Beautiful imaging as well as narrative… I came from the foothills of the Bavarian alps at 10 to the swamps is the Savannah Ga area and as far as diversity GEORGIA has it all within a few hours …beaches canyons Forrest all in this beautiful country… thank you for sharing this should have so many more likes!!!
My guy you have to go to Lula Lake in Georgia it is extremely beautiful and very few know about it. 2 Absolutely massive waterfalls and an insane little lake that looks like it’s made in paradise
I generally agree as a Georgia native except for one. Helen is pretty much a tourist trap. It was all artificially created to save a dying town, now it is a crowded soulless town. Chattahoochee excepted.
I would definitely take that town off any list of beautiful or nature , unless you're going trout fishing in the Chattahoochee river when the tubing is closed .
I live in GA and have been to many of these places and as a child saw Carl Wallenda walk a tight rope across the Tallulah Gorge on my birthday July eighteenth nineteen seventy
I think two places that are underrated because they are located between Atlanta, Columbus and Macon are FDR State Park and Sprewell Bluff. They are located in a random stretch of semi-mountainous terrain multiple hours south of the Blue Ridge, with beautiful hiking trails and nice views at both.
Another One is added! Cumberland Island off the coast. See more of it here. ua-cam.com/video/HnWxR_llQs4/v-deo.html

Lived in Georgia for 4 years , very overrated state. Alabama is far more beautiful

No Stone Mountain mention? Morning sunrise hike there is beautiful.
Don't forget to say the roads are very scary with no guard rails. That's the real attraction. 😮

Make sure you go to driftwood beach at low tide. We love going here. Jekyll Island a gem
Great video, and informative. I've been to most of these places!
You did a great job on the video and showing the landmarks in a precise manner! 👍👍
Hopefully I'll check out soon!
Beautiful
Great list!
A great list! But Cumberland Island is my No.1
I agree, Cumberland Island is a gem! It shouldv'e been on this list. My bad

It’s gone downhill & is unattractive now.
Fun place to visit in the 80s/90s, not so much anymore. If visiting, use it as a base to go hike all the surrounding waterfalls and trails.
@@JDashRider nice in the off season
Not really, it’s beautiful and not a trap so
ماشاء الله منظر جميل😍😍
Veri nice video
One day... One day I will move to Georgia
I would say Lake Burton has better Mountain views as it’s literally in a bowl surrounded by the massive mountains. It’s my favorite place on earth.
Totally agree.
Sprewell Bluff
Watson Mill Covered Bridge
Victoria Bryant
Cumberland Island
Okeefenokee Swamp
Lake Lanier
Great additions, especially cumberland island!
Sprewell Bluff is a gem

Ive heard Helen is on the downswing.?
It is. Used to go visit my Dad & we would go to Helen. Last time we went (last year) we saw how it’s gone downhill. Won’t be back.
@@lindylou3519did a certain race ruin it?
@@dumpedaudino just neglected.

No Cumberland Island or Okefenokee swamp
Cumberland should be on this list, my bad.
