    Also helps to put on loose fitting clothes and nothing too tight for a few hours after shaving. That avoids itchiness and ingrowths.

      Mine neither.. The scary part though is I now have a 12 yr old daughter who needs some help and I'm scared to give her a razor. I use a razor myself but in her case, scared. I use a trimmer atm on her just because I think she might get clumsy and cut herself.

    • @LilKittyzAngel

    • @nawalkhaled5073
      @nawalkhaled5073 7 років тому +54

      Caitlin Morgan No, not really. It's just because the hair may cause sweat to be stuck to it. And I'm sure they don't want to stink. That's why.

      @nawalkhaled5073 7 років тому +71

    Just to confirm the step by step process:
    1:exfoliate with the gloves
    2:remove the body hair with foam (or conditioner)
    3:exfoliate again with scrubs
    4:use baby oil or body lotion to moisture
    5:repeat every three days.
    Is that right?

      Angie OS I feel like I got lost on the steps. Great tips but directions weren't clear for me. Do you exfoliate, shave, exfoliate again, use cold water to close pores, then moisturize? Are those the steps?

    • @zaynahpatel6960
      @zaynahpatel6960 7 років тому +146

      Every three days...
      1. Body brushing before shaving.
      2. Use shower oil or baby oil.
      3. Know the right razor . She likes the Venus oil .
      4. Start top to bottom using a shaving gel or conditioner.
      5. Then shave and softly shave against the hairs in short areas allowing the skin to breathe.
      6. Use cold water to minimise pores.
      7. Put lotion all over your body to moisturise your skin.
      For 👙 areas..
      1. Use conditioner in that area without getting it inside.
      2. Go in the same way as the hair then go against the hair.
      3. U can remove bacteria by putting spraying alcohol in the area and dabbing gently.
      I was just summing it up for those of u who didn't quite get the steps :)

      Your hair looks thicker because hair cut straight across will have that dark and thick look to it. So your hair doesn’t actually grow thicker, but it definitely looks like it. That’s why a lot of people prefer to wax their legs.

      I'm sorry this didn't work for you. But maybe you need longer than every three days for shaving. Also, I tried laser treatment and it helped a lot in areas I had this issue with. In the bikini area, I used to get this and waxing and sugaring both didn't work with me. I did 2 laser sessions and it made my skin more firm. All the best :)

      Maybe it's because it's No shave November for me (armpits only) that I'm watching so many shaving videos. I enjoy shaving with DE razors and a straight razor, but it's definitely not necessary. But women are shamed for being hairy all the time, and this shaming is extending to men as well.

      As long as you have a barrier between you and the razor (shave cream, shave gel, conditioner, lotion, just pick one) you exfoliate with anything and lotion afterwards you’ll be fine

    I have a question: you say you shave every 3 days. I used to do that during summer on my armpits, but after a while I started to see my armpits were never completely smooth again, you would always see a kind of 'stubbles'. Since I'm just a European girl having the hairgrowth similar to someone from the Middle East I hope you can help me :) Love the video! :) :)

    for my pubic hair, i use a generous amount of conditioner, and use short strokes in the direction that the hair grows. make sure to apply very little pressure. i always follow up with olive oil after i get out of the shower. remember to never use lotions down there bc the perfumes will irritate the skin!! but always keep it moisturized w oil

    • @DellaStreet123
      @DellaStreet123 5 років тому +1

      The "best" shave for me is one from a straight razors. Good quality multi blade razors can give you a shave that is a bit closer but not necessarily better. I'm not trolling here, it's just based on experienced, and I'm well aware that not everybody can use a straight razor for body shaving. You need time, practice, and a steady hand. My second choice in shaving tools is a DE razor. If I was stuck with having to use a cartridge razor, I'd opt for the Fusion over the 5-blade Venus because it has less plastic.

    • @sarrahgleen7445
      @sarrahgleen7445 7 років тому +3

      i guess it depends...some of them are made for single use but the ones from Venus can be use at least 2-3 times.. it also depends how you take care of your razor. sorry that i was the one answering you and sorry for my bad english. kisses

    • @denabz

      I have a Venus razor and on it is a little blue stripe who disappeares when the upper part of the razor needs to be changed. That's every 2-3 months and I shave about one or three times in the week

    • @70spoem

      I agree with Sofia Germann, I use venus too and one razor lasts for approx 3 months

    • @imgrii2794
      @imgrii2794 7 років тому +4

      Sofia germann is right i had the venus swirl and that thing lasted for about maybe 3 months i was thinking i was crazy or something cause its my first razor from venus.
      Ps: i tend to clean my razor after i use it and i always try to avoid letting hairs stuck in it, and i shave maybe once or twice a week.
