SITH LEGENDS | Darth Bane
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- Darth Bane, rose from a life of hardship and servitude in the mines of Apatros to become one of the most influential Sith Lords in history. Rejecting the infighting and dilution of power within the Sith Order, he instituted the Rule of Two, declaring that only two Sith-a master and an apprentice-should exist at any time to ensure the strength and secrecy of the dark side. His legacy endured for generations, shaping the Sith into a formidable force destined to challenge the Jedi and the Republic.

Another Sunday lecture from Darth Televangelist.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAH
I'll eat your tongue.
LMAO
Jesus tap dancing Christ. Pin point accuracy on the description
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bane manipulated Khan into thinking that the thought bomb would only destroy the Jedi.
you read to book
Was a bit disappointed that his cunning and manipulation were down played in this retelling
Exactly. They got a couple things wrong in this video
It stands as one of the best SW books I've read. THIS is the type of Sith character that Disney needs to create, rather than weak children with bad attitudes.
It’s time for the Sith phase of Star Wars, let’s get a rated R film
Not until someone other than Disney is making .. we must wait, bide our time, we will know when it is time
Darth Bane is the creator of the rule of 2. A master and an apprentice. One to embody the power the other to crave it.
Without Des our order falls to itself.
Revan was the guy who taught him that.
To covenant
I've been waiting for a channel like this to pop up for YEARS. Thank you and LONG LIVE THE SITH!
YESS!!🔥🤘
Glory to the darkside, good hunting HK22
I'm curious why people are suddenly talking about the dark side.
This is amusing. I've adapted the philosophy of the dark side into something that works in the real world for years.
It's not quite complete for public consumption. But now I see the appetite is there. My question is where did this come from?
The Sith live on!!!
through Rey Palpatine 😂
@MVNXTR I've never heard of force realism. Thanks for the insight.
This is why my version would probably never catch on. All of what I've seen relies heavily on larping and the philosophy i've worked on is applicable in the real world and doesn't have these fantasy elements.
There is something that tells me that this new found interest in the path of the shadow has to do with a new Disney show I haven't seen.
Epic. Homie sounds like he's wearing Plagueis's respirator after hitting a fat dab.
😂😂
Sweet sweet Mary
Done correctly (when Lucasfilm redeems itself) the Bane trilogy of novels should be turned into a film trilogy. It would be amazing if done right.
Facts
Absolutely 👍
I would love a Narration on Darth Vectivus. He’s such a Unique Sith, he accomplished little. But was the Absolute ruler of his area of space. He used the Dark Side to Control but did not loose the Live of his Family/Friends.
The Jedi say that all Sith must die, to the point of committing a Holocaust. And yet they have no answer to Vectivus Showing another path for the Sith
The rule of two's creator. The famed Darth Lord of the Sith, Master Bane. His philosophy rebuilt the Sith order in the name of power and victory. Master Bane was revolutionary for his time. The rule of two though must not be as diligently followed as one would think. Take it from someone who knows. You will need something different at different stages of your grand design. This may require differences in your apprentice as well. This is the genius of Sideous. As he moved from apprentice to apprentice as newer, more worthy individuals presented themselves. Individuals whose pull towards the Darkside is as strong as your own. When you covet a new apprentice you must still adhere to the rule of two. So never forget to clean up your ... mistakes before you move on to the education of another. Never assume anything or a monster you started, if not snuffed out appropriately. Will eventually come back for your power and by then you won't know what kind of abomination stands before you. Putting your life and the entire Sith order in jeopardy. Use and when necessary snuff out your apprentices wisely. As you may be surprised how fast one you teach grows in power. But be warned. Only teach them just enough to fool themselves into thinking they're becoming your equal. Never extend all your knowledge to an apprentice as the one who takes your place must be able to eclipse you the Master. When you are gone you must be sure your successor can obtain power, knowledge, and victory on their own. If they do not. Then you will cut them down with ease as they will have reached too far too fast. Only when the day comes that you are bested by your student. Then and only then will your job as the Master be fulfilled. Heed my warnings and follow our ways as I do for I am Sith.
The books were very interesting. I would like it as a movie but Disney would ruin it. I’d have Dwayne the Rock Johnson or Dave Bautista as Darth Bane and Margo Robbie as Darth Zannah.
My headcannon for the ending of Banes and Zannahs duel is that Bane never fully understood what the true nature of essance transfer was. At their very end, Bane attempted the rite of essance transfer and the author deliberately left it vague if was successfull or not except for the attention made to the small twitch in zannahs hand. I feel that Bane always existed in zanah after that. Even if he wasnt in control of her vessel, his essance was always within her as a dark passenger.
As palapatine said. "I am all the sith."
If I remember correctly, that's more or less what happened to Tenibrus
@@roycehuepers4325it was. Tenebrous was able to transfer to Plagueis but unable to do anything and in the end he relived his death in perpetuity.
You do know the author came out and directly said he never intended for the ending to be vague and in fact thought it was abundantly clear that Zannah completely won the battle don't you? He felt the line when Cognus asks if it's Bane and she replied Bane was gone, that she was Zannah, Dark Lord of the Sith, made it clear she won. The tremor in her hand was an "imprint" of Bane left over from fierceness of the battle.
@jrdjr212 I did not know that. That fills in alot of context.
Bane was the one that convinced Khan to use the thought bomb.
I thought that too, idk how he got the idea that he tried to stop the thought bomb.
Maybe he didnt read the book and the novel
Pretty sure this is just AI @@renoblevg5375
In keeping with the Rule of Two, each Sith would only challenge their Master when and only when BOTH Sith were at the peak of their strength. It would not do for a strong Master to fall to a weaker Apprentice, else the strength of the Sith Order itself would be left diminished.
Another reason why Darth Sidious/Palpatine was doomed to failure, since he killed his master, Darth Plageuis, when he was stone-drunk and passed out. Also, Sidious never had any intention of passing on the mantle of Sith Master to Darth Vader.
@@redleg1971true. Bane was ideological, but his teachings are the only thing that can make the Sith work. Any time they strayed away from the grand plan they weakened themselves
@@redleg1971 Plageuis chose the wrong apprentice. Palpatine was literally a serial killer than Sith.
@@zaberfang How is that any different than any other Sith Lord?
@@redleg1971 Because he saw the Sith Order as a means to an end, rather than the end goal in and of itself. What made him such a powerful Sith Lord was the fact that he managed to transform the Republic into an Empire and turn public opinion wholly against the Jedi Order, something no Sith before him was able to do.
When you realize that all are lies, and you have left all things treasured by fools behind. Only then will you begin to know yourself and your path to power.
Thank you for helping me walk the path of power
Darth Revan's video will be a master work.
Two points of contention in what was stated in this video.....
1. Bane did not try to stop Lord Kaan from using the Thought Bomb. Bane was the one who brought this ability to Kaan after Bane had learned it in a Sith holocron, hoping that Kaan would be power-hungry enough to use it, not knowing it would destroy ALL Force-senitive beings in the area. It was Bane's way of eliminating all of his Sith rivals in one fell swoop.
2. There were no remains of Darth Bane to bury after his final dual with Darth Zannah. She used Sith sorcery to congure dark side Force tendrals that desintigrated anything they touched, to include Bane's body. But Bane used the ritual of Force-essence transfer to send his Force-spirit into Zannah to try and push out her spirit and take over her body, but he lost that battle and his Force essence was cast into the void. But a small part of him remained inside Zannah for the rest of her life.
I wish to write a tale of two of the unknown Banite Sith in the Quiet Years between the time of Darth Cognus and Darth Gravid. I gave them the names of Darth Matris, the Dark Mother, and Darth Umbris, the Lord of Shadows. When I finish my tale, Warrior Tier, I hope you'll narrate it.
Literally been waiting for this 😭
Kahn didn’t come up with the thought bomb. Bane purposely sabatoged and destroyed the brotherhood in order to institute the rule of 2
Bane learned about the thiught bomb and told kan and made it out to be his idea. Knowing it was going to destroy the sith along with the Jedi so he can bring in the rule of 2
i don't trust Disney to do a show about Darth Bane. They won't do the source material justice. Darth Bane's story would be so good if done well like a Game of Thrones-type show.
Completely agree 👍👍👍been saying it
They’ll focus toooo much on woke, call the show “Darth bane” but watch it be 100% about Darth talon or Darth treya lol
@@jordanashen3811 It would not matter even if they focused on female Sith Lords as Darth Bane apprentice is a woman and you can't do anything on Darth Bane without his apprentice. The issue is not writing good story that is engaging and fantastic.
Even if they focused on woke in the acolyte that was not the major problem. The Acolyte is poorly written and boring as hell, they did not follow the lore at all and everything looks amateurish, its star wars for crying out loud
Bad storytelling is not a problem on the surface
But the symptom of the forced wokism
The only true Sith’ari
"The Sith killed each other. Victims of their own greed. But from the ashes of destruction, *I* was the last survivor. *I* chose to pass my knowledge onto only one. *I* created a legacy so resilient that now you come before me.''
"Remember the first and only reality of the Sith: there can only be two.''
Some of your lore is little off but it’s a good vid nonetheless.
It's intentional. Darth Televangelist is a propaganda machine after all.
@@aliastheabnormal- touché
It’s a mix of Canon and Legends with a bit of in universe misunderstanding, for example Bane was the one who detonated the thought bomb but there’s no way a new Sith order established after the fall of the Final Order would know about that.
It's intentional. The channel is supposed to be the Sith telling the story.
@@demonduck1220 that is what i was referring to, the thought bomb was something he discovered and showed lord khan, in order to kill all of them.
Yes another wonderfully narrated video from our favorite sith master.
Bane's body was destroyed, his remains ash. While his true spirit didn't exist on Korriban (the TRUE homeworld of the Sith), his likeness/teachings endured in the holocron he created; and since he pursued spiritual transference before his death, part of him endured in Zannah and likely all the Sith after until Palpatine's final death on Onderon.
Where do I find the book of blood
Once they had power , they couldn’t hold on to the power . So all the work to get there , was lost .
His voice is sick-awesome.😀
Darth Bane was the one who manipulated Him into using the thought bomb ! Otherwise I like this as Darth Bane is my favorite sith and the 3 books are the best books on Star Wars in my opinion
“There Can Only Be Two” Darth Sidious
I don't want to be a product of my environment.....I want my environment to be a product of me😡
the voice is so narrative and storyteller. so amazing
The intro sounds like Sardaukar anthem from Dune! 🤔
I was hoping for sith videos like this, at last...
Darth Bane is my favourite Sith Lord for everything described in this video
The man is a true revolutionary when it comes to the Sith Arts 🔥
Excellent video, minor inaccuracies are nothing compared to the end result. Very well done.
I have been really enjoying this channel! ❤ wanted to add though that the history of the thought bomb is a little off - Bane was the one that gave it to Kahn. Could have been a better opportunity to discuss Bane’s cunning versus how he didn’t want Kahn to do it. Again though, I’ve really enjoyed this channel and look forward to more videos!
Bane's was inspired to create the Rule of two from Revan's Holocron .
I’m not very involved in the Star Wars trilogy but this site is very cool great work love the voiceover
The Thought Bomb was orchestrated by Bane..
Sounds like a hung over captain picard
Darth Bane, the Sith'ari
A Sith channel? Yes!!!
Lord Bane culled the weak from the darkside that believed brotherhood would see us ascend, no he freed us of our chains and forged the true path to power
I see people talking about how your info is "off". I like that at least you are trying to bring forth the background lore of these dark side characters. Keep up the good work, but tey to do some MORE research a lil deeper but other than that, I am enjoying the feel you have going with these. Do you do any of the Jedi's? That would be cool
Reduce the use of the word „power“ in your videos and the quality of them will improve a lot in my opinion.
Greets!
Good stuff… the narrator is very Sentinel. Prime.. very nimoy
So on the rule of two if your apprentice successfully kills you you technically succeed because you creating a more powerful sith even tho your dead??
who did the concept art? at 2:09, young Bane shot looks photorealistic. and the atmospheric compositions of the others really lend themselves to the story. very well done
If yall can use deepfake on all characters that would be wonderful! Good job star wars man and team!
Bane thought he was bigger than the force it's self and that was his downfall, whether jedi or sith balance will and always will prevail, that is the way
What language is the "my life has been a lesson for you" in the opening of the video. Doesn't look like the sith alphabet.
Star wars legends is still better then canon on my opinion because after the return of the Jedi the new republic and new Jedi order come along and still fighting the sith and the imperials and the rule of one come along and defend the republic and Jedi
I hope we get a lecture on Revan or Vitiate soon
When dealing with lone survivors, they tell story. They might have won the battle, then he slaughtered all the sith. After Palpatine, seems like their method.
Bane gave them the idea for the thought bomb. He used the information to pretend that he had given in to their ways….minutes later he meets his apprentice.
Under the Jedi temple is a powerful ancient sith artifact of immense power. The Jedi themselves were completely unaware of this.
What is it?
@@danielpauley9113 its an ancient sith temple with immense power. Darth maul tried to get his hands on it but failed.
I love this channel! We need more much much more!
When will see one for Darth Plagueis?
In my opinion this is a great and one of the smartest sith that created the rule of two.
Better Than Disney Garbage
I'm so sick of sidious being called the most powerful sith! There are dozens of sith far more powerful than him.. nihilus, bane, Marc ragnos, Trays just to name a few. But he was intelligent as far as his scheming goes
Isn’t that all that counts in the end? According to the Sith of course
i love you're warhammer stuff just stumbled upon your sith stuff this is fantastic
Splendid 🖤
You should do Darth Malak
Love this channel no other like it.
We need a bio on Marka Ragnos next
Theses are epic! Need more!
Hate to say it man, but “We are many; he was just one” kinda indicates that you’ve broken the Rule of Two…😏😏😏
Ahh.... the Sith i look like 😂
Composer's
He was the sith Ari. I have spoken
A problem if the Rule of Two was that Bane had a young, easily indoctrinated appre tice, who believed utterly in her master's teachings. Those we know of that succeeded her were already their own people with their own ideas about things.
Darth Bane began the Sith's master plan to control the galaxy, spending 1000 years patiently building power so that Palpatine would eventually succeed and create a Sith empire that would last for.....20 years 😰
sounds like the Bene Gesserite from Dune. they planned and plotted for thousands of years to get their one.
That's all thanks to the Prequels 🙄
Why’d you tell the story wrong? Bane discovered the thought bomb from the and Holocron and manipulated the sith into releasing it.
It sounds like you need to research Bane’s history. He manipulated Khan into using the Thought Bomb to specifically destroy the brotherhood.
ua-cam.com/users/shorts4prza2eKRcs?feature=shared SNEEK PEEK from INSTRUCTOR MACE WINDU
So I mean, technically then, doesn't this mean the Jedi were, in fact, "stronger" than the Sith? At least, as a group.
A group of Jedi vs a group of Sith. Jedi > Sith. Though one on one the Sith tend to be stronger.
Wish they would turn some novels into movies, but unfortunately Disney has fucked Star Wars all up.😢
The rule of two is also flawed.
It doesn't take "the strongest" apprentice to simply stab their master in the back, as Palpatine basically did. Does it really strengthen the Sith order to encourage a student to betray their master when their master is at his/her weakest?
Great video. Please do one on Tenebrae/Viciate/Emperor/Valkorian
The Bane trilogy by Drew Karpyshyn is one of best books I've ever read
The Thought Bomb, AKA the Sith version of a nuclear weapon.
Bane opposed the thought bomb? It was Bane that brought the technique to Ka'an and the brotherhood. He wanted themnto use it so they'd destroy themselves!
It was Bane's plan that they'd use the technique!
Outstanding
this telling has flaws.... it was not lord Kahn who wanted the thought bomb and Bane opposed its use....Bane gave Kahn the idea to get rid of all of them and create the rule of 2.
Whoa, what a powerful channel. Big ups
I appreciate a Chanel to the sith but it needs to be more accurate bane got the idea for the rule of two from Revans holocron and gave the thought bomb to Kahn and tricked him in to using it in order to destroy the brotherhood and make the Jedi believe no sith survived so he could implement the rule of two
Where do you get these intro voices? its so thrilling
I drive dark chaos with unrrlentingness Power😅
Youre wrong, bane wanted the thought bomb to happen. Thats why he was the only one to survive it. It was a way to wipe the sith out and start his rule of 2
This is amazing!!!! Please please do Darth Raven
Wait. This voice is familiar. Did you do 40k stuff too?
If someone needs voice actors or actors I would very much so like to be apart of the project.
This was lowkey kinda spooky, or it is just me? Please say no lmao.
Wasn't the thought bomb Bane's idea to destroy the brotherhood?
How did Bane pee with all those obralisks all over him?
I thought it hinted thay he transferred his essence into his apprentice on his death?
Keep going love it.
