Jimmy's body language is pretty interesting. He is almost constantly emulating guitar play. His left hand, palm up and out, making sliding motions. His right hand palm inward, making strumming-like gestures and finding pressure on his chest or leg. If you watch carefully, and know a little about playing a guitar, you can see his left hand is at times actually mimicking his voice inflections on a imaginary fret board. Pretty cool.

Theres music that literally sounds heavy, like the construction of the song, chords, drums, bass, etc. all comes together "heavy", but in the case of Zeppelin, its a case of really a lot the ideas are very heavy in terms of how they come across. Its fascinating for sure.
Greatest guitarist-Jimmy Page Greatest vocalist-Robert Plant Greatest drummer-John Bonham One of the greatest bassist's-John Paul Jones ….I wonder what it is that makes LED ZEPPELIN SO GREAT?
Dont forget Peter Grant, also known as the 5th member of Zeppelin, its pretty obvious that Zep would have been successful with out him, but they would not have become so wealthy, so quick without him, he made sure that they got paid ALL of the money, 20% each, he was never violent, but he was 22 stone, & 6"3, & the threat of violence towards the promoters & everyone else was enough to make sure that they never got ripped of. It got to the stage were he turned the game on its head, he demanded that the band got 90% & the promoters just got 10, whereas before they got 50% each he said "Take it or leave it", & they had to accept it, because they all realised that 10% from Zeppelin concert was still a lot of money, nobody dared to question him, because they all got well paid, & he was always right. Grant was as shrewd as anyone in the music business, at a time when bands were getting ripped off left, right, & centre. Listen to the J. P. Jones documentary when he goes into great detail as to why Peter was very, very important to Zeppelin, its fascinating. The perfect band, with the perfect manager, R. I. P. Peter Grant 1935 - 1995.
I first heard him with the Yardbirds(and they were good),then with LED Zepplin. At the time, there was very little information on the music like today.Only the name of composers.First time I heard LZ,was in Florida, and liked the group.Beatles, stones etc,I heard in school,in England.LZ is one of my favorites, unfortunately all things must PASS!
At 9:00 he seems to being to get really pissed off that she's saying the band was the start of heavy metal. I know previously he hated that comparison...
I'm 65 and grew up with Led Zepplin... still play those albums "all the time," nothing in the music scene comes close to Zep's tone and style of playing! Zzzzzeeeeppppppplllllllliiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn!!!
It used to bug me how much JP bragged on his band. Even though I was hooked from the opening chords of Good Times Bad Times. Now I don't care. Miles Davis created some kind of Gold Standard, as did the Beatles, Steely Dan, and last but not least, Led Zeppelin [name courtesy of Keith Moon.]

One of the greatest bassist's-John Paul Jones
….I wonder what it is that makes LED ZEPPELIN SO GREAT?
Pay it forward...beautiful!!

Yet America helped break them wide open.
Ok. I was tempted to get pen and paper and take notes.
Love Led Zeppelin. They are my favorite band. #1 and then Rival Sons/James Brown make up my trinity of great artists of all time.
Alan McLaren Rival Sons? Never heard of them. I’ll have to look into that.
5:53 interesting exchange
Jimmy should create a Spotify playlist of his favourite tunes now , favourites tunes growing up and tunes that influenced him and Zepp
Man is genius musician.
This girl Louise is pretty good!
Hats off for James putting up with her. A nice gal, but clueless and a little bubble headed. Thanks James!
I think Jimmy has a crush😻 …. Lol.
In all seriousness, this man is a WORLD treasure.
Led Zeppelin will live on forever.
And here you have a serious, thoughtful professional genius (god), talking to a child journalist.
Jimi Hendrix -JImmy Page-Joe Satriani are top 3 guitarist's in my book
Legend
At 9:00 he seems to being to get really pissed off that she's saying the band was the start of heavy metal. I know previously he hated that comparison...
Hello Louise. When will your new interview with JP be posted? Soon I hope? Hope all is well with you and yours
I'm 65 and grew up with Led Zepplin... still play those albums "all the time," nothing in the music scene comes close to Zep's tone and style of playing! Zzzzzeeeeppppppplllllllliiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn!!!
Why does nobody ever ask him the meaning of Zoso?
They have and he gets very agitated and stops the interview.
it in the book of occult symbolat local library
It's a secret. Why would he tell??
It used to bug me how much JP bragged on his band. Even though I was hooked from the opening chords of Good Times Bad Times. Now I don't care. Miles Davis created some kind of Gold Standard, as did the Beatles, Steely Dan, and last but not least, Led Zeppelin [name courtesy of Keith Moon.]
Why didn't they put "Train Kept a Rolling" on the first album?
They didn't put Louie Louie on either
Dick Wagner asked them not to.
Let Jimmy talk, already!
