When I updated mine a few years ago, I forgot to hook up the battery charger. I wound up having to buy a new battery after jumping it off a couple of times. You can also adjust when your vehicle goes to sleep on the radio as well. Great video as always.

HELP!!! Why did you update your maps? I see they want $149 plus shipping plus tax = $169. With Garmin GPS updates are free for life. Did you have the issue with your map showing you 25 miles away from where you actually were like so many of us? My map a couple months ago started showing my about 25 miles away and it will not reset. Do you think by buying the maps that this issue will be fixed? Everything else works fine on the Uconnect system.
good day Mate ... I got a 98 TJ wrangler I recently got a key recut for ii as the old one was lost. I called in two locksmith to program the Key but there scanners wont connect to the ECU I had a Launch pro computer on it and was able to access it but the other key programming machines wont get in the ecu as it keeps reading error can you assist please ?
@@TestDontguess not sure because I got it without the key so i went to the dealer gave them the vin and got the pin to program and cut the new key so now i have the right key but it needs to program because the key is Flashing on the dash . But the new cut key is grey as it goes with a chip also the jeep is RHD

Does this work on a 2015 dodge charger with a 2018 Uconnect? I don’t have the maps on mine and really want it
only if your Uconnect was designed for maps and your vehicle has the gps.
This process is an expensive royal pain. Especially when you think about the comparison being a phone with your choice of map apps.
I wish there was a software update that would give me LS-like power on my TJ!
