AMS2 is a visual masterpiece for me. Give me a sim that has: - AMS2 visuals - rF2 FFB and telemetry output - iRacing online servers, racing series, ratings. - AMS2/iRacing development team
GT7 is not that bad. But you also have AC and ACC. But the PC will always be a superior platform for sim racing since you can use any racing wheel and many other custom hardware, such as button boxes, handbrakes, etc.
The think i dont like about AMS, is that the sound is cutted in parts. For example when u downshift, there is no continous sound of the engine instead it will have 2 different parts. Something like a small delay if u know what i mean.
Le Mans Ultimate wins this by far! The detail in sound is unreal! The upshifts, the downshifts, the gear wobble, the kerbs, the small rocks and dust you can hear picked up by the tyres. Every single detail and many more is what brings the immersion on top level with LM Le Mans Ultimate! What a sim this is gonna be! Just wow! Sound is so so important in a racing game and LMU show this to perfection! 10/10 ❤
@@chrisl211 Really?! I think the driving is really good, FFB, tracks and the tire model as well. I mean don't get me wrong there are plenty of bugs and things to improve, but the important stuff apart the weird dead zone and some FFB details to be added, the game is pretty good.
Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, AMS 2 has a very different quality of car behavior and force feedback. In fact, AMS2 is incorrectly considered as a single product. Happily, F1 is made very well here. Especially F1 1983-92. But the karting here is simply disgusting. (The best kart sim - is Kart Racing Pro). And the graphic quality of cars in AMS2 is also very different.
So far I have found I am slower in LMU than I am in AMS2 by probably 2 seconds, at least at Spa. AMS2 wants you to live on the edge, and so far in LMU on the edge I overheat my rear tires and spin. At least with the GTE's!
GT7 graphics are next level, it makes AMS2 look last gen n thats on a pc with max graphics, the sound in the game is amazing but the actual car sounds are not fully accurate in cockpit. They need to use car sounds in cockpit with window down more natural exterior exhaust noise.
Why LMU and rf2 looks so bad on this video? It was recorded on lowest settings without antialiasing? These two sims looks way better on full settings, especially LMU.
I was wondering the same. Is LMU so hard on a GPU that the creator of this video had to dumb down the settings? It is especially clear when compared side by side with AMS2. Then again AMS2's graphic engine is incredibly well adept for decent graphics, even at a low end system. In the comparison with AMS2 it looks like the creator has the settings at about half of AMS2's. It even looks worse than iracing, and that says a lot.
GT7 absolutely dog walks all PC Sims in terms of graphics, wtf are you talking about? 😂😂 it even has the most accurate sound design for road cars, PC sim Racing community has turned themselves into a big joke with constant gatekeeping of their mediocre games that remain in beta stages years after release 😂😂 no wonder sim racing is still so unpopular genre in gaming with such a nonsensical fanbabies
@jz2811 I am very calm. You are the one whose feelings got hurt just by the presence of GT7 and FM, that's why PC sim racers are the most sensitive community in gaming 😂.....relax, LMU will remain in beta phase for its lifetime and milk the ever living sht out of you for all DLCs just like any other super duper PC sim, no need to take it too seriously 🤣🤣
My take: headlight distance and reflections rather poor in LMU, whether on dry or wet pavement. Sound seems dull and underwhelming. No rain drops but I suppose that's a work in progress, to be added at a later date. But to me the main downside appears to be the graphics. It seems to be half the resolution of AMS2 when compared side by side. Also the 3D model is lacking in detail, this especially noticeable at Spa. I said this before when trying the free Le Mans track demo during AMS2 Christmas trial, that LMU had their work cut out for them if they're to top AMS2 on what should be their flagship track. Guess the mountain was too high to climb.
you compare rf2 to lmu. so why do you set head movements and stances in rf2 to look worse? set the same in rf2 and lmu. at first glance it looks in replays that rf2 has better suspension in the car, it looks more real. I wouldn't compare lmu, rf2 to ams2
LOL!!! I really like the AMS2 version better. Plus AMS2 has much more Tracks/Cars content. So I don't need LMU game at this time. Plus I have similar LMU tracks on my RFactor 2 game done by modders. I don't care if they are not laser scanned. RFactor 2 also has much more Track/Car content. LMU game is too limited for me to buy. If you like doing long drawn out races online, then go for it. To me, this game would get too boring over time unless they add more tracks in the future. I don't. I have both AMS2 and RFactor 2 games. Will stick to playing those games. Bye!!!
LMU needs some work. It still feels like a beta. Like RENNSPORT, I still feel that AMS 2 is better right now, but that is a mature product that is done and shipped. The updates are great to keep it going. Hopefully the updates come along for LMU quick and don’t drag out or whatever momentum they have built up is gonna fade, like RENNSPORT.
99% of people are listening on there dogshit tiny phone speakers, they cant tell the difference. Listen with a sound system with a subwoofer then u can tell whats really going on.
@@JoeyBagZ still sounds bad on phone? Yes it does u can still tell LMU is inferior even with phone speakers. Most people dont really know what sound is tho.
@@Sideways_Singh um ok, let me make this clean. To me, the engine sounds in LMU sound like garbage. The cars sound bad. Good thing it’s a beta, and they have time to improve it along with everything else they need to fix. I know what real race cars sound like, LMU is not that, period.
AMS2 Le Mans has insane track side details.
LMU for the win, but Forza for the incredible rain at night 😮

There are custom ffb files that can get you very close to the RF2 ffb in AMS2, this is definitely your way to fill that void
Search for "full ffb" on the reiza forum. Game changer

For me AC is still the most immersive but yes they nailed the sound on LMU.
I'm a little jealous of PC gamers. They have such great racing games and we console players only have Forza and GT7
ACC?
I bought a pc just to play AC , not ACC just AC 😂😂
GT7 is not that bad. But you also have AC and ACC. But the PC will always be a superior platform for sim racing since you can use any racing wheel and many other custom hardware, such as button boxes, handbrakes, etc.
I wish we had those hypercars on GT7..
Perhaps we'll get those for GT8 when WEC regulations will switch to hydrogen fuel LoL

Nothing beat rF2 in sound department imo. Visual wise, AMS2 is the most pleasuring to watch. I wonder if there any AC's ppf that emulate AMS2 looks?
could always use something like ACReal's CCDev and create it urself
Incredible How Project cars 2 engine still beats new games
The sounds are much more accurate on LMU
That's the only positive point of the game so far.
@@chrisl211 I feel your pain 😂
Well, it's a new game. It should be normal that the sound in a new game is better than other older games.

AMS2 +++ for graphics, LMU +++ for sound (I would exclude FM and GT7 from such comparison and add ACC or AC at least)

I fear that LMU will go the same route as ACC: gets dull and old after a short while. Lack of content is a limitation that is a fun killer.

Weird to see everyone praising the LMU sound design. A real car doesn't sound that tinny from the cockpit when all the windows are up.
I agree just about every clip in the video LMU sounds are out classed. It’s like there is something missing.
