I literally just searched for “Ariat bench made boots / Jeremiah Craig” last night And was super bummed that you hadn’t done a review yet. One day later the review is here. Wow!! thanks for being so on top of your game! Love your videos!
I own the bench made stillwell, a pair of Lucchese classics, and a pair of Cody James boots and Ariat steel toes. The bench made is my go too, the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned
I hit the video immediately, not a fan of Ariat use of China made boots but dam do I love their classic cowboy and square toe line if I can find a made in Mexico version for better leather quality and smell! these look amazing not ganna lie! Keep making those Boots videos bud! The world needs more to bring back boots more!
Interesting that you mention Tecovas. I'm immediately reminded of the Tecovas Stockton boot, also in bison leather, also made in Mexico, and at a very similar price. The big difference is that the Stockton has a grippy Vibram outsole, as that boot is more work-focused.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't say that! Say that he needs to put on a black leather pair. Yea.
finally someone covering this boot line. I have the Hardin boot and is one of my favorite boots that I own. I hope someone goes over the exotic ones even though i expect similiar results, but nice to see how those turned out.
@@grayking2704Hey same guy but different account. Do you have the roper or full boot? I was wanting the full boot but they are out of stock in my size, but I might get the roper if the reviews are good.
Jeremiah, thanks to you, this video on the Ariat Bench Made Clanton boots convinced me to order a pair today. I was able to save both the shipping cost and 10% on the price by becoming an Inside Member. I can't wait for them to arrive! Follow-Up... I received the boots four days after ordering them...Ariat really "brought it!" Unfortunately, however, they were too small. I wear an 8 1/2 D but ordered a 9 1/2 D, and they were impossible for me to get on. The straight shaft looks great, but it's too narrow to get my feet into. In fact, my toes can't even reach the insole. Sorry to say, I am returning them for a refund.
Another great video @JeremiahCraig. I cant say this enough, thanks for making great and positive content. I really like boots but your videos really get me hyped up about them. Thanks brother!
You're the first reviewer that I've seen do a video on these boots. I was wondering if these were a good boot but I hadn't seen anyone else review these. Glad to hear that they are good boots because I haven't been a big fan of Ariat in the past due to many of their boots being made in China and I am also not a fan of the wide tops.
I'm gonna order their Benchmade Black bison leather Bassett pair soon. So stoked! It's nice that they're doing a more traditional handmade line with these
I chose this boot over the Tecovas boot, at first I was all about Tecovas then I tried on some Ariat boots and liked them better. I also knew what size I wore in an Ariat boot, after trying some on in a store. the leather looks thicker on the bench made ariat boot than the tecovas to me.
I bought Bench Made at Stages West in Pigeon Forge TN - Square Toe Pair, plus a Pair of Elk Bench Made and a third pair Ostrich Western Boot - All Bench Made.
This boot and the Earl from Tecovas are nearly identical price. I am personally a fan of the look of this brown Ariat with its natural pebbling over the Tecovas, curious on build quality and comfort differences as I own neither.
I own 3 pairs of Tecovas and I will tell you that they are great boots and a great value. I am tempted to get a pair of these Ariats because I like the look but I haven't had the best experience with Ariat in the past. I would need to see a long term review before I decide to get a pair.
I received a pair of the ostrich skin boots recently. They are extremely well made, especially for the price. I have Tecovas, and these are definitely better made than them; which I’d describe as ‘city boots’. I think Ariat Benchmade are a direct competitor to Chisos, which I also have - and they’re also wonderful boots. These are significantly cheaper though, and a home run imo. I may buy the bison ones next, just because they look so good.
Looks nice and like you the narrow top is a great help to ware different cuffed jeans. I'm putting my bid in to review the Dan Poast Dorsal Sea Bass boot, smaller scales look unique and very cool. Keep up the great job you do on your channel.
That's a great looking & seemingly quality made boot. I like it. My only caveat is, that I've never liked removable insoles, but it's nice to see it also has the hard leather insole. I think Ariat Bench Mades are going to be a very good contender to the comparable competition! Thanks JC 👍
If you need a size higher than 13, you might be able to take the insole out and actually fit into them! I agree on the contender comment. We'll have to see how these do against other boots in a similar price point
@@JeremiahCraig go tell your wife, noobs, they don’t know nothing! Keep picking and congrats on your sponsorship. Wish it was a US company but they are big. Those bench made look good!
How much narrower are the shafts on these compared to the heritage Roper? The heritage Ropers fit me perfectly, but I know a lot of people complain about the chefs.
How tight or loose is the vamp area?? I have trouble finding well fitting boots because I have a wide "toe box" but a thin foot around the knuckle. Those look great!
Love you Jeremiah! I do have a question: Did you condition the Ariats out of the box. I have some on order and I was wondering if I should use conditioner before I wear them. Thanks Buddy
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but for $519 you can get a custom made boot from Beck Cowboy boots. They actually take a mold of your feet, besides measurements of your foot and calf, to make your own last. It’s a ten week wait list for the cowboy special. I got mine a month ago and I’ve never had a boot this comfortable. They pop on with little effort right out of the box and pop off with a little bit of effort too.
@@1guarino you will be getting the Cowboy special. Call them up and make sure, but you will order the free sizing kit (it might be a couple of bucks to ship). Once you send it in to them you have a choice on full custom for $700 or the cowboy special for $519.00. The cowboy special only gives you a few choices on stitching and colors for it. That’s why it’s a 10 week wait for the cowboy special. I just received my full custom boots last month and I’ve never had such great fitting boots. I ordered another pair of the specials two weeks after getting my customs. They’re that comfortable. I waited a full 12 months for my customs and it really was worth it. They are incredibly friendly when you call. Good luck!
@@1guarinoLook for the cowboy special which is what the OP is talking about. Choice of two heights, choice of leathers and colors. They make them to the standard size they think will fit you based upon the foam imprint you send them, so not true custom. Those are the ones that start at $700.
So it's work getting them on and off?? Little effort and little bit of effort mean two different things to me.. little effort means it's easy. Little bit of effort means it's a little bit of work.
@@stevemalone6012 ok, I can pop them off easily using my feet with hardly any effort. When putting them on it’s just stepping into them. There’s a nice bit of resistance right before your heel thumps into place. I see my confusing word choice now. Sorry about that.

I bought and returned these boots. The heel is too tall for what they are. They VERY well made with great materials, I could just can't be comfortable with the high heel.
I guess they can send you a free pair of boots but I've been waiting for my order for two weeks as they say they had a security breech hope everyone's credit cards are safe.
Any thoughts on the bench made Basset or Clayton? I’ve been eyeing those. Your channel has revived my love of boots! Just found a saddlery near me that has old new stock Lucchese!
I’m not to much of a fan of round toe, more of a wide square toe boot. But these bench made boots look amazing. Time to save up and break the wallet lol
These are next level from those. These have a better heel counter that feels like leather and much stiffer, better leather overall, better insole and footbed and more comfortable
I would say they brought it pretty well, until I sent a pair of black ostrich stilwells and never received anything back. Weeks later I called to be told they were out of stock and had no idea when or if they have more! To me they dropped the ball big time! Major disappointment.. probably won't be giving ariat any more of my money after wasting my time.

The patriot square toe boots I purchased from them were made in Mexico. Not all of their boots are made in china.
Looks a good looking everyday boot. Like the fact they went for calf skin lining rather than cloth.
