What did you think about the Pagani Hyuara? Did you know that the speedometer dials were made by former Watchmakers? I personally think that the Hyuara is like a highly finished watch with it's use of gold, titanium, and carbon fiber
While I absolutely love RM, I cannot not think that the emperor is naked in this case. I love the watch, it’s one of the coolest new releases, but I refuse to believe that the technology, r&d, production etc make this watch more expensive than a new McLaren 570s. I wonder if he will be able to mantain the hype with his brand in the future, because if the watches were to be sold for intrinsic or horological value I don’t see him doing very well

RM might make some money selling these watches in the Middle-East (mostly the Gulf States I would imagine and Saudi Arabia) -- the billionaires there go for flashy stuff like that.
But, can you tell us something about RM in used market? I might be wrong, but i have the feeling that they are like A380, great but difficult to re-sell (if not impossible). Merci'!!!

Probably better off buying the regular RMs than their collab pieces, as I think those strike a balance between great watches as well as being presented in an exciting way like you mentioned Marc. This one is a bit pushing it and not in a good way.
Good for RM. $200k for this and I assume they get what they ask. If you have $200k to throw away on this, perhaps consider giving it to a worthwhile charity. You’ll get a tax receipt and avoid having to explain the toy watch on your wrist.

I love Richard Mille, but this watch is full of gimmicks. None of the registers are readable, the chronograph hand doesn’t run on the chapter ring half of the time due to the tonneau shape and the case is unnecessarily large if it wasn’t for the trendiness of large watches - just look at the much more complicated yet smaller RM008.
Tesla doesn't have PR department. They spend ZERO on promotion and they believe that their products speak for themselves. Besides, you got free marketing from YT reviewers who will go to great lengths for views anyway. And that model kinda works for Tesla very well.
These watches are an investment it goes up in value. Just like paintings. People are so small minded. When your rich you have lots of money to invest into items. Why ? You ask, park your money let it grow also no tax at the current moment. ( Capital gains is a different story ) don't want to get into that.
Cars & watches combo is getting tiring. It doesn’t hold their value as well as normal watch models. People must really love their cars to get a matching watch. Even Bentley going into furniture is over the top.

I really can't see the point about this RM Watches...........they just look like a Casio G-Shook on steroids ! 200.000, no way.....for a Watch of coal and plastic. LOL STUPID BUYERS........for that I would get 2-3 absolute Dream-Watches from PP or Lange & Sons or a mix of both .....Keeping their worth till the end of time !
