THANKS! I just bought the new one, after owning the "oldie", for a couple years. I'm also looking at the Chauvet DJ Rotosphere Q3. To get all three to work from the remote would be a seriously completed light package, that's extremely mobile! I'll still be using "O" clamps for the Kintas, on my speaker stands.

I have a lot of the old ones. I bought broken on ebay. paid next to nothing for them. They are known for a wire to break that goes to the LED board that spins. I had to find flexible wire to replace the broken wire. now fixed like 5 of these lights. 4 older ones and 2 of the new ones. I have one older one that wasn't repairable. but it came in a lot of 3 broken lights and i paid like 30 dollars shipped for all 3 of them. Had them up and working in no time. the other one has some error message on the display and none of the buttons will work. I don't use them all at the same time. I kept 4 of them for myself. I have two sets of DJ equipment and my older brother also bought DJ equipment so i sold two of the lights to him at cost. I am real thrifty when it comes to my DJ gear. I bought blown speakers and replaced diaphragms in tweeters and replaced voice coils in woofers and what not. Most of my money is in my powered mixer since i don't have powered speakers. I do have some powered sub-woofers I bought cheap as someone burned out the voice coils. I have Peavey pr15 speakers and my brother has a set as well. I also have JBL JRX115 speakers that are heavy. I bought a used pmp1680s, and then the other weak i found a great deal on ebay for a PMH880s that i picked up for 50 dollars shipped. I bought it as untested because my brother also has a PMMH880s and he has some broken EQ sliders and I was going to use it for parts for his. But it came and works without any issue. so now it's my backup powered mixer. I am still on the look out for a parts one to fix the broken sliders and a the few broken knobs my brothers has. I was going to use to switch parts from it then turn around and sell it back on ebay for parts or repair to someone else. It's not the first time I bought something to use for parts to repair something else only to get it and it works. I figure it's good to have back up equipment as it would suck to get to a gig and then find out something is broken.
