Thanks for the info helped me allot...... now I have a question how can i connect 2 kintas fx3's and 2 Rockville Motion strips plus 4 spider moving heads to a Chauvet Dj Obey 40 Dmx 512
You really can't and expect a good result. At this point I would say you would need to look at something like MYDMX to get that done. Those older fader on face consoles are really hard to use especially with movers.
So I bought this for my basement when I have small parties and I noticed it will blind you if it even catches the corner of your eye. Is there a good way to set it up so this doesnt happen
Beware of Chauvet Kinta lights because they have major design flaws. I own a lot of DJ lights and none have failed me except the Chauvet Kinta FX. You will find hundreds if not thousands of people have had the same problems with them, which is normally the LEDs not working. My problems started as soon as I bought it, with loud horrible grinding and whirring noises when you switched it on, probably the fan playing up. Then the blue LED failed to come on properly and shortly after stopped working completely. A lot of people said you have to find the broken wires and solder them, but this is not an easy task. I have done electrics and soldering before, but its too much hassle for me. I emailed a Chauvet technician at the time, but they were unhelpful and didn't seem to care. I love the effects, but I would not recommend this light.
@@edouardmelnikov8497I was looking at buying one of those myself, that's when I found this video of the Kinta FX. I choose not to buy the Kinta HP in the end because of the faults I had on the FX. I don't know if the parts or mechanics inside the light have been improved, so I didn't want to risk it and waste my money. Also to add, someone in the comments was asking about a safety mode for the laser and was told no, but mine has a safety interlock and key on the back. If purchased outside North America it should have this safety feature.
I'm going to get me one !! Thanks for the video
Can you master/slave 2 of these together using only a smx cable? If so, how do you do it?

I have 2 kinta Fx ils but for some reason I can’t run both laser at the same time one only comes up ? Does anyone know why ?

Height, I put them up on a 15 foot stand or as high as possible. they look better as well
Do they come in pair ?
Daaaang! With software & touch screen hot keys, these replace the gigbar or a whole truss full of lights.
For a band with no visuals, what would you suggest I add next to this fixture? Some regular washes?
When you have this on sound mode does the strobe lights work in that mode
I can't get mine to change colors or to sound. It only stays on auto. Any suggestions?
Ya you need to go through the menu and change from the auto setting to either DMX or color mode etc.
Can you pair it to a mini kinta? Also can you use IRC remote demo video
Do you like the effects better on here or the swarm... I just get tired of the moon flower effects
Does it come with a remote or is a remote even necessary for the unit?
Thanks for sharing this!!
I dropped mine and the lens that turns the lasers into designs got lost and now it looks like just dots. Its pretty cheaply made.
Can the pair of lights be linked together?
yes.

Thanks, man. What about Kinta HP? They share the same problem ? I’ve been thinking about getting 2 of those.

Can one be a master slave
Did you ever figure this out?
Kinta FX beams are a "Derby" effect, not a moonflower effect. Moonflower is circular
Hey luke great video, does the Kinta FX have an on/off or safety mode for the laser feature?
There is no interlock override I'm sorry. In the program modes you can take the laser out however.
