Sick vid. I raced 18th scale back in 05’ for couple years. I was hooked on Associated frame and upgrades with The Black Mamba and speed control from Castle Creations. If they still offer the 18t or 18b I’d highly recommend to everyone.
Nice vid. Thinking about getting this. Will probably go with the brushless version like you said (also comes with the tires you described). Good idea on the magnet for the body clips. I watch lots of RC channels and haven’t seen someone do that. Nice track. I like the 1/18 scale vehicles as they’re perfect for backyards. Got the yeti jr can am and ECX roost. Enjoying them.
Thanks for the review man! I'm looking for something in this size.... This little guys just looks like it bounces around too much for my tastes. Not sure if its a 2wd thing or that it's too lightweight.
I haven’t raced in decades but the Mini T 2.0 Brushless is hard to beat not only for the price but also in the 1\18 scale period. The Mini T also has a adjustable slipper clutch that the Teton doesn’t have. Great for fine tuning for track/surface conditions. Not to mention all the other adjustments you can make on the the Mini T that you can’t on the Teton. They are both fun but very different. You almost need one of each haha.
You bet! Those were the only RCs I could compare/owned and raced. Both fun but the Losi may be a bit harder to corner for a beginner than a 4x4 The Teton’s are mad fun and they rip! Thanks for watching!
@@AlexisG73 Awesome. Me too (well I was in atx, just bought a house in Buda). Thinking about doing a backyard track myself for the mini b my friends and I have. I’d love to pick your brain, do’s & don’ts. Etc. etc. Msg me @ FB: Sergio Daub Or IG: Donquipunch Cheers!🍻

Underrated channel! Do you recommend this car for a first “racing” rc? I have a Teton rn but I’ve worn it to the ground.
