Does the water bottle pocket hold that water bottle in securely? Or does it slip out? I’m searching for a backpack that’ll secure my kid’s tall steel water bottle and not let it fly out! :-)
Hi the fabric is waterproof but like almost all rucksacks the seams are not sealed and the zips are not waterproof. So you would describe this rucksack as "showerproof" but if you were caught in a heavy downpour the contents may get a little damp.
Looks functional and minimalistic! It would have been nice if it had zippered side pockets like the Paxat.

Will a 16" fit in the laptop case?
Hi, the laptop sleeve fits a 15" laptop. So you can fit a 16" laptop in the backpack (without the sleeve) but it won't be as well protected as a 15".

I had my drone/camera gear in Lake Tahoe in rains and never had a real issue. The bag is amazing
