Patagonia Baby & Toddler Sun Hats: Range Review
What if the temperature is higher? I cannot change it
Thank you for demonstrating the straw adjustment. I don’t find it intuitive and I’ve been afraid to cut too much. I realize that they provide a measuring thing on the cardboard on which the straws and lid come on, but Hydro Flask should also have a dedicated video short for these instructions for silly people like me - which they don’t seem to have that right now. Thanks again - yours was also the only one that I could find on this specific procedure.
Really helpful thanks
What is the tog rating or season rating on this?
Lol ale you serious hahahahh big patch stick on jacket u calling fixing ? 😢😢😢😢😂😂😂😂
You're smart ...the washing machine would ruin it they don't listen to me
Fantastic review, thank you for this video from NZ :)
Thank you!
this was so helpful for me to share for my boyfriend and his kids who have never skied before! Thank you!
That's great! So happy you found it useful, thank you!
Regards from Mexico City. Great review, thanks Rebecca! Im like 164 👋👋
Thank you!
Thank you! The label said machine wash & I did with trepidation. As you said, thought I had ruined the jacket. Put it in the dryer on low heat & it still had some lumps even after two hours! Maybe I should have dried it a little longer. Now I have to wash a dirty down throw blanket (twin size). I suppose this method will work for that also? I'd like to find that down washer kit. I just put a towel in with the jacket I washed to keep it balanced (top loader).
Genius 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Hi, can we use detergent for wool?
The ones with a lot of volume and air thy will be ruined!!!!
I washed according to instructions. They called for an extra spin. I did that and found that it didn't spin all water out and so jacket was soaked in water for a time. I then dried it and it looks good but maybe not as bulky. Did this ruin my jacket?
Hi, sounds like you did fine. I don't think leaving it in the water for a while would have done any damage. If the fill isn't 100% where you want it keep shaking the jacket out and you may find there is still a bit more drying out to be done.
Thank you for sharing.
No worries!
hi thanks for the video, is the sole really stiff or have some giving in order to bend the foot?
Is Perrier water Ik ?
Hello , I have a Deuter Starlight pro and I know that it does not have an official temperature rating but still , is it possible to give a rough number to it? the reason i ask is, this will help my decision of buying another sleeping bag (which is lighter) but still have the insulation equivalent to the deuter starlight pro.
Hi, we would rate this sleeping bag as a solid 3 season bag for UK conditions. As you know Deuter don't give a temp range for their kids' bags. There's another sleeping bag we stock which is not as good quality as the Deuter and this bag is given a temp range (which should not be taken to literally but gives you an idea) Max +20 to min (comfort level) +4 Celsius. Hope this helps.
Excellent review 👏
Thank you so much!
What are the buckles attached to the sides of the cockpit bar?
Did you wash the jacket on hot or cold water ?
She said cool water temp. Low heat for the dryer.
WASTED MY FUGINN TIME
Thanks for the video quite useful and to the point. I wonder what if baby isn’t with you, can you still take it to the plane? Probably yes?
I mean instead of the cabin suitcase for example
@@ChamMoradi Hi, thanks for your feedback. I'm not sure the airline would accept this as cabin luggage if you didn't have a child with you, I suspect it would have to go in the hold... worth checking with the airline.
@@LittleAdventureShop thanks for the reply, yeah it was way above their allowed dimensions (Norwegian, I think it is the case for all known airlines). I ended up buying Poco LT (thanks for the review on this too!), seems like it serves the purpose while can be taken to the cabin without child being around (hopefully)
Is it dishwasher safe?
Seems pretty big for 12-18 months
i make sure to wear the socks so it gives in a nice scent and keeps my hands smelling like my smelly feet
How long wqs the wash cycle?
Love the Orange colour.
Agreed!
Can I use Train Run and Summit? I like the cute model
I'm confused about choosing Deuter Junior or Deuter Kikki for trail runs and summits because the two models I like are really cute
Thanks a lot for the informative video! I bought this after watching your review as a daypack/work bag cos I just find the features so practical! I own a Daylite tote and this one is like its 2.0 version! I figured I can use the changing mat as a bum protection when sitting out on a cold bench during the winter haha. The long horizontal strap can also be used to prop the bag up on a luggage handle and the pram straps can be used for securing a yoga mat! Very versatile.
What is your height?
167cm
Hi! I know the carrier is supposed to sit on your hips but when I did that, it dug into my back like right above my butt. Do you think I have it too high or low? I have wide hips for my body and feel like my butt would get in the way if I put it any lower
Hi, sounds like you probably don't want to go any lower. Sometimes we find that the Deuter range fit women with wider hips better than the Osprey carriers.
Thanks for that explanation
You're welcome
What does the small compartment look like? Does that go all the way down to the bottom of the bag? How would you compare this vs. the Parsec 26? My wife and I have a toddler (3.5M) and are expecting baby #2, so we’re looking for a day bag for not only baby changing items, but also things for the toddler such as extra clothes, snacks, etc., and would like some flexibility after the baby stage. We already have a smaller sized diaper bag (20L) for essentials/short trips around town to the grocery store or playground/park, but wanted something for slightly longer outings or day trips.
Hi, I think your asking about the front compartment - 4mins 20secs - the lower one goes all the way to the bottom of the bag. Sorry, we're not familiar with the Parsec 26, however I think this bag is really versatile. The baby specific stuff is great and really handy but the rest of the bag isn't compromised by it, so it will still be very useful once you're out of the full on baby stage.
@@LittleAdventureShop I'm referring to the other set of zippers between the front compartment and the main compartment, presumably for a second inner compartment. On the Osprey website, it looks like there's a smaller compartment that has some stretch elastic pockets for carrying snacks. I'm curious how big that compartment is.
Great tips
Thank you!
How about those who don’t have/use tumble dryer after washing their clothes in the washing machine?
Hi, you can air dry it. It will take quite a while though (days). I would let your jacket drip dry from a hanger and then in a couple of times a day redistribute the down by giving it a good shake. As it gets dryer you'll probably want to shake the down around more regularly to break up the clumps of down. This method does work it just takes time a bit of persistence...

What to use if you do not have tennis balls
Great review, thank you!
Thank you!
Nice review. Very helpful. Not sure about that little mirror though. Better make sure the sun is not behind you as you might hurt your child’s eyes with the sunlight reflecting in their face. Think I would use the front facing camera on my phone instead.
You also get a mirror in the side pocket with the Pro!
I accidently came across the deuter and had been leaning toward the poco. But it was cheaper than buying the poco because it was on sale. I'm SO happy I got the kid comfort. My sons comfort was my main reasoning for picking (aside from the discount), and mine says it's this style, but it does have a built-in sunshade, I believe. I'll double-check it. The deuter is definitely the most comfortable baby pack I've had.
I love that!
Cool idea! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! No worries!
I was actually looking at the Osprey Poco (I saw your review and LOVED it!) But when I got to the store this was on sale for only $200! We test "drove" it around the store and I ended up buying it. I never even got to try the Osprey. So now here I am binge watching your videos about this! Lol I already know it's a wonderful fit compared to what I have been using.
Brilliant thanks. I have the exact product you are using 🙂
That's great!
Off to Cyprus in September with jet2 and a 9 month old and planning on taking the osprey poco on the flight. Great video and answerd my questions. Time to get the bag I think. 😁 Thankyou
We hope you have a great holiday! Happy we could help.
Thanks for the video, do you think this can hold a 13 inch iPad in the water compartment?

03:20 Do pouring water into the boot, and rinsing out by hand really clean the inside of the boot? I mean is that enough cleaning for the inside?
