Best explaination so far, now I have to just find the 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. All I’ve seen is kits that have the stepped pins included. I already have a set of those
Thanks, most dealers really don't understand how a quick hitch works. If they do they probably would sell you overpriced bushings from the implement manufacturer.
My thoughts on the lower bushings are just for additional adaptation to implement hitches that are not exact cat 1 width dimensions or pin size. Whether it be internal or external lower pin mounts. And with the shoulder no need to worry about snagging the lynchpin when hooking up. Also it’s easier to bush up than change pins to get to correct size.
The cat 1-2 and 2-3 bushing can be purchased at your dealer. TSC has them but they will be more. The Cat 1-3 bushings I got from nothern tool. They were the cheapest at the time.
Like already stated, my dealer didn't show me anything! Do I need a top link bushing for my I-Match? Is so what size? I have a 1025r. Thanks for the video. Very informative!
Yes, you need top link bushings and lift arms bushings for each implement. You need bushings from cat 1 to cat 3. They are hard to find and expensive. So I use cat 1 to 2 and cat 2 to 3 bushings.
You are the first person I know of that actually slid a cat 1 to cat 2 bushing inside a cat 2 to 3 bushing. I looked and looked and tried that at tractor supply the cat 1 to 2 bushing would not fit inside the cat 2 to 3. I had to put 2 thin sleeves I cut out of thin wall pipe and pressed it in the inside of the cat 2 to 3 bushing to make it fit tight on my pins and fit tight in my land pride quick hitch. I have to move the 2 bushings i made from my finish mower to my box blade every time I change implements wonder where I could find the brand bushings you have.
They probably had the bushings in the wrong spot at tractor supply. Check with a local tractor dealer. The bushings should be cheaper there too. Some of my bushings are Speeco and other are Tisco. I would not be surprised if the same company does not make them for everyone.
I went back and actually found the cat 1-2 that slid into the cat 2-3. The 1-2 was a different size than before maybe the difference being lift pin verses top link not sure but I did find them. Brand was county line around 2.99
Hi, good information with specific examples. I need to remove my cat 1 to cat 3 bushings that are shown at @2 min in the video. Any suggestions? (Lol, this is because my original "Quick Hitch" was labeled cat 1 and really was cat 3 size; also, as typical, it was not that good attaching to different top-pins on different implements. So, I've switched to the "Pat's Quick Bottom-Hitch" that is a cat 1 . Appreciate any advice for taking off the bushings. Thank you.
Geeeez . . . this is all so stupid. I'm doing research and learning before buying my first compact tractor. The WHOLE POINT of tractors is to use one machine to attach a bunch of different implements. That attachment system should be universal and all the same. What the heck is wrong with industrial engineers?!? It doesn't need to be this way.
Again, an interesting and informative video! Thank you!! Keep up the good work! Be safe and God bless you and your family!!!!
Thanks Ray! I am glad you found the video informative. God Bless you too!
I've learned more from this 3 minute of video than the last 3 months of bushing research. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Any tractor dealer or farm store will have the 1-2 and 2-3 bushings.
This is hands-down the best video I've seen about quick hitch bushings and showing different implements. Thank you!
Thanks! I put a lot of thought into this video.
Thanks for providing much-needed information. My dealer neglected to show me how to connect my implements to the iMatch quick hitch.

Bullitt, Good explanation about various bushings, and ways to fit Cat 1 implements onto Cat 2/Cat 3 QHs. Thanks; keep on making them.
Thanks man!!

They probably were most worried about someone knocking a lych pin off while hooking up.
Thank you for making this video and discussing the variable sizes of the bushings we need to use! I LIKE your video, Watching and Supporting!
Your welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Great video! I have a Land Pride QH15 and need those bushings. Where did you get all your bushings?

Great information, thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Thanks Ken! I just changed my channel name. It was 94BULLITT, you may remember me from TBN.
Tractor Tech ah yes, I knew I’ve seen that orange iMatch before LOL

You will need a punch that is close to the size of the roll pin and you will have to hammer it out.
Do they make a quick hitch that is category 1 on tractor end but is big enough to accommodate the pins for a category 2 pin on the implement end
Not that I am away of.
@@TractorTech
Damn that sucks thanks though
How can you remove that pin in the quick hitch bushing? Bought an implement with the bushings and i want to remove! Cant figure it out
Use a punch that fits the hole in the bushing tightly.
@@TractorTech thank you very much!
Your welcome!
Thanks for your help.
Your welcome!
What are your hinged units called?
lynch pins
Excellant video!
Thank you!
what is the purpose of making the quick hitch with larger size hooks to need the cat 3 bushings?
I guess they do that so they can sell you bushings.
well done good info. thanks
Thank you!
