Hi Jeff I really love your videos. What camera mount system do you use for your over the shoulder camera angle ? Think that it would be fun to try for hunting and hiking . Thanks . Good luck finding that 200 pounder this year !
That’s frustrating. It impresses the hell out of me that the buck just keeps cranking along as multiple hunters are tracking him and he might well just keep steaming ahead losing them all at night fall. Hopefully it’s just the lack of snow that emphasizes the high hunter low deer density in a small area.
Sorry bud, batteries ran out mid sentence. Too much filming that day…. I never posted last season but it was a good hunt with a few good tips so I decided to share.
That is some thick country, tough walking for sure!
Been hunting for 37 yrs. still impressed by dedication in some trackers. Never did it myself but know what still hunting does to me.
I’ll bet you learn a ton about the deer while tracking. Probably an invaluable resource.
always injoye watching u do your thing and working that bush awesome can't wait till the next one good luck 👍
My goodness….lots of hunting pressure for that one deer!!!!
That was late Nov and I’m used to them slowing down but not him, I think he toasted us all that day.
Damn good effort Jeff, seems to have high pressure on those roads. Good luck happy thanksgiving
Holy cow you went to Allagash just to find snow. Keep at it still can’t believe there would be snow but Allagash is pretty far north.

Hey I made a video that shows the mount but have since switched to the STAGR track pack, it’s a nice ready to go package
I guess it's better to have hunters jump in front of you after 8 miles than 11 miles. Hopefully you catch up to him. Keep up the good work!
And lol the suspense is killing me lol
Surprised how many hunters there were in that area. Must have been due to everyone knowing it was the only area with snow.

Any suggestions on food and drink to maintain your stamina
Water, honey stingers and cliff bars
I used to bring candy but have since switched to lower glycemic foods like granola bars.
Bummer!!
I seen you got a nice one, seen a picture of him on Facebook. Rattled him out
Thanks, hope to have it out soon.
Gotcha this is last November 2020
What year was this filmed? I wish the snow would hurry up lol
This was 2020, as I started editing this years footage realized I had a ton of footage from last season and like everyone else wishing for snow.
@@jeff_doyle best of luck with these last few weeks we have!
Are people still seeing rut behavior in NH? Gone cold around me the past week
Did this video end suddenly, or is there something wrong with my laptop?

That crunchy ass shit won't get in a country fkn mile of that buck....
Sometimes they just lay down because they are tired. Hal blood shows a great video of Maine big woods buck doing it.
Sometimes you just have to get lucky, new film coming out was on crunchy snow.
