This is the best sling video I have seen. I have a ring sling and just ordered a moby. I'm so glad I saw your video because I now have complete confidence that I can make it work.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!! :) I really didn't think the instruction manual was all that informative when it comes to actually putting the baby in it! I'm going to go practice right now.
Perfect explanation. Your little baby is so adorable. I was also afraid to use my Moby (all that fabric was a little intimidating). I'm 5'2" and my baby is 16lbs at 3 months and we had no problem with the Moby after watching your video. I made sure that I had just fed my baby and he was in good spirits. He smiled at me upon finishing the wrap and snuggled in for a nice nap. Love it! Many thanks.
Just wanted to say thank you for your Moby wrap video. I am due in January, and I know I will love this wrap....what a great invention! Thanks again for taking the time to make this video!
This was SUPER duper helpful! Ive wanted a moby wrap forever..My mom got me one for my shower and i have been totally LOST with all the material. My son is now 7 weeks, and after seeing this video, i can FINALLY use it! Thank you so much!
Oh my god! I sold my wrap because I couldn't figure it out. I should've watched this video. This is the best explanation I have ever seen. Fantastic job.
That's great! I have a two year old and am due in two months. I just ordered this exact one. Thanks for the simple demonstration! Really helps with understanding how it works. :)
I chuckled when I saw how calm and cooperative your baby was being for you! So jealous, as none of mine have ever been that quiet when wide awake! The video was very helpful in showing me how to handle all 25 feet of this contraption! I will now be able to use it instead of fight with it! :)
That was the coolest thing!!! I wish I'd had this when my children were babies, I used the old sling which was very little help. So neat, thanks for the demo!!
Great video. I got my Moby two years ago, and had a hard time finding instructions. I am giving a wrap (not Moby brand but similar) as a gift to a friend now, and this is great. She can watch all the videos she wants to to figure out how to use it.
I logged in just to like this video. Your instructions are very clear! I can't wait to have kids so someday I will be able to use this! It looks so comfortable! Hope your 3 little kids are doing well :)
You're video inspired me to go ahead and buy one. I purchased one today adn because I watched your instructions beforehand I felt I did pretty good. My son slept wonderfully today and I was able to get some cleaning done.
good video..thanks for sharing ! good refresher for my wife. I bought her one, at first it was too complicated for her to use....but now that our son is almost 4 months old, this is a necessity. That, or nothing gets done in the house. Thanks again !!!
I can't thank you enough for putting up this video. I was following the moby wrap imtructional video and that was terrible yours is so much better. I tried putting my baby in with the imtructional video and he cried like hell and now when I did it with yours he loves it and he fell off to sleep within minutes. Thanks a bunch. Huggsss!!!!
Great video. I saw the vid on the site and I was totally sold, but your video really explains things a lot better... Absolutely adorable how cuddled up your little on is, she looks like she really likes it!
Thank you so much! I traded in my crotchdangler for a Moby when I found out the crotch danglers are bad for baby's spine. She loved the pouch and so did I, so I thought the Moby would be great. I spent three awkward days fumbling with the Moby and my 2 month old and had just about decided to take it back. The instruction book is confusing. I knew I was missing a step, but didn't know what. Not folding it or bunching it seems to be the key. She's happy and now my back feels better. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! Last time around I didn't baby wear very often at all so I never bought a Moby. This time around we're using a convertible car seat from birth, so baby wearing is a must!!
I just got my Moby Wrap yesterday and have been practicing. It's a little tough with my huge nine month pregnant belly but I'm getting the hang of it! Great video! Your baby looks so cute all bundled up! hehe!
Great video! Wraps for me were scary at the first place, but once you learn how to use them, it gets preatty easy. Now I do many things with my baby in it. Including to play videogames!
This has been very useful to me. Im a new Moby Wrap wearer also and was confused with the manual but i know what im doing now :) I Have 3 boys and my little girl is 6 wks old all my kids are under 5 so i think this wrap will be awesome for me. Thank you for posting. Helped alot.
I wish I would have known about this sling for my last child. I cant wait to try it when I have my new baby. Thanks for the instructional video it is really helpful.
Sorry, I posted under my mom's account. Now I'm in under me. Here was my reply: WOW You should do infomercials! You did a fantastic job of showing your friend how to use the Moby Wrap! I just ordered one and cannot wait to get it!! You seem like such a great friend and your daughter is oh my gosh ADORABLE!!! She seems real laid back like my daughter is too.
Thanks for the great video. I actually have a Sleepy Wrap brand of wrap but the method is the same and my son loves to be held and cuddled 24/7 so it's great for us...I just wanted to comment and say that your daughter is adorable, and *really* loves those rings lol.
Great video! I'm 20 wks and am wanting one of these for my baby. It just looks a little more secure then the others I've seen. I just have to say though that the baby looks HUGE!! LOL....totally cute!
Thank you sooo much. I watched a video where they had me fold the moby wrap so I had pockets on each side. However my son loves the hold you had your baby in and with the pockets the way they were it was hard to strech the fabric across his little butt. So I am going to try this tonight when we go on our walk.
Yeah - although I know people who use the folding method, I definitely prefer it not folded, and find that the baby is much more secure that way. Glad it helped! :)
Yes, I definitely used it for my newborns! I think I started using it around 1 month, actually. And yes, the part that you pull up at the end is the "outer layer". It just holds everything in tightly together. But I'm not sure what you mean about "keeping it folded". There are other ways of wrapping the Moby where you "fold" it, but I don't do that.
thank you for this..... I am having my second baby in January as well as the poster below and I want to get a carrier or wrap of some sort ( i didn't have one with the first baby) I may just get a moby it looks really easy.... I hope! - PS your baby is adorable
I love your video! I'm making these baby wraps right now for like half the price and really need to have a video of how to put it on any don't want to make one of me doing it! Would you mind if I sent them to you video!? My baby loves them so much! I was working at a sale for 12 hours a day for 3 days in a row with her in it like the whole time! My back did not hurt but everything eles did! People were shocked how good she was and how my back did not hurt!
Now if only I had seen this video a year and a half ago, my Moby wouldn't be lost in my room somewhere. I'm going to make this a favorite just in case I have another one and find my Moby. I really want to try it.
This is a great video, my little one and I are traveling for the holidays I was looking for something easy to carry him in my only concern is his weight he is 20 lb.
Thank you! This is clearer than the video on Moby's own website. i hope they're giving you a percentage. My baby loves our Moby once she's in it, but she's squirmier than your baby before she gets in it. Any tips on winning the wrestling match to get kicking legs through? Also, any tips on switching to nursing hold? (Which I'm finding difficult once my darling's hungry and extra-squirmy.)
@reneeber OK thanks! :) I saw a lady with her baby facing out at a store yesterday and had never seen that in a Moby. The sides of her wrap were open though and I would prefer to have that horizontal piece to close the sides in as shown her - LO is very busy!
very interesting video....although i want to ask, how difficult is it to pull your baby out of the wrap? how long does it take and dont you have to do it one step at a time etc?
What a fantastic Video! I had never heard of the moby wrap, I had just gotten a pattern to make one. Just a question, I have a seven month old, going on eight. Do you think she will fit? My sister is pregnant so I think I might make her one also, she will love it. Thanks again!
Thanks for the demonstration! I just ordered one yesterday and I am super excited to try it out. I have a quick question, though. I had read that it works well for larger people, because of how long it is. But it looked like even you didn't have much fabric left -- and you're MUCH smaller than me! Does it stretch more than it had to in this video?
I am going to look into this one. It looks very comfortable. Can it be worn on the back too and does it strain your back? My son weighs 15 pounds and boy is it a pain.:/
I see that you have the Moby D. Looks like the woven cotton center? I was trying to decide between that one and the microfiber...would you know the difference in how they are/ or have a recommendation? Thanks.
I love this video! I have a question, is the type of fabric just called Moby or do you have to order that type of wrap? I want to use one for my daughter because she does not like to be put down. I was on babycenter and some of the ladies said that they got their fabric from wal-mart and if that's the case then I'll be on my way there! Thank you!
If it feels too tight when you put the baby's head into it, you may have wrapped it a bit too tightly. However, most babies really like it to be tighter than we'd imagine. What feels claustrophobic to us is generally what they like, especially when they're very small; makes them feel safe. :)
I'm soon to be a great-grandmother and I can't imagine having to go to all this trouble just to carry your baby around. It seems like something you could easily do without just as we did with our babies.
@Welshstar1986 just wondering are you trying to stay calm and not stress as you're putting baby in. Babies feel vibes off you and if you stress while placing them they might be getting fussy from that. Just trying to help
How old is your baby in this? I am considering (really considering) one of these wraps, but my bubba is 6 months old. He's getting to that 'want to be held all the time' stage, and I get sore arms! :P
This video SAVED us when our daughter arrived and we couldn't figure out our Moby for the life of us. Thank you!
This is the best sling video I have seen. I have a ring sling and just ordered a moby. I'm so glad I saw your video because I now have complete confidence that I can make it work.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!! :)
I really didn't think the instruction manual was all that informative when it comes to actually putting the baby in it! I'm going to go practice right now.
I love how your baby immediately calms down when you put her in the wrap. You can tell she likes it.

Thank you for this, so easy to understand and your cameraman did a great job of staying with the baby! Adorable kid btw! :) Can't wait to use my Moby!
That's great! I have a two year old and am due in two months. I just ordered this exact one. Thanks for the simple demonstration! Really helps with understanding how it works. :)

This is a wonderful tutorial video! I love the Moby wrap and recently gave one to my friend at her baby shower. :)

This baby is so freakin cute! What a great little model :) looks like a good product
This video was so helpful! It actually made me buy the Moby wrap. Thanks for making it!
I wish I would have known about this sling for my last child. I cant wait to try it when I have my new baby. Thanks for the instructional video it is really helpful.
Now, everytime I get my wrap on I think to myself "now I look like Obi one Kanobi" haha. Great demo!

Awesome. Thanks so much for posting this. I just put my newborn in and she loves it (and so do I)
The instructions had me folding the center part in half and I like how you leave it wide...will try it your way! Thx
Great video! I'm 20 wks and am wanting one of these for my baby. It just looks a little more secure then the others I've seen. I just have to say though that the baby looks HUGE!! LOL....totally cute!
Thank you! I have the moby wrap because the bjorn hurts my back...but I had trouble getting my month old baby in it comfortably.
Thank you sooo much. I watched a video where they had me fold the moby wrap so I had pockets on each side. thanks for posting this. i just found out what a moby is.i'm buying one on craigslist for only $20. your baby is so cute and calm!
Thanks - you just helped my daughter stop crying!
Thank you! I'm expecting in 2.5 months and I think this will be very helpful. I read the directions, but it's much better to SEE it being done.
LOVE your wrap ! its beautiful!
Thanks for sharing this! Very helpful.
What a cute baby you have :)
Wow, Moby Wraps should pay you for this video! I'm sold, buying mine online in a few!

Thank you this helped my husband and I big time!!
Wow... awesome video!! Thanks for sharing!

I did it in one shot!!!! Thank you so much for the video.
Thanks for posting this! It REALLY helps!!!
Thank you! I was afraid to use this and had bruises from standard carriers, thus is comfortable and baby likes it too!
thank you for this..... I am having my second baby in January as well as the poster below and I want to get a carrier or wrap of some sort ( i didn't have one with the first baby) I may just get a moby it looks really easy.... I hope! - PS your baby is adorable
Do you ever nurse her in it? Can you do a video? Yours has been the most helpful of em all. Thank you
Thanks a lot, gonna go try it now, just got my moby. She's adorable by the way!
I love your video! I'm making these baby wraps right now for like half the price and really need to have a video of how to put it on any don't want to make one of me doing it! great video!
I am going to look into this one. It looks very comfortable. Can it be worn on the back too and does it strain your back? My son weighs 15 pounds and boy is it a pain.:/

Thank you. Very helpful.
Ahh, that makes sense! Thank you!
Can this hold a 15 month hold, that same way you put her in?
thank you very much , that is gonna help me a lot
Very very helpful! Thank you. :-)

Thanks for making this, reneeber! I'll do a much better job than I would have, using just the manual's instructions.
Thank you so much!
God Bless you!
OMG thank you so much!
Aww lol s/he looks squished in. XD
Could I face her out with this same tie?
