My brother recorded a video of Josh saying happy birthday to me at Oshkosh 2023! That was the highlight of the day! Besides the hornet demo. But both were a great addition to Oshkosh and will stay with me for the rest of my life!

6:57 The cool thing about this is that you get to (not only fly but) wear the toy. There is nothing like getting to strap a good-airworthy-toy around oneself and making the 2 go into a 3 (dimension-wise)!
I live across the lake and at night when they do the wall of flames, the whole sky lights up! It's genuinely an amazing experience both across the lake and there in oshkosh.
I feel very lucky that I was there when they had the air national guard presentation. When that f35 flew over and all the explosions went off it absolutely started me. I am from the Madison area and I work at the airport so I get to see the f35s take off every day and it never gets old
Oh man, seeing Pioneer Field again is a trip. I was with the EAA Young Eagles program for a couple years like 22 years ago, and the groups got to fly models on that very spot. I've taken off and landed on that strip a few times in full-sized aircraft too. Great place for aviation.

I realy love the content of flite test but i realy wished there were more innovative rc hobby projects and testes just as in the olden golden days of flite test as David Windestal tried cazy yet by far the most interesting and applicable ideas i mean E-edf jet with the after burner that was just insanely cool and a neat set up still keep up the good work
Life's good... stay out of small aircraft. You'll live longer and continue doing what you love, making great content along the way... but if you get the chance to ride in an F-18 or something similar, go for it. Keep on living the dream, brother.
Question: can 2 short wings create as much lift and control surface as one standard wing? Why aren’t Navy Jets using the short wings instead of the long wings. Current runways could handle larger jets without widening them... just wondering...
Hi, i am currently building my first large rc plane and was wondering what size motor, edf, and servo size id need. The plane weighs roughly 5-10(at max)lbs and has a wingspan of 6'. It is an a10 so the edfs are loaded aft of the wings. Anything helps as i am still somewhat new to this!!
So most every car driver uses about twice that explosion every year. So think about everyone who drives setting off two of the explosions each year, and then tell me we don't have anything to do with global warming.
What do you call a Nascar race? Or snowmobiling for a hobby? This is a group of pilots that come together to enjoy their hobby together - for most of them, this is their life and livelihood. Easy to see where you're coming from as this is "unnecessary" if you don't look at the bigger picture that this kind of event grows the enthusiasm of flight, drives learning and innovation, and just generally makes people happy.
