I'm 71, O+ blood. I eat one meal a day and it has to be meat, fish or chicken with a few vegetables. I swim daily which makes me happy. People say I look 45. I love your attitude.
As a herbalist I studied the effect of diet on all the blood types.I discovered that people with O blood type like me needed meat to combat fatigue,anemia,...
This explains why I didn't thrive on a vegan diet. I was so low on iron, b12, potassium, etc. My high blood pressure was due to my body missing out on high quality meat. I went back to meat and no issues now
I’m an O negative. I was a vegetarian for over 20 years and was often anemic. I got so weak a doctor told me to eat meat again. The first time I ate a steak 🥩 I felt like every cell in my body was craving it. I started feeling better. I eat mostly vegetables and fruit and nuts but eat meat every week a few times. You reminded me… I should eat it more.
Me too.. 7 years vegetarian. Training for a 12km swim. 6000 m a day. Felt so gross, went screaming into White Spot. “ Bring me a legendary platter right now!” Felt exactly what you described. My cells just absorbed every calorie! I laugh at the waitress going into the back telling the cook of this poor wretched vegetarian needing some meat!
I am 76 and O-. My husband was A+ and a vegetarian when we married 53 years ago. He died three years ago and was on a pharmacy diet. I never needed pharmacy drugs. primarily on a vegetarian diet I ‘needed’ to go to our local diner at lunch by myself and order liver and onions every three months or so. I also like my red meat ‘lightly’ cooked. And I don’t like any pork products. So I naturally drifted to a diet that is comparable to white energized me personally.
41yo O- male here, hunter, fisherman, farmer, ranch hand, I AGREE and this is confirmation to my favorite way of eating, protien rich animal fats and meats, make me feel right, strong 💪
Im O- as well. I was raised on a “heavily vegetarian” diet, and had auto-immune issues my whole life. Not only was I severely underweight, I also had chronic anemia, Crohns disease, and organ failure (which resulted in the need for 2 separate transplants.) A couple of years ago a friend put me onto the “carnivore diet.” It has been a literal LIFE changer. I dont follow a strict carnivore regimen - I eat mostly grass-fed/grass finished beef, fish, and dark leafy greens. (I do eat occasional fruits and veggies as well, but omit ALL seeds from them.). This is the first time in my 40 years that Ive been completely symptom free, and auto-immune issues are finally in remission. After spending 25+ years in the hospital, no one will ever be able to convince me that a high protein/healthy fats diet is bad. At least not for my body & blood type!
I am almost 64. Type O+. I eat as much meat as possible. Low carb/keto. Intermittent fasting everyday! My weight and BP are as good as ever. No meds. Love your style!
Same for me. I am 63. No pain whatsoever. I run up and down the stairs many times a day. Very agile. I slow cook my meat. Seems to make a big difference.
@@PradeepKumar-po1ziwhat you do in intermittent fasting is to only eat within a time range. You can do it every day or according to some other time frame. I have been doing intermittent fasting for many years. I only eat from 12.00 noon until 8.00 pm. Before and after this time frame, I only drink water, and in the mornings, coffee and tea. I rarely fall sick.
Lutefisk- me too. O neg rh. Full Norwegian descent. Do better w meat- small portions, but love my chicken and salmon , veggies but no lutefisk- just a shot of aquavit 😄
@@lindalamb7512 one of the things I want to experiment with is "Stockfisk pemmican" dried cod fillets, mixed with a fat of some kind in similar proportions to red meat types of pemmican. Because I have a working theory about the kinds of foods Viking age Sailors would have eaten while at sea on longer term voyages. I don't think they cooked or for that matter fasted, I think they had prepared meals and rations on board which could be consumed even while in the grip of a north sea storm. Compact, basically waterproof, and won't spoil. Talk about a competitive advantage.
I just found out today that I am a 0 negative (from German decent) I was a vegan for almost 5 years, it was actually not great (just the part about not eating dairy was beneficial). For the whole last month I went Carnivore, it was great, the dairy was not the best but in general I felt better than on the vegan diet.
Yes, intermittent fasting, red meat every day, and low carb does me well. I do eat dairy and do fine on it for now. May eliminate or at least refine my diet as I go.
So glad I found this. My husband is O blood type and he’s been having massive digestive issues. They started after he started joining me in a plant-based and low carb diet, which I am doing for my diabetes. His acid reflux has been through the roof. Some random TikToker said going to a vegan diet made them really sick. I found your video after I realized I needed to research more.
How the hell does one “do” a low-carb plant-based diet. You’re either talking out of the end of your arse or you just absolutely know nothing about vegan vegetarian diet in relation to carbs. It is an absolute impossibility to go low carb on a vegan vegetarian diet. Oh wait, What do I know? 64-year-old I’ve been vegan vegetarian for 40 years plus I have a BS degree in Biology & Nutritive Sciences UIC, ‘83 & an RD.
Most of the vegans in my family went back to eating meat for health reasons. We must investigate and understand science and not follow trends because they sound nice.
I came across that book back in 2007. And cut out half the things not meant for an O+ blood type, even down to the condiments. What i noticed is that i was able to not only lose weight but maintain a healthy weight. I also cured myself of contant heartburn. This book and diet is the truth! I actually don't miss the items I had eliminated from my diet. I do cheat occasionally but live by this diet 80 percent of the time. If you haven't read it, please do. It's a must read book.
You waisted your money. Researchers from the University of Toronto (U of T) have found that the theory behind the popular blood type diet--which claims an individual's nutritional needs vary by blood type--is not valid. The findings are published this week in PLoS One. "Based on the data of 1,455 study participants, we found no evidence to support the 'blood-type' diet theory," said the senior author of the study, Dr. Ahmed El-Sohemy, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Nutrigenomics at the U of T. "The way an individual responds to any one of these diets has absolutely nothing to do with their blood type and has everything to do with their ability to stick to a sensible vegetarian or low-carbohydrate diet," said El-Sohemy.
We should all be eating healthy and intermittent fasting at least once a week. And try not to over eat. Once you’re full, get up and leave the table. I learned that from my father in-law. He maintained 165 lbs almost all his life. I try to keep at under 120-125 by eating healthy foods shown here.. that’s most Trini’s foods consist of. Healthy foods🥰
@@GeneticsLessons The studies I've seen are flawed because they're not looking for certain outcomes, only for cholesterol levels and so on. I have Blood Type O+. Just explain to me why I, a vegetarian-turned-pescatarian for over three decades, was getting sicker and sicker with constant, unremitting heartburn, retaining fluid in my feet and lower legs (with the accompanying inflammation of my lower legs,) very painful knees almost all the time, and worrisome skin discolorations such as red blotches and bruised-looking areas? Instead of walking up the stairs, I was dragging myself upstairs by the railing because my knees hurt so much and my legs felt so heavy. I was nearly 70 years old and increasingly concerned about my health. Then, I ate beef one evening so as not to hurt the feelings of the people who brought it to me - and that night and the next morning I had no heartburn for the first time in 15 years. I was bewildered and did online research, coming across the correct diet for Blood Type O (according to this "theory,") and I changed my diet that very day. Five days later I noticed to my shock that my knees didn't hurt at all. Within a week the fluid retention issue had greatly improved and my legs looked pink, not red. Now, almost three months into the diet for my blood type, the water retention is nearly gone and my skin looks normal, AND I haven't had heartburn since that first evening I ate the beef so as not to hurt my guests. Also, I walk up my stairs like a normal human being again. EXPLAIN IT.
@@Constance8722 It has nothing to do with your Blood type, the reason for your bad health was "vegetarian-turned" lifestyle. And you felt better after eating beaf - It has nothing to do with your blood type.
See...this is why you dont force diets on anyone. Everyone is different. No two metabolisms are the same. It is unfair to frown at a person for eating animal protein. The two sources of food as we have all been taught, are plants and animals. Now, i understand why i have always loved liver, kidneys, and gizzards! It all makes sense now. I'm O+. Although I have had to reduce beef a bit, because of health. I still eat fish, seafood, snails, poultry, goat, and animal innards. If i can afford it, i am eating it happily. Health is wealth and life is for living.
I'm O Negative. I suffered from Cluster Headaches for decades until I started the BTD - I stopped eating all Wheats/Grains and started eating Beef/Liver. I never felt better. I'm 67 y.o. I now believe most ailments are due to diet.
I read the book eat right for your blood type in the early 90tys and will say it cleared up my health problems , which were brain tumors ,arthritis ,prostate cancer , low energy now all changed at 81 better than any point in my life , we are what we eat not what we pray too 🙏 😌 😢 😞 😔 💔
I literally gave the side Eye 👀and said I don’t know God but u got to help me with this one right here…. that’s one of my healthy fats plus I got a big bottle of pear oil🤔
@@denmar355 Have you gone to a natural path to see your blood cells for yourself? I thought I was eating healthy and I was running off a cliff and didn't even know it. Pork was killing me. It is actually poison for O people and that was true for me. Not to mention I have had no allergy symptoms this past Spring since being on the diet. Not to mention I am off all medications since being on the diet.
I've done the eat right for your type diet for 20 years now. It changed my life. I thought I was going to die in my 20's. Once I made this change, my issues started fading away. I keep a card in my wallet with beneficial and neutral foods on it to reference when at the store.
I tried a whole food vegan diet. Got really fat, had bad anemia and was really weak and depressed. Did take supplements but they were not helping. Had very low ferritin levels. After giving birth had to have an iron transfusion. Now I am doing low carb/keto. Weight is going down , I feel better. I am Blood Type 0+. Eating lots of meat now.
Great to find someone sharing this. I read the blood type book many years ago. It wasn't until late 2019 when I discovered the keto diet that I got good results with it. I had a near fatal auto accident when I was 23 in 1990. I was in a coma for two weeks and had to learn how to do everything again. I've struggled all my adult life with the pain from the orthopedic injuries and a slowed metabolism. A short time after starting keto my inflammation went down and I could walk straighter. Once I cut my carbs down to about 20 grams per day, my body told me what I needed... not clouded by the deception of the carbs. I craved beef. I became more of a ketovore. My limp in my hip that I had for over 30 years was gone within two weeks. The first time that I saw my dentist after starting keto, he commented that my TMJ was gone. I started intermittent fasting because eating nutrient dense food and fat naturally lessened my appetite. Unfortunately I was knocked down onto a piece of slate in July 2021 and had the top of my femur broken off... and I had an ankle replacement in December 2021. My mobility was limited and my eating habits changed. And, I'm now post menopause. So, I'm working to get back into the routine that helped me so much. In fact yesterday at a thrift store I came across a book by Jason Fung on fasting. Guess I've got some work to do. But, despite the setbacks I feel better at 55 than I have for my entire adult life. I feel younger than I did in my late 20's. I like how you said to use the book as a guideline... but adjust it to you so that you can be more successful at it. One thing that I decided to not follow years ago was staying away from pickled foods. I've loved vinegar, pickles, kimchi, etc. They have done my body well I believe. The way that I look at it is that before refrigerators, food was salted, cured or pickled. With an O negative blood type, I'm an old blood type that likes old preservation methods. Mmm... pickles and bacon... Thanks for all your information Doctor.
😂😂i love plantains too! Olive oil with a little butter fried!! 2022 cleared the gut for 90 days with only meat and oily fish and I am amazed at my satiation, efficient digestion, flat belly & strength. I was anti meat but not a vegetarian before and now I feel the difference as type O blood type also.🎉Thank you for this video!😊
The old way to "pickle" foods was to allow it to naturally ferment with salt and the juices extracted in the process tho. So maybe forced pickling with vinegar is the problem. It doesn't make sense tho unless it's because of the white vinegar which is an avoid, but apple cider vinegar is ok. Hmmm So, maybe natural ferments are ok as long as they are of approved veggies. I wonder if any fermented are approved...
Type O+ right here. I also have this book. It is a very Interesting read. I went vegan several years ago and I lost weight like crazy. But I began to notice changes in how I felt both mentally and physically. I assumed that I was probably deficient in certain nutrients even though I was taking vitamin supplements (yes, including B12). So I reintroduced animal products back into my diet gradually, starting with organic pasture raised eggs. I want to embrace this diet completely, eating only those foods that are best suited for my blood type and see if I can eliminate as many health issues as I can!
The blood type group is just something a person made up. It is not a proven system. Just a reminder that you were never vegan because veganism is an ethical lifestyle for life for the animals to end their abuse and suffering as much as possible. It is something we never turn away from. When it is done correctly we have all the nutrients we need for a healthy life because all nutrients, including protein come from plants. I'm type O, 70 and vegan. No problems. My conscience is clear because I'm not part of the suffering and bloodshed which other people take part in. Meat has been proven to be carcinogenic as are dairy products.
I am O Rhesus negative and 80 years old, considered unusually fit for my age……..I eat at least 1 plantain a day, boiled, fried, baked. I am an English lady, married to a Ghanaian. 😊
God lead me to fasting and the blood type diet....I felt fabulous slept great digestive was best ever in my life.... Then I was attacked by my thyroid it ruined all my progress I was healed completely without surgery or medication oh but God Im slowly getting myself back on track.
@ritikchauhan140 I wasn't diagnosed with thyroid cancer and my 3 nodules left went away after the biopsy so the specialist sent me back to my Dr...no medications prescribed was fine an entire year no more symptoms, now I have another nodule that goes up and down without any former symptoms im scheduled for another ultrasound im thinking I might need radiation or a removal of the nodule..I know they say you can live with it without problems??? I don't want it!!!

My daughter has Lupus and is type O . As her personal nutritionist at this time, I was led by the Holy Spirit to feed her lots of grass fed meat. I also remember reading the blood type book many years ago. Today your channel pops up and I know it’s just the Most High Yah. 🙏🏽 Hallelujah for confirmation. Now that I’ve been preparing lots of grass fed meat ; she has better days. We’ve come a long way. She has been extremely sick. I subscribed immediately, no doubt I’ll be listening to more of your content! What a blessing 💯
with lupus check her spleen and get some standard process supplements to help. if you live in the usa get a check by someone who does nutrition response testing. i hope the best for your daughter.
When I went Vegan, next thing I know I was in the hospital having open 💔 surgery, NO LIE 😳🤯😟!! Now I am a ♥️ Survivor, THANKS All Dew Tew YahWeh, but yet a ♥️ Patient.... 😔
This diet absolutely works!! I was a vegan/vegetarian for 17 years and became extremely ill, I was extremely anemic, very frail and tired all the time even though I ate fruits and veggies and grains. I was already gluten free and never ate plant based processed foods. I was introduced to this diet when I was receiving a blood transfusion and instantly after eating a beef burger I felt better. I follow the O type diet strictly, I avoid all the avoid list, and eat red meat everyday! I noticed when I ate some grains during the holiday and some sweets immediately my body felt it, and I had a lot of mucus. So sticking with the highly beneficial list is best. Im grateful for this information it has saved my life.
Totally agree. I found “Eat right for your blood type”years ago. The best I’d ever felt…During pregnancy I read eat right for your baby. Had a beautiful healthy baby boy. Both Always in great health thank God. Going back to intermittent fasting. It’s a game changer me as an O+. Thank you! 💕👑

I enjoy bacon and eggs every day. I stay very lean, lots of energy. Thank you sir for the confirmation.❤
I followed trends and news articles for years as an o type. I was a vegetarian and everything under the sun . I was sick all the time. When i started craving meat and started eating meat again i felt so good real talk. Eat in moderation and be healthy.
While listening to you I was saying,"That sounds like Eat Right 4 Your Type". I found that book in the 90's and have been following the recommendations ever since (it's coming apart). I use to have horrible allergies. Medication didn't help. I came across that book and realized I was eating so many wrong foods for my blood type. I eliminated the food's and you know what, I feel so much better. My allergies start during January & February, I start sneezing. i'll take something homeopathic and sneezing stops. Sometimes I do cheat. I'd eat wheat cookies, then feel the effects from eating them. I would highly recommend that book to everyone
I just want to say you have given the BEST advice ever. Be sensible and eat something you aren't supposed to eat every now and then. Too many restrictive diets don't give you this info. Thank you! ❤

Thanks for this video. You literally told me what i needed to hear. Here I was trying to process giving up little specific fruits and vegetables and Lord knows giving up pork is hard enough already and your final words help me refocus...80 to 90 percent compliance and enjoying my life is better than 100 compliance and feeling deprived and sad.
You make valid points. . T am a 66 year old with type o- blood. I have by now learned what my body responds well to and taken note of it. Lift weights and walk. I did martial for years. Fasting is also good. I like detox teas also. Too many obese people tilting the earth. Respect your body and it will respect you. We all die from something, but let's push ourselves to do the right things. Retiring does not mean sitting on your ass at home complaining about your muscular skeleton issues or digestive problems., You would be surprised what exercise and eating conservatively will do. Also, if you were not physically active as a child and teen then you have a strike against you already. I grew up on a farm diet. Beef, chicken and garden produce.. Sure I get aches and pains, but i don't let top from lifting and walking. Get off the couch and do something. When the day comes when the doc says you need to loose weight, you better get on it, PRONTO
We definitely need positive representation, considering how the media constantly demonizes the entire black American community as if we add nothing positive to America. His visibility may cause an employer to hire a young kid with an interest in health and wellness instead of stereotyping them as being a violent thug. This comment was VERY relevant!
*O+, Keto, 1 meal a day* Lots of grass fed beef, fish, cheese, butter, eggs. I only eat SEASONAL vegetables especially broccoli and very little seasonal fruit. Never been healthier, more energy, and more virile
I have been on a mostly pescatarian diet but I feel hungry way too often and I am anemic so after listening to this video and reading up on eating for my blood type I think it's time to warm up to eating meet regularly again. Thank you.
I'm 0+ and gluten intolerant so I either make my own bread and deserts or buy the gluten free stuff in stores. I stopped eating white flour and it changed my whole life. I lost 18 lbs and never put it back on. I eat anything I want but am also a disciplined eater. Try not to eat after 4 - 5 pm every day. Also have problems with dairy products and haven't had cows milk in ages. Cheeses especially can fatten me up so I avoid them except for Parmesan and Romano. Except for hamburger, I don't eat much red meat. Eat pork and chicken, dislike roast beef as I think it stinks. I make my own salad dressings and mostly cook my own meals from scratch. No Tv dinners and very little canned food. Read labels folks. I never used to but in today' world they put too much junk in our food, so read labels.
Pretty accurate! For 0 blood type and all of those forbidden food can be eaten in moderation like once in a while as treats. other than that I stay away from it on a regular basis. No medical illness here. Thank you so much for the info.
I am a lifelong vegetarian and type O-. I don’t have any health issues but time will tell. I have been trying to cut out some of the grains because they do make me bloated. However I find that my body tolerates soy extremely well compared to most people.
O pos here, intermittent fasting is my natural way of eating. I don't eat red meat, but chicken and fish are a MUST. I don't do keto, but low carb and I don't tolerate sugar at all. Thanks for great content!
Thanks for the guidelines, was pretty much eating a lot of the recommended foods already, and I can cut back a bit on the “avoid” group. But I won’t give them up completely. A person needs some joy in their diet. PS, unless its starts causing me to go into convulsions or something, I’m not giving up my pickles. EVER.
I found it interesting to see that the fruits that has to be avoid are the exact ones I hate eating as a kid...🤔 However as I grow old I've found ways to accept the taste of these fruit...now you're saying that I don't need them at all!?? I mean what!??! This makes me so glad!!😂
The reason type O cannot have pork or ham is actually the antibiotics and curing chemicals that are used in the pork. If you can find pork that is raised antibiotic free and uncured, that is actually acceptable. Something like wild boar or wild hogs that have never had contact with antibiotics or farm feeds. Once you are on this diet, you begin to realize how much wheat flour and sugar is added to store bought and processed foods, along with other ingredients like potato. They pop up everywhere in foods you wouldn’t expect them to be. If you are not sure whether a food is O acceptable, look at two things, the fat content, and the starch content. The higher both of these are, the more unlikely they are to be healthy. With fruits, it’s acid content. The more acidic, the worse it is for you.
Makes perfect sense. I really had no clue what I was doing, but I started removing foods that made me feel awful. Before I knew it, I had lost 80 pounds and I feel amazing. Basically ketoish, I stick to low carbs. No sugar, it makes my joints feel like I have sand in them. If I eat carbs, I feel super sluggish for the next day or so. I just stay away from foods that my body doesn’t like. Thanks for the information!! 😊
@@rougebaba3887 that’s amazing!! When our bodies are getting the food it likes, we feel it! I have so much energy, I literally can’t sit still. I also have bouts of insomnia. I definitely love the energy and how I feel. I feel like a young adult again! Also, no one recognized me when I went back to my previous job to visit. They heard my voice and realized it was me. 😂😂 Keep up the great work!
You must be very sensitive to be able to tell exactly what makes you feel good or awful! I’m always feeling awful with Lyme coinfections, and don’t really eat to a plan e cost no grains, VERY little sugar, no dairy, no soy, only certain oils, etc., but I’m going to try this because I feel better eating meats because the red blood cells are attacked by a live parasite in the tick-borne family. I’m dizzy and pasty looking, and my stress levels are sky high every day as I’m caregiver for my adult disabled son, who gets violent, and I’m very tiny! It’s a nightmare!
I started this diet on the first day of the year after my mom introduced me to this book and told me all about the benefits she is experiencing. I feel so much better on this diet. Fatigue have disappeared. And the weight is just dropping off. 9 pounds lost already.

I agree with your statement "Enjoy life....." There is so much information and misinformation out there about what to eat and what not to eat, mostly by people just trying to make money. I have a friend who retired and at that time gave up caring about supplements and what to eat and what not to eat and since that time she has become much happier, lost weight, has more vitality and is enjoying life to the max. It doesn't matter what you eat for the most part, (within reason) but what you BELIEVE about what you eat. Belief and the knowledge that you create your own life are the kingpins.
Very interesting info! Thanks for taking the time to share all of this! I am 0+ & have been pescatarian ( salmon, shrimp, crab, Dover Sole, oysters, clams, on occaision) & 100% vegetarian for 49 years. There is no way this body could digest, or even stomach eating meat.

What this diet is doing is helping you to consume more foods that are good for your blood type. It says to avoid, NOT to abstain. I can say, by avoiding wheat & replace with spelt has got rid of my hay fever, travel sickness & eczema.
I’m O negative and I was delighted to hear that so many things I hate are on my avoid list, and things I love are good for me. Actually some of my avoid list make me physically ill like Kiwi, melon, avocado. I love being beef liver, kidneys, heart, tongue, we were reared on them but unfortunately it is really had to get beef liver now in Ireland as it is all exported to fancy restaurants overseas. We can get lambs liver but it’s not nearly as nice. ❤️🇮🇪
I just found your channel & subscribed. I am O blood type & eat most of what is good & do not like or eat the list of things not good from the book you read from. I drink vegetables juices in the day light & eat 1 solid meal sundown. Love your channel, notifications are on. Blessed be your heart. Thank you
Love this...I'm type O and have followed the Blood Type for a few years. I mainly follow Paleo which is like Blood Type. Thanks for sharing about Africa & how we're all originally from there! 🌺
I went vegan for 2 days, called in to work the 3rd day. I could not function. Went right back to meat. I found my overweight and high blood pressure problem directly related to carbs and sugar.
The book separates foods into three categories, good, neutral, and avoid. Beef, beef liver, lamb, good. Chicken, poultry, neutral. Ham, pork, goose, processed meats, bad. The way the meat is raised or prepared can also nudge it into a better or worse category. Such as grass fed beef is better than grain fed beef. A lot of meats only fall on the bad list because of the hormones and chemicals used to raise them. The book itself is mainly a guideline to the better choices in your diet for your blood type. For type O, most grains are bad, especially wheat. If you must have some grain, white rice is neutral, and is the best bet. Corn and rye are iffy, some people deal with them better than others. Spelt can also be consumed in moderation, but most other grains and breads should be avoided.
I'm O+ and have been Vegan/vegetarian for over 35 years and am Extremely healthy!! Ive always fasted and i have not had a cold since 2006 and last time I've had the flu was in the 80's. Im very athletic and have great energy. So I'm not bought into the blood type diet.❤
I tried to be vegan and my iron was so low they gave me a transfusion and I had a transfusion reaction. I even had a difficult pregnancy with my child being A+. I had to start eating meat again and my iron level is now normal.
This made me feel so much better. I didn’t understand why when I was trying to go vegan I literally craved Duck meat and looked it up and it was due to the fact that it is high in iron because I don’t eat red meat for other health issues.
I used to get confused by a lot of conflicting information about choosing the right diet because I found anything I ate had an adverse effect on my system like bloating, trapped wind & always passing stools which weren't solid. I'm not 100% on my blood type, but my mother says I'm a blood group O, don't know if it's positive or negative. I have been concentrating more on what I put in my body & focusing more on foods that are beneficial for blood group o & I think I now understand my body better because I've noticed a change in me, since my converting to a more blood group o diet, I feel much more alive, my bloat has gone, aches, pains & wind cramp is almost none existent & i can feel my blood carrying the nutrients my body needs & it feels like I'm taking antibiotics, the fresh rush you feel in your blood is very refreshing & I cannot remember feeling this great in myself. I find myself becoming a devout follower of the O diet & ive never felt healthier 😊❤
O type here and due to autoimmune disease, have a fairly strict ketogenic diet and also have food sensitivity testing about once a year. Ironic ( with 2-3 exceptions) that what is recommended for blood type O is generally what I do eat ( minus the organ meats - but could take Ancestral supplements for this) So, my 20% not recommended foods will be avocado and bacon, which I only eat about 1-2 times a week anyway. Very interesting and thanks for sharing. BTW, squid always comes up as the highest inflammatory food for my system. Never tried it, don’t plan on trying it. 😂 After reading a few comments will add that my auto immune disease is type 1 diabetes and yes, I intermittent fast daily, not getting hungry until around dinner time. I don’t have an endocrinologist as they think I am ‘nuts’ for keeping a low A1C ( non diabetic normal range), and not eating the recommended 5 meals a day. My functional doctor would like my A1C a bit higher, just for safety, but doesn’t say anything about my diet as my blood panels are good. Just saw eye doctor today, no glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts or retinal neuropathy-68 YO female. Diet is EVERYTHING!
Your story sounds similar to mine. I’m also a 68 year old female, but after 20 years of toxin illnesses (HUGE understatement!), I now have Lyme coinfections which are in my red blood cells (O +), and I’m extremely anemic, lightheaded, pasty looking, etc. I think I need a ton of meat, which I’ve never cared for much, but luckily, I found the grass-fed beef organ capsules, which help immensely!
@kaceeboxers3580 This is great to read! ❤ Type 1 here too! Learning more about keto and now blood type diet. Where do you do your yearly food-sensitive test?
I love your energy and I didn’t know about the specific dude I should be eating. I’m O- RH - and I eat a very high protein, keto diet. I tried to fast for 72 hours but it was my first time ever and I lasted 56 hours. However I eat FACTOR meals and I eat 3 a day. I’m strict with water intake and no other liquids. I work out 5,6 days a week. Lots of weight lifting, volleyball, mountain biking, swimming. I am very active. I do tend to be on the tired side and fatigued for some reason. There’s my own personal story! hope it helps, thanks for posting this video.
I find it quite amusing that the so called ‘experts’ previously pushed eating very small amounts of healthy food throughout the day. In other words - opposite of intermittent fasting😳. The consistent logic being that the patient was keeping their blood sugar at a steady rate throughout the day.
This is my short story. I found out that I mouth breath when I sleep. I now use a mouth strap that comfortably keeps my mouth closed, forcing me to breath only through my nose. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I'm so much less tired throughout the day it's amazing! I always thought it was what I was eating. Perhaps this will be of help for you.
I love FACTOR. I eat one of their meals a day. But I don't exercise at all at this time due to messed up back. I'm in the middle of having it fixed to some degree and hope to get in the pool soon for some cardio. Have lost 50 lbs, though, on Keto while basically lying in bed.

I’m a Type O and very happy I grew up eating wild game meat. It made for an easier transition. Plus, I’m a chef so I’m experienced with food preparation. It’s always good to know which foods are beneficial for the body. Although I’m REALLY struggling with the 🥑. 🙄 Thank you for this content!
I can relate to some of the vegetables and fruits to avoid. I have type O blood and I used to be a vegan. After 7 years I started eating fish. Mostly salmon, shrimp and cod. I am now a flexitarian. I eat meat sometimes. I was thinking of trying other meats again because I am lacking iron and B12. I am taking supplements, but I would rather get nutrients from the food I eat. Thank you for the video. I have watched a few on UA-cam.
Please don't say that you used to be a vegan because veganism is an ethical stance to end the abuse and suffering of animals. It's a lifetime commitment and not something we do for a while and then stop when it doesn't suit us anymore. It is the understanding that we are all living sentient beings, equal but different. That the animals are not on this earth to serve us but that they are here for their own purposes. As each person evolves they begin to understand the deep meaning behind this philosophy. You were plant based for a time.
@@carmenmichaelian8307 It is NEVER a choice when there is a victim. Please remember that. The animals who are tortured and killed for your palate aren't given a choice.
Type O here, I loved your video especially the last positive message. I've been saying God to bless the food I eat to my body for many years, & for His guidance where food& supplements are concerned. Now seeing this video, I see that I've been led to most of the foods for my blood type & what not to eat. Avocado's surprised me I love them but can only eat them very rarely as they are very expensive here in Canada. ❤ Moose has always been my favorite meat yum.
I love the 80 percent rule, 'live your life' for sure! Hey if i see a really good FRESH avocado in Canada, a rare find, I'm in. Their scarcity keeps my intake low. nice video thank you!!
I am O+ and I changed my lifestyle eating to OMAD intermittent fasting and also fasting for 2 or three days sometimes. I abstain from most carbs but I will eat celebratory meals and have cake and ice cream. I still will make cornbread every couple of months. I lost 35 pounds the past 6 months to a year.
I am blood type O, turning 70 soon. I am vegan and don't have any of these diseases that people mention. I am healthy and never get colds and flus etc. No pharma drugs. I was even more healthy when I went on the vegan Sibo diet. I also lost weight and felt great.
@@suzyvegalicious5646 That is a separate argument on which we are better off agreeing to disagree. This explains why I didn't thrive on a vegan diet. I was so low on iron, b12, potassium, etc. My high blood pressure was due to my body missing out on high quality meat. I went back to meat and no issues now

Sorry for all your broken bones 💔

The old way to "pickle" foods was to allow it to naturally ferment with salt and the juices extracted in the process tho. So maybe forced pickling with vinegar is the problem. It doesn't make sense tho unless it's because of the white vinegar which is an avoid, but apple cider vinegar is ok. Hmmm
So, maybe natural ferments are ok as long as they are of approved veggies.
Thank you! 💕👑
I must say that your observation on intermittent fasting is true on o+. When I used to do it I felt more energetic and I did loose weight 👌🏾
That’s awesome! Thank you for watching.

Same. I was just thinking about returning to an intermittent diet
I’m O+ too! Totally agree with this I’m going back to fasting
I started a week ago. I don’t even be hungry. The difference is amazing!
My grandfather raised cows. We ate meat twice a week. He said thats sufficient! The rest were beans cornbread greens potatoes and other veggies from the garden
Grandpa was just not dabbling in the product.

After suffering stomach issues that lasted for a month. I could not hold anything that I ate down, without being nauseated or having diarrhea. Until I started eating eggs. I started by eating five a eggs a day, with rice garnished with Parsley. I would eat the same thing for breakfast and dinner. Up to fifteen eggs a day for a month. I was miraculously healed.
I quit meat before for a while and felt weak then when I went back to red meat, it’s like I became stronger, literally even when lifting weights.
@@spitflamez Likewise I feel you on that fr 💯
Love the book, Eat Right for Your Type! 25 years using it and still do!
I just want to say you have given the BEST advice ever. Be sensible and eat something you aren't supposed to eat every now and then. Too many restrictive diets don't give you this info. Thank you! ❤
I about died when it said no 🥑… I eat one a day and my body loves them !! So that one is going to happen lol
That is great. I’m so happy for you. Thank you for sharing. You got this!
*O+, Keto, 1 meal a day*
Lots of grass fed beef, fish, cheese, butter, eggs. I only eat SEASONAL vegetables especially broccoli and very little seasonal fruit. Never been healthier, more energy, and more virile
I’m O Type and vegan, so I’m wondering what should I consume more of to be my healthiest as an vegan. And what vitamins would benefit me more.👍🏽
I have been on a mostly pescatarian diet but I feel hungry way too often and I am anemic so after listening to this video and reading up on eating for my blood type I think it's time to warm up to eating meet regularly again.
Why hold on to pork?
Pretty accurate! For 0 blood type and all of those forbidden food can be eaten in moderation like once in a while as treats. other than that I stay away from it on a regular basis. No medical illness here. Thank you so much for the info.
I am a lifelong vegetarian and type O-. I don’t have any health issues but time will tell. I have been trying to cut out some of the grains because they do make me bloated. However I find that my body tolerates soy extremely well compared to most people.
This was a great informative watch. The no editing made it even more trustworthy and pure. Thank you
O pos here, intermittent fasting is my natural way of eating. I don't eat red meat, but chicken and fish are a MUST. I don't do keto, but low carb and I don't tolerate sugar at all. Thanks for great content!
Thanks for sharing!
EVER.
Yes. GO PICLED CABAGE. CUCUMBERS.🥒🥬👍🙋♂️
Yes I couldn’t live without a turtle or two every few months. You have to do what works for you.

You are easy on the ear and easy on the Eye🤗👁
Brother!!! I'm O+ and even my teeth and mouth feel better on heavy meat diet 😎 the high level of focus is on another level.
I found it interesting to see that the fruits that has to be avoid are the exact ones I hate eating as a kid...🤔
However as I grow old I've found ways to accept the taste of these fruit...now you're saying that I don't need them at all!??
The more acidic, the worse it is for you.
but now a days all animals are treated with antibiotics or hormones or other stuff coming to be a huge problem
For me it was white pork chops, roast, theres an enzyme I can't digest but if it cooks up pink like ham & bacon no problem.
Pork is unclean for us Hebrews.
Oh thank you. I cannot do without no-sugar, humanely raised, uncured bacon.
Does our RH factor account for eating for our blood type also?
RH good question. I was!
Interesting but please switch off background music so that we concentrate on your presentation.

I went vegan for 2 days, called in to work the 3rd day. I could not function. Went right back to meat. I found my overweight and high blood pressure problem directly related to carbs and sugar.
Wow. I had a similar experience but I worked through it until I couldn’t any more. I went 11 days without meat. For me high quality meat is better.
2 days ?? You were detoxing
Wish he could provide a written list of foods and meats TO EAT and TO AVOID.
O- here!!
I lost over 90 lbs.
Disaster struck after flu vaccine. I am disabled and gained weight. My last 10 years has been a terrible struggle!
Agreed!
I tried to be vegan and my iron was so low they gave me a transfusion and I had a transfusion reaction. I even had a difficult pregnancy with my child being A+. I had to start eating meat again and my iron level is now normal.
Will check out the book.
What about O-? There foods are differentl from O+...
After reading a few comments will add that my auto immune disease is type 1 diabetes and yes, I intermittent fast daily, not getting hungry until around dinner time.

I understand the meaning and the philosophy, but I also have choices.
@@carmenmichaelian8307 It is NEVER a choice when there is a victim. Please remember that. The animals who are tortured and killed for your palate aren't given a choice.
