- We finally get to this magical destination. We get sorted and do some bike maintenance , before hitting the trails. Things go sideways and the DRZ400 suffers a mood swing. Join us.
Good times! That tow looked sketchy af on the dirt! Amazing! LOVED the outro music lol.
We edited out the sketchy fails. Expect more spaghetti with your music.
Glad to see proper towing process. Good music on this one. Always good to see Guy!
Glad you enjoyed it. Check on him, I'm sure he would love the call.
Great tow skills guys! Beautiful scenery!
Thank you very much!
Nice work in stepping up the production and editing work on these videos. Small steps have added up to big steps from last year and even this summer. :)
Much appreciated! We have special people coming to star soon. We need to do them justice.
@theadventurecooperative I expect all our special crash events in your videos will provide a nice bump in your view count!
Sketchy is always more fun, and provides a better story. Cheers from Las Vegas.
Enjoy a sketchy time in Vegas.
love that area to ride in and the hotel is greatest. hopefully you get that DRZ running better if your going out to the mission. You wont have anyplace to tow it , some very technical trails going to it. have a great ride and see you in the next video
We get lucky and no towing was required. Some sacrifices were made though. The DRZ is suffering from a warn out float needle and poor fuel. Then more issues pop up. Great having you along.
This is deja vu all over again for me. Two years ago in January I had to get my KTM 890 R towed out to the main road in Baja. Great towing technique
I bet there are many stories of rescue from the desert . They call Baja the land of broken dreams.
@@theadventurecooperative question, is there gas near Cataviña? (ie some folks on the side of the road selling? I believe there is no gas station nearby. I am heading down there in about a month. Thanks
We brought extra fuel. The gas station was never finished and the only fuel is road side jug vendors.
Maybe the DRZ did not want to go to work that day. 😊. Love that sketchy wheel bearing swap 😀🤟.
Could be , but it was not up for negotiation yet.
@wobblywaldo, You should be thrilled.... there is a nice hotel on site! :)
@@richardconnoly yes that would make a nice bivouac for sure, and with a pool. Let’s go there! 😀
@@wobblywaldo Of course!
You have built a very nice friendship with Guy, along with a great riding buddy!
Any coyote sightings?? Or just plenty of roadrunners?
It has been great getting to know Guy. He has helped us become better riders by challenging us. Just Roadrunners so far this trip.
awesome video! wish i could of been there to roost you guys...
Next time!
Killer video!
Cheers buddy.
living the dream
Trying our best.
on the list those trails of cataviña.... i like we you post the map at the end, to have an idea of were are this trails..
Just wait till episodes 2/3.
Yah - I've also changed a few sets of wheel bearings (not mine - but others') down in Baja.
Pro tip: Check 'em BEFORE you pack up the bike for a Baja trip, eh ?
This bike lives in Baja, so it was kinda like working on it at home. Field repairs will always happen.
Good times guys
For handy towing tips , just hit us up.
I laughed pretty hard at the KD insert.😂
I'm glad it got a laugh. Made us laugh doing it.
looks like southwest USA
In some ways it does.
