Our Baja on Down and Up Adventure Motorcycle Tour | What's it really like?

🏍️Along with the announcement of our motorcycle rental fleet in Bend, Oregon, we are now offering regular group trips in Baja following our first research trips in the peninsula in April of 2019. Riding some of the least-obvious routes, and powering ourselves with the non-stop supply of great seafood and friendly faces along the way, we enjoy the comfort of twin-cylinder adventure bikes and use them for multiple terrains between the east and west coasts of the Baja peninsula.
🙌Highlights
-Riding southern California across the border to the Guadalupe wine valley of Mexico, a mountainous region of northern Baja
-Boutique and upper-end hotels and lodging experiences, as you're too old to stay in dumps and eat only free tortilla chips
-El Triunfo, Misión San Francisco Borja, San Javier Misión, and more along the way
-Whale watching and petting opportunities on the rest day, an experience to never, ever be forgotten (mainly for mid-January through March dates)
-A relaxed pace, riding between pavement and dirt along the way, touching both coasts of Baja along the way
-Highlight and famous spots like Mike's Sky Ranch, Coco's Corner, San Ignacio, the Sea of Cortez, and the Pacific Ocean are all included

I am from Costa Rica, I want to make two trips: 1st, estimated for 2022, me with two pals, all good riders, 56, 57 and 51 years old. 2nd trip, 2023 with my son, he will be 17, I´ll be 58 how can I start the contact with you guys?

I did most of this route solo 3 yrs ago. It was phenomenal, from San Felipe, San Ignacio, etc. Highly recommend this ride and I never felt at risk at any time.
Eric, excellent. Did you get a whale watching/petting experience around San Ignacio there? As if the rest of Baja isn't great enough.
@@RIDEAdventures yes I helped some Canadians that own the yurts to put out a bush fire and then the next day I rode from San Ignacio to the ocean. Many pics of the whales and pet more than one. Rode into baja de San Francisco and Los Angeles and spent too much time exploring so didn't make it past Mulege. Would love to swim with the whale sharks there and night kayak but next time.
@@underthestarsericlarson8369 , excellent perhaps you witnessed then how the baby whale calves behave just like kittens and puppies. So much fun, such curiosity. Ride on.
Yes it was great. Curious and the moms herding them from us at times. Highly recommend this trip. Next time 2 months and the La Paz ferry are on the list.
The only issue I had was when I ate the lettuce. Stop the bike run into the desert with TP. And darn locals kept stopping to see if I was ok. We all laughed at my mal espanol, when I showed them the toilet paper... 🤣

My route is; Los Angeles CA to San Quintin to Guerrero Negro to Loreto to to San Jose del Cabo. After spending a few weeks there ( surfing/fishing and visiting with friends) then it’s Los Cabos to San Juanico for a couple of weeks ( surfing/fishing ) then back north to Guerrero Negro-San Quintin- and then home to Hermosa Beach LA. Typically a 5-6 week adventure with lots of dirt, surf, fish, food and tequila!
Some time in the future I will take that trip.

Yes, Mx has issues. More issues in the big resort towns & main land.

Yes, riders can bring their own bikes on certain Baja trip dates. Best is to check the dates shown on the tour page, and use the form to inquire there so one of our Guides can get back to you about possibilities. Viva la seafood tacos!

Do you ever get solo travellers joining onto tours with groups of other riders?
Absolutely, the majority of our Customers are joining as Singles. It's so easy to meet and make new friends, when we have like-minded riders all out having a great time in a place like Baja. See Dates on that page, and let us know when you want to go?
