My question is, is it possible that it was all just in Clarke's head??? Why would they even show the first scene where Clarke was still on the arc, in her cell,making that drawing on the floor?? Am I the only one thinking about what it meant???

I feel now that its done and over his death was wasted so epically in the sense madi still was toast and so many other things happened that he could have been a part of. I felt we had seen lexa already the walk on the beach should have been Bellamy in so many ways. I was hoping the for a few things but was ok with how it ended I wont lie i was hoping for one last twist and the Real Lexa would come back and save the day!

When he came back, Bob said he was excited to film the final season with his wife, but Jason killed him off as a last minute change. He wasn't supposed to die, Bellamy and Clarke should've gotten together - they were told to play the characters romantically. It was all in Jason's head, he killed him off the show.

Infinity I don’t know, Octavia’s pep talk was later and hundreds of years have passed since Becca. They were on the brink of atomic extinction then and now they have survived and learned so much. Octavia’s character arc defines humanity imo.
If they won’t join transendence when they die then maybe they will join everyone who died before transendence. That means Bellamy, Lincoln, Abby, Kane, Monty, Harper, jasper, the rest of the 100, and Lexa

I like the friendship aspect of the ending. My main happiness right now is : OCTAVIA GOT A HAPPY ENDING AND IS WITH LEVITT, YES!!! And THE COCKROACH LIVED, I‘M THRIVING! Not the best ending but those two things save it for me!
I was so scared that Clarke was going to be alone again, however this ending is beautiful in my opinion. Clarke still accepts that she can bear it so no one else has to. I believe this show is not about friendship but choosing your family, and how strong love is and what we will do to be with the ones we love.

This is an imagination, Clarke never got accepted because she murdered in the test. Meaning humans who sinned even tho they were almost about to get into infinite after life don’t deserve it. She will die like normal humans, like everyone else, bellamy, Lincoln, Alexa, and all the other characters. They will experience the true death, which is great news! Because she will be able to see her mom and dad and everyone else on the arc, in true heaven. The people who transceded are living in an imaginary world that does not exist. They will never die or feel pain. Kind of reminds me like the city of lights, it was fake but it kept everyone alive and happy in a fake world, thought to be “heaven”. This whole serious wants to make us think in the afterlife, it’s crazy because it resembles us now. How god won’t want to take us because all we think about is violence and war. But when he comes in his throne, everyone will transcend to heaven, and the sinners will stay. That’s what this movie is trying to say, meaning, only that that the humans had to solve the puzzle to get to this conclusion. Anyone think the city of Light season would have been the end of the series but they decided to make the show longer? Basically same concept, feel no pain and no death and live forever. Transcendence sounds a whole lot like the city of light except for the fact you get to choose.

Soooooo in the end of the day, Bellamy was RIGHT. Transcendence existed and he was trying to get his friends and family into that paradise but got screwed and killed by Clark. He never gets his happy end and dies misunderstood; while Clark who almost caused the death of the entire human race over revenge, gets a happy end......wow really Awesome outcome huh....😑

It could have ended worse, but I'm still upset about Bellamy. Clarke killed him to protect Madi, who ended up with brain damage anyway, and he was right all along. I know some of the other deaths were badly done as well, like I couldn't even remember why Lincoln died other than because Pike was a dick, but to have that be the ending of such a pivotal character so close to the end just feels stupid and only for gratuitous shock value. Glad they're all together, though, and seeing Lexa again was amazing.
Yes, unfortunately. Bob requested 4 episodes off for his mental health after his doctor said he shouldn't be working for more than 12 hours per day. This ruined Jason's plans and so he ruined Bob's character in return.

Clarke and Bellamy were never going to get together, it was pretty obvious from the show. Clarke wouldn't, and now will never, get over Lexa. But she'll spend her last moments with her friends, and they all understood Bellamy's death. It's a good ending

And Bellamy and Clarke were never romantic, she loved him the same way she loved Raven, Murphy, Octavia, and the rest of the crew. Notice how he wasn’t the person she loved most. Jason said he wouldn’t even have been a second choice. Also, Eliza and Bob made it pretty clear those two were never going to end up with each other anyway. Bellamy also had Echo, whom he spent 6 years with in a spaceship. That connection can’t be so easily severed either. And yes, we know they changed the scripts but it was probably to adapt to ADC coming back as it was originally going to be Abby. We don’t actually know for sure what he did.

Clark was my favorite until season 5. Clark started to become a problem when madi came around. She killed Bellamy over a notebook that got stolen regardless.

I was thinking that initially, but there was a difference: the city of light made people forget their memories and lose their ability to make decisions for themselves. I don't think transcendence does that (inferred by the being saying "Madi knew you would say that", so Madi remembers Clarke and the pain of leaving her but is still at peace). + it's a choice like said in the scene, and you can chose to be a normal being again.

Yup... Season 6 was good, and 7 had it's upsides here and there -- but in retrospect, it would've been one hell of a series if it ended at 5 ... leave people wondering about how they survive on this planet and then that even opens of a better transition to a possible Sequel Series.

This includes Bellamy kane abby and the rest who died and didn't transcend. By the end of the show no main character was left

But she didn't shoot sheiheda who ended up talking about madi to bill so.... Bellamy died for nothing really... But Murphy had a better ending than Bellamy so alls good
I had a lot WTF moments in this episode, but this scene was so pure and I really loved it. I expected this finale to be completely shit, and not in a million years I would have thought they give us an happy ending, but here we are. Clarke, finally able to recover and to be happy with her friends, her chosen family.
They chose not to transcend. They chose to be human. Because life is about more than just surviving, it’s about living. Living with all the pain, hurt, loss, and love that being human means.
Right? I mean it's so sad that they are the only ones left but I get it. What is living without pain without loss and love, amd never dying? That's not what humans are made for. The ending shows that humans are flawed, we all are and that's ok because that is just life, the bad and the good is part of it.

Bellamy was wronged on so many levels this season! He was one of the main characters for 6 seasons and then suddenly he wasn't there half of the 7th season and when he finally came back they portray him as a crazy guy and kills him😠 He deserved to be in the finale. I'M SO MAD !!!!!!

The finale made me feel so many emotions, I felt heartbroken, angry, annoyed, and happy. I cried so much. This show was a hell of a ride. I also love how Levitt is there.

During Optavia's speech, I was just thinking that Bellamy should have been alive and leading the other side. Would have made it more emotional when the other side put down their weapons.
Bob Morely didn't want a huge part in the last season and that's his choice. However, as a storyteller its disappointing that they did so little with him. Just because you can't have the actor on-screen doesn't been you need to discredit the character. I feel like this whole situation was an opportunity for the writers to problem solve and come up with a story that minimized his involvement in the plot but didn't destroy his seven seasons of growth and even if he did have to die in the end, make his death a meaningful one and not just a seasonal pivot point. They very easily could have faked his death the way they did at the beginning of the season, have him absent the majority of the time, and then in a single episode show where he's been (like they did) except this time have him come back not as a shell of his character but reinforced as a person who went through a season of solitude to get back to his friends. Then he could have either died during those efforts or survived with the rest of them. I liked the very end and all of the moments with the character in the final episode but the rest of the trancendsion plot felt forced and very out of the blue I followed it in the beginning and liked how it tied back to the start of everything but as it moved on it felt less and less like the show I had spent seven seasons with. It was the quiet moments, dancing, hugging, the goodbyes between characters I knew and loved that made appreciate the ending but everything else felt cheap just my opinion.
The problem wasn’t that they did too little with him. The problem is that they completely did a 180 and ruined his character and just as an extra fuck you moment had that DISGRACE of a death scene
This series was amazing, but it had potential to do better than this ending, this "end of mankind" thing felt very sad. Some of those will be couples and the rest will be single and lonely till they die, they can't have kids, they'll just wait till they all die. we can see the terrible fate they will have to face. Eventually turning on each other, depression, being alone, Clarke having to live with knowing she killed Bellamy when he was right and lost Madi anyway. The last two standing having to decide to end their lives so none ends up all alone. Knowing none of them will transcend, they will just get old and die. This needed a better ending. Stopping the last war and living as a comunity, and rebuild the human race till earth is back to normal again. That was the purpose of the show, to rebuild earth...

I’ve been watching this show since the beginning. I don’t regret watching the show one bit but I am disappointed in the ending, especially in how they ended Bellamy. I know it wasn’t realistic for everyone to survive until the end, but they did Bellamy so wrong!!! Also the last season was all over the place, it was too much. I will miss this show ✌🏽
I kinda agree, I started watching this show 3 years ago when season 4 just came out, although the actor of Bellamy : Bob Morley didn't want a big part in the season, they still did him dirty, they could've atleast kept him alive, also they kinda jumped the shark with all those unrealistic things

Clarke bore the consequences, Octavia unifies the humanity, and Raven shows hope for humanity. I knew that these three would be the one that came thru when push comes to shove on the verge of an apocalypse. I know the ending is not really what we all wanted to happen but we gotta admit it it could've gone worse. Lol. Clarke really lived up to her name as wanheda tho. LITERALLY the last person in the universe. What I love about her is that nothing can shake her. Always stands on her ground especially for her people. She's always ready to sacrifice herself to die or worse, being left alone in order to save her loved ones. They gave Octavia a pretty good redemption ark imo. A warrior who stopped the last war before it even begun. She has proven herself a worthy leader for wonkru once more. And I'm just glad she found love at the end. As for Raven, if there is one person that should represent the humanity to take the test, I have no doubt that it gotta be her (or Bellamy in that matter). But Raven. Not only she's incredibly smart, she probably has the purest heart even after being in so much pain, always seeing the death of her significant other, died, got beaten up, shot, brain fried, and tortured over and over again since season 1 😂 People, angels, demons, and even gods would definitely have a soft spot for her. The ending would've been much much better if Bellamy is there too. But let's admit that it's so satisfying to see Murphy decided to come back too. I know that Raven, Octavia, Gaia, Jackson, and the others wouldn't think twice to come back. But Murphy, the cockroach, the one who always put himself first, the one who strives to save himself and threw everyone under the bus in order for himself to survive. Decided to come back for Clarke. He probably has the best character development throughout the series. Clarke is always the one who sacrificed for everyone, and now it's her crews who sacrificed themselves for Clarke. She no longer has to bear it alone, her friends bear it with her. Somehow poetic. Somehow beautiful. So, aside from that unnecessary death of our beloved Bellamy, I'd say it's a pretty good ending.
This is an imagination, Clarke never got accepted because she murdered in the test. Meaning humans who sinned even tho they were almost about to get into infinite after life don’t deserve it. She will die like normal humans, like everyone else, bellamy, Lincoln, Alexa, and all the other characters. They will experience the true death, which is great news! Because she will be able to see her mom and dad and everyone else on the arc, in true heaven. The people who transceded are living in an imaginary world that does not exist. They will never die or feel pain. Kind of reminds me like the city of lights, it was fake but it kept everyone alive and happy in a fake world, thought to be “heaven”. This whole serious wants to make us think in the afterlife, it’s crazy because it resembles us now. How god won’t want to take us because all we think about is violence and war. But when he comes in his throne, everyone will transcend to heaven, and the sinners will stay. That’s what this movie is trying to say, meaning, only that that the humans had to solve the puzzle to get to this conclusion. It’s a super confusing theory, but once they all age and die on earth, they hopefully will be reunited with belamy, abby, and all their friends from the ark including those who died in the way. depending on how god will judge them. So basically long story short, this is an imagination of Clarke’s head, of how the afterlife will be or how earth will be after nuclear power. “Your fight is over” “May we Meet Again”
For those who are sad that Clarke and Bellamy didn’t end up together, just remember that they got married in real life and they have a baby together now 🥰
Personally I liked this finale. They all finally got peace and we even got some cameos. The storylines all concluded with just enough for the potential spin-off. Sure it was a little fast-paced, but it’s not like they can force the CW to hand them a 2 hour special. I can tell they did what they could with what they were given. Sure they didn’t get to fully flesh out Bellamy’s character but Bob asked for time off. That’s an external issue so couldn’t really be helped. Overall I think this was a good send off and final season. Not the best season, but it was good and kept me on my toes. I’m glad it didn’t go the way of Game of Thrones
Jeremiah Russell no, I think Jason ended it on his own accord. But what I’m saying is a lot of people were complaining that it was rushed and that the episode should’ve been longer. The creators of the show don’t have the power to just make a longer episode. I believe those are all executive decisions from the network, or at the very least the network would have to approve that

I was just thinking, was this the only actual case where the saying 'May we meet again' and the phrase 'Until our final journey to the ground' actually worked for Murphy and specifically Emori? They say it when someone is about to die or something and in the last episode Murphy and Emori come back alive back on earth (their final destination).
It definitely wasn’t the show’s best season, but this finale ended with Adventure Squad being together and at peace. I can accept that as a good finale.

The person with the white jacket who you can't see their face is Emori. The show had a run of 100 episodes which is beautiful and poetic. Just found out Bellamy and Clarke are both Australian and married in real life (mind blown). It was a great show and had a great run.
I am divided: I would say that GOT's ending was worse... however, The 100 won the battle of "worst character's death" (for Bellamy). I mean: there were some really impactful ones in GOT, but at least they made you feel something (anger, sadness, etc.). However, when you don't feel anything, it's because something is really wrong with the writing...
Here's a more devastating thought. Clarke was running around looking for Picasso, and after a life filled with death and destruction, she finally lost her mind and imagined the whole thing about "Lexa" telling her that her friends have decided to come back so she won't be alone and hallucinated them being there with her when the reality is she is truly and awfully alone.

What’s funny Madi is the only one who loved her, and she ain’t even there. The rest didn’t even rate her. They got their sub groups that are really close, and partners that they spent YEARS together but Clarke’s always been an outsider. They give up eternity for her, and now they can’t have no kids either.

She's there. It even says it in a TV Insider article. I had to watch it again to spot her because they don't show her face but it's her. Murphy wouldn't be so happy if she wasn't. And as was stated before, you can see Murphy touch her back when she reaches down to pet the dog.
The Murphy scene made me cry he literally did not care of dying and in the end he ended up saving each other because they were still alive in one body like how can it get deeper then that 😭❤️

And the best thing is: they called him crazy and insane but in the end his beliefs were right..what a shame

I like the friendship aspect of the ending. My main happiness right now is : OCTAVIA GOT A HAPPY ENDING AND IS WITH LEVITT, YES!!! And THE COCKROACH LIVED, I‘M THRIVING! Not the best ending but those two things save it for me!
I was so scared that Clarke was going to be alone again, however this ending is beautiful in my opinion. Clarke still accepts that she can bear it so no one else has to. I believe this show is not about friendship but choosing your family, and how strong love is and what we will do to be with the ones we love.

It could have ended worse, but I'm still upset about Bellamy. Clarke killed him to protect Madi, who ended up with brain damage anyway, and he was right all along. I know some of the other deaths were badly done as well, like I couldn't even remember why Lincoln died other than because Pike was a dick, but to have that be the ending of such a pivotal character so close to the end just feels stupid and only for gratuitous shock value. Glad they're all together, though, and seeing Lexa again was amazing.
Yes, unfortunately. Bob requested 4 episodes off for his mental health after his doctor said he shouldn't be working for more than 12 hours per day. This ruined Jason's plans and so he ruined Bob's character in return.

@@shanny1413 It wasn’t awful. Wasn’t top notch, there were definitely flaws and unanswered questions, but the main characters got a bitter sweet conclusion. And Bellamy and Clarke were never romantic, she loved him the same way she loved Raven, Murphy, Octavia, and the rest of the crew. Notice how he wasn’t the person she loved most. Jason said he wouldn’t even have been a second choice. Also, Eliza and Bob made it pretty clear those two were never going to end up with each other anyway. Bellamy also had Echo, whom he spent 6 years with in a spaceship. That connection can’t be so easily severed either.
And yes, we know they changed the scripts but it was probably to adapt to ADC coming back as it was originally going to be Abby. We don’t actually know for sure what he did.

I was thinking that initially, but there was a difference: the city of light made people forget their memories and lose their ability to make decisions for themselves. I don't think transcendence does that (inferred by the being saying "Madi knew you would say that", so Madi remembers Clarke and the pain of leaving her but is still at peace). + it's a choice like said in the scene, and you can chose to be a normal being again.

Yup... Season 6 was good, and 7 had it's upsides here and there -- but in retrospect, it would've been one hell of a series if it ended at 5 ... leave people wondering about how they survive on this planet and then that even opens of a better transition to a possible Sequel Series.

I had a lot WTF moments in this episode, but this scene was so pure and I really loved it.
I expected this finale to be completely shit, and not in a million years I would have thought they give us an happy ending, but here we are.

She will die like normal humans, like everyone else, bellamy, Lincoln, Alexa, and all the other characters. They will experience the true death, which is great news! Because she will be able to see her mom and dad and everyone else on the arc, in true heaven. The people who transceded are living in an imaginary world that does not exist. They will never die or feel pain. Kind of reminds me like the city of lights, it was fake but it kept everyone alive and happy in a fake world, thought to be “heaven”. This whole serious wants to make us think in the afterlife, it’s crazy because it resembles us now. How god won’t want to take us because all we think about is violence and war. But when he comes in his throne, everyone will transcend to heaven, and the sinners will stay. That’s what this movie is trying to say, meaning, only that that the humans had to solve the puzzle to get to this conclusion. It’s a super confusing theory, but once they all age and die on earth, they hopefully will be reunited with belamy, abby, and all their friends from the ark including those who died in the way. depending on how god will judge them. Bob Morely didn't want a huge part in the last season and that's his choice. However, as a storyteller its disappointing that they did so little with him. Just because you can't have the actor on-screen doesn't been you need to discredit the character. I feel like this whole situation was an opportunity for the writers to problem solve and come up with a story that minimized his involvement in the plot but didn't destroy his seven seasons of growth and even if he did have to die in the end, make his death a meaningful one and not just a seasonal pivot point.
They very easily could have faked his death the way they did at the beginning of the season, have him absent the majority of the time, and then in a single episode show where he's been (like they did) except this time have him come back not as a shell of his character but reinforced as a person who went through a season of solitude to get back to his friends. Then he could have either died during those efforts or survived with the rest of them. I liked the very end and all of the moments with the character in the final episode but the rest of the trancendsion plot felt forced and very out of the blue I followed it in the beginning and liked how it tied back to the start of everything but as it moved on it felt less and less like the show I had spent seven seasons with. It was the quiet moments, dancing, hugging, the goodbyes between characters I knew and loved that made appreciate the ending but everything else felt cheap just my opinion.

The problem wasn’t that they did too little with him. The problem is that they completely did a 180 and ruined his character and just as an extra fuck you moment had that DISGRACE of a death scene
This series was amazing, but it had potential to do better than this ending, this "end of mankind" thing felt very sad. Some of those will be couples and the rest will be single and lonely till they die, they can't have kids, they'll just wait till they all die. we can see the terrible fate they will have to face. Eventually turning on each other, depression, being alone, Clarke having to live with knowing she killed Bellamy when he was right and lost Madi anyway.
The last two standing having to decide to end their lives so none ends up all alone. Knowing none of them will transcend, they will just get old and die.
This needed a better ending. Stopping the last war and living as a comunity, and rebuild the human race till earth is back to normal again. That was the purpose of the show, to rebuild earth...

I kinda agree, I started watching this show 3 years ago when season 4 just came out, although the actor of Bellamy : Bob Morley didn't want a big part in the season, they still did him dirty, they could've atleast kept him alive, also they kinda jumped the shark with all those unrealistic things

I feel so empty now, I've been watching this show since 2015 and now, it has come to an end. It left a hole in my heart just like many other great shows did. Also, I'm so happy Indra and Niylah had a happy ending. It's been a Hell of a Ride.

Clarke bore the consequences, Octavia unifies the humanity, and Raven shows hope for humanity. I knew that these three would be the one that came thru when push comes to shove on the verge of an apocalypse.

Clarke really lived up to her name as wanheda tho. LITERALLY the last person in the universe. What I love about her is that nothing can shake her. Always stands on her ground especially for her people. She's always ready to sacrifice herself to die or worse, being left alone in order to save her loved ones.
They gave Octavia a pretty good redemption ark imo. A warrior who stopped the last war before it even begun. She has proven herself a worthy leader for wonkru once more. And I'm just glad she found love at the end.
As for Raven, if there is one person that should represent the humanity to take the test, I have no doubt that it gotta be her (or Bellamy in that matter).
But Raven. Not only she's incredibly smart, she probably has the purest heart even after being in so much pain, always seeing the death of her significant other, died, got beaten up, shot, brain fried, and tortured over and over again since season 1 😂 People, angels, demons, and even gods would definitely have a soft spot for her.
The ending would've been much much better if Bellamy is there too. But let's admit that it's so satisfying to see Murphy decided to come back too. I know that Raven, Octavia, Gaia, Jackson, and the others wouldn't think twice to come back. But Murphy, the cockroach, the one who always put himself first, the one who strives to save himself and threw everyone under the bus in order for himself to survive. Decided to come back for Clarke. He probably has the best character development throughout the series.
Clarke is always the one who sacrificed for everyone, and now it's her crews who sacrificed themselves for Clarke. She no longer has to bear it alone, her friends bear it with her. Somehow poetic. Somehow beautiful. So, aside from that unnecessary death of our beloved Bellamy, I'd say it's a pretty good ending.
They didn't sacrifice themselves. They will get to return when they die.

Personally I liked this finale. They all finally got peace and we even got some cameos. The storylines all concluded with just enough for the potential spin-off. Sure it was a little fast-paced, but it’s not like they can force the CW to hand them a 2 hour special. I can tell they did what they could with what they were given. Sure they didn’t get to fully flesh out Bellamy’s character but Bob asked for time off. That’s an external issue so couldn’t really be helped. Overall I think this was a good send off and final season. Not the best season, but it was good and kept me on my toes. I’m glad it didn’t go the way of Game of Thrones

@@meccalovett4616 oh thx i feel they couldve had like maybe 10 seasons because they coulda really used like them finding the stones and figuring things out and learning new planets and stuff and i feel they coulda had more seasons if they would used that i loved the ending tho i cried when i watched it its like so nice because they transcended like all they wanted to have was a peaceful life they basically probably had everything they wanted but they went back for Clarke and that made cry like crazy the show will be missed

They really hadn’t decided if they wanted to count Emori as alive or not till the very end. Took me at least 5 times of watching this scene to confirm she was actually there

I was just thinking, was this the only actual case where the saying 'May we meet again' and the phrase 'Until our final journey to the ground' actually worked for Murphy and specifically Emori? They say it when someone is about to die or something and in the last episode Murphy and Emori come back alive back on earth (their final destination).
It definitely wasn’t the show’s best season, but this finale ended with Adventure Squad being together and at peace. I can accept that as a good finale.

The person with the white jacket who you can't see their face is Emori. The show had a run of 100 episodes which is beautiful and poetic. Just found out Bellamy and Clarke are both Australian and married in real life (mind blown). It was a great show and had a great run.

I am divided: I would say that GOT's ending was worse... however, The 100 won the battle of "worst character's death" (for Bellamy). I mean: there were some really impactful ones in GOT, but at least they made you feel something (anger, sadness, etc.). However, when you don't feel anything, it's because something is really wrong with the writing...
Here's a more devastating thought. Clarke was running around looking for Picasso, and after a life filled with death and destruction, she finally lost her mind and imagined the whole thing about "Lexa" telling her that her friends have decided to come back so she won't be alone and hallucinated them being there with her when the reality is she is truly and awfully alone.

The only part in the end that I thought was dumb was the offspring I think they should've let them have offspring because it would've been interesting to see them want to build a better world to start over
What’s funny Madi is the only one who loved her, and she ain’t even there. The rest didn’t even rate her. They got their sub groups that are really close, and partners that they spent YEARS together but Clarke’s always been an outsider. They give up eternity for her, and now they can’t have no kids either.
Maybe they can use the embryos that Cadogan's people had and raise children.

It's crazy to think about that there were only 4 characters still alive from the 100 teenagers. Clarke and octavia were kind of obvious, but murphy and Miller!?! It's so cool to see that Miller actually survived

She's there. It even says it in a TV Insider article. I had to watch it again to spot her because they don't show her face but it's her. Murphy wouldn't be so happy if she wasn't. And as was stated before, you can see Murphy touch her back when she reaches down to pet the dog.
Clarke had such a survivor spirit. She was gonna live out her days all alone on earth
The Murphy scene made me cry he literally did not care of dying and in the end he ended up saving each other because they were still alive in one body like how can it get deeper then that 😭❤️
