    Another thing, comments from the RACCOONS will be deleted. This is a BELLARKE scene and it's not here for your bullshit or hate, so if you want to "rant" or whatever the hell, go somewhere. Okay, bye.
    I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING IN THIS VID, EVERYTHING GOES TO THEIR RESPECTED OWNERS.

    He's not being an asshole with her. He's really hurt that she left him TWICE. When he offered to take half the blame for the Mount Weather thing she left him. When he risked his life to save her, she chose to stay with Lexa and left him.
    He's angry, but when he realises he hurt her with his words you can see clearly see it in his eyes and in his face that he's truly sorry for what he said.. Just look at the face he has before he walks back to her. And he's honest when he says "I'm sorry too.". I know many say it's just friendship and all but I think this is the scene where we can see Bellamy's feelings towards Clarke are beyond that; he loves her but he doesn't want to say it out loud, Octavia knows it, Kane and Monty realised it in 3x02. Everything he did from season 1 was simply to protect his people but also Clarke, and even in these episodes where he doesn't know what he's doing, he's still protecting her. He handcuffed her to keep her away from Lexa and the grounders.

    Clarke plays him so well in this scene. She wants a certain outcome and she changes her tactics at least twice in order to get what she wants, I don't believe she's sincere in this scene but only saying what she thinks Bellamy wants to hear and on top of all that Clarke reveals her loyalties are divided. She says "we did our part" then she says "Lexa and I" showing that at the very least a part of her is with Lexa then she says"if Arcadia doesn't make things right then Lexa and the 12 clans will wipe US out." And it's like... Bellamy has got to be questioning where Clarke's loyalty is especially since Lexa didn't have a good track record at keeping to truces and deals. I love this scene!!

    Clarke left because she was broken from all the choices she had made. Her leaving also broke Bellamy. He is lost without her. He is hurt because she left him. No way would he get this mad if he did not love her. They both made bad choices. They are both lost without the other. Only together are they ok. They hurt each other deeply. There bond is so deep it can never be truly broken. Just temporary apart. They will always find a way back to each other. How is this platonic? Are you kidding me?

    I love this scene, it was so real and honest and it all really needed to be said. This is why I love their relationship they don't let each other get away with bullsh*t.
    They were both stupid in season 3, everyone was. Communication is the key to any relationship and no one communicated anything to anyone the whole season.
    If Kane and Abby had just consulted or even announced the peace alliance with the clans to their people Pike wouldn't have been in charge. If they had explained the clans were punishing the Ice nation, and that if Skykru attacked it would break the peace Pike never would have won the Chancellor position. Instead they tried to keep everything quiet and it looked like they weren't doing anything for their people. Not to mention all the idiots that stood around and did nothing to warn the peace keeping army when they knew Pike was gonna go out there and kill them.
    If Clarke hadn't been a selfish b*tch and stayed or even had a conversation with Bellamy at Polis before he left he wouldn't have gone off the rails. It was perfectly understandable that he wouldn't trust Lexa, and it's so true that he felt the loss of Mount Weather more then Clarke because he was the one actually there with the people and promising to keep them safe.
    Clarke was trying to make peace and she did a pretty good job of that but if she had actually communicated any of it to her own people it wouldn't have gotten as screwed up as it did. I think she just trusted that Bellamy would understand and go with it not fully realising until this moment how much he needed her.
    Also the hypocrisy this season was unreal, Clarke trying to justify why Skykru shouldn't be punished for slaughtering their alliance members was ridiculous (especially after they attacked the 2nd village), I get the protect your people thing but if you really want alliances to work you have to hold people accountable. She should have gone straight home and said those involved turn themselves over. If they didn't then anyone that voted against Pike should have left and the grounders could kill who ever stayed.
    Bellamy was stupid for thinking that they could fight all 12 clans and he knew they weren't all the bad guys so he just lashed out cause he was mad at Clarke and Lexa which made him look painful dumb for more then half the season.
    So much stupidity in season 3, at least we had some good honest talk about feelings and confronting all the crap they have done. Also Roan had a brain and is amazing, love and miss him.
    Rant over.

      Steph Willer If grounders attacked Arkadia, they would’ve been slaughtered in the tens of thousands. The overwhelming numbers are an advantage but are the casualties worth the loss? Clarke was being selfish and protective of her people, that’s just who she is. She even admits it later when Titus calls her out for it in front of Lexa.
      Lexa listened because it was best for her people to try a new way, one without bloodshed. She’d spent her life trying to create peace, so it was also in line with her character. She was ruthless too, but balanced that with her compassion. Good characters, both, in their own ways.

    • @stephwiller9089
      @stephwiller9089 4 роки тому +2

      @@ufphk I see your point that Arkadia had better weapons and there would have been a high body count. But you also have to consider what inaction does. By not punishing Arkadia it made Lexa look weak, like she wasn't protecting the people that actually wanted to be part of her alliance. That could have resulted in Ice Nation taking further measures to break up the alliance of the clans (which they were almost successful in already at that point). Then you can guarantee a lot more bloodshed. Furthermore, Arkadia wasn't going to stop, they were planning to continue to encroach on grounder territory in a violent manner so blood would continue to be spilt regardless.

    • @ufphk
      @ufphk 4 роки тому

      @@stephwiller9089 Lexa had no way of knowing Arkadia was planning expansion at that point.
      Lexa was genuinely trying to figure out a long lasting peace, as even Titus mentioned that her alliance was the closest they'd ever gotten. She did all that so her people could have peace. She considered Clarke's input, but not without her own thoughts. She was a good leader.
      She even called Clarke out on her hypocrisy with Emerson, so Clarke later changed her mind and decided to support Lexa.
      It was mutual, they both contributed, and both learnt - from the other.

    • @stephwiller9089
      @stephwiller9089 4 роки тому +1

      @@ufphk For the record I never said Lexa was a bad leader. I said everyone made bad decisions based on a lack of communication in season 3. Like 90% of their problems were due to the fact that people didn't explain themselves to others.
      I still think it was a risky move for Lexa not to punish Arkadia, obviously it worked out in the show. But even after they continued to attack grounders all Lexa did was surround them, we never got to see what she would have done if Pike never surrendered but you can bet the other clans wouldn't have settled for peace. Hell even Indra questioned Lexa's decision and she was super loyal.
      The fact is the grounders have always been willing to sacrifice to win. Like Lexa letting Mount Weather drop a bomb on them. Lexa had peace with everyone BUT Arkadia, taking Arkadia out would have made all her other clans happy and she would have still had peace with them. The only reason she showed restraint was because they were Clarke's people but killing them off wouldn't have effected the peace coalition with the grounders in fact it probably would have strengthened it. People only started questioning her when she started protecting Skykru.

    • @ufphk
      @ufphk 4 роки тому

      @@stephwiller9089 People were already questionning her for breaking her alliance with Skaikru to get her people out of the Mountain.
      Clarke then killing everyone in the Mountain to permanently end the Reaping and the Harvest further damaged Lexa's power base. She couldn't kill Clarke, because she was already in love and regretting her betrayal.
      You're right probably, but keep in mind these are kids. Communication has never been their strong suit. Even today, with all the possible manners we can communicate with, what's the end result?

      Bailey C Clarke didn't betray her people. She thought she was doing what is best for them. And in a way, she was - she was the only one who could reach/influence Lexa, who had the power to decide if the Trikru were just going to go in an all out wat and try to kill all Arkers (and with the Ice Nation already against them, the prospects didn't look good). Both Bellamy and Clarke were doing what they think is best for their people, but she chose peace and compromise while he chose war and no compromise.
      Which is one of the main reasons why I hate the Clexa relationship and why it was so toxic. Basically, most of the foundation for that ship was the fact that Clarke had to make sure that Lexa didn't decide to kill everyone Clarke cares about. (Which is exactly what Lexa wanted to do in this same episode before Clarke's intervention.)

    • @spiritfang36aj47
      @spiritfang36aj47 3 роки тому +3

      @Δεν Παίρνω Αναβολικά clearly someone didn’t understand Lexas character at all. Lexa wanted peace. That was always her main goal. That’s why she was one of the first commanders in ages to form an alliance between the 12th clans. When Finn murdered those people it caused a problem. Deep down Lexa wanted to start an alliance with Skaikru but she knew that because Finn had murdered those innocent grounders, lexas people would never accept skaikru as part of the alliance and they would turn against Lexa rather than follow her. The alliance would break and all chaos would break loose. The grounders would of preferred to kill all of skaikru or at least believed they should be allowed to kill the same amount of people that were killed in their village. Lexa was able to convince her people that by only killing Finn they would still be getting justice. That’s why Finn had to die. Finn died so that everyone else could find peace. Lexa knew if he didn’t die her people would never accept skaikru and would turn against her. Lexa did what was best for everyone. This reminds me of something one of the primes said to echo in season 6. “Would you sacrifice one life to save everyone” or something along the lines of that. Lexa knew that’s what had to happen. Clarke never had to kill Finn. In fact she never planned to until she went up to him and kissed him. Lexa never meant for Clarke to kill him and bare that guilt. That was never her intention. Her intention was for her people to get closure by killing him with death from a thousand cuts and then everyone leaving peacefully. Anyways. Lexa again, tortured raven for her people. At the time, Lexa and the grounders believed it was raven who had tried to poison them. If Lexa had just left that unpunished then lexas people would take that as weakness and turn against her. Again leading to more war and chaos. Lexa betrayed Clarke, yes, but one thing this show has taught us is that you do what’s best for your people above others. Lexa realised that by making that deal it would mean none of her people died at all and instead they all got out freely. If it was your people, your family that was in danger I think you would make the same choice to save them. In addition Lexa can’t help the way she feels. She fell in love with Clarke and she tried to hide the way she felt. She hid behind the fact she betrayed Clarke to hide her feelings longer but of course she loved Clarke and couldn’t help it. So obviously eventually she wanted to be with her. Lastly, Lexa never fed Clarke the idea that love is weakness. Deep down Lexa knew it wasn’t. But like all nightblood children who are taken captive by flamekeepers and then trained to be heda, she was brainwashed by her teachers to believe love is weakness. It was Titus that pushed that idea onto her every five minutes. But as we saw, part of her always disagreed with it. Even knowing Clarke loved and cared for many people she said to her “I was wrong, your heart shows no sign of weakness”
      That’s the difference between Lexa and the commanders before her. Part of Lexa always believed in love and peace. Her main goal was always to achieve peace between her people. It was only once she met Clarke was she truly to begin to accomplish it.

    Idk why people were mad at Bellamy because of what he said. CLARKE NEEDED TO HEAR THIS, C'MON, HE JUST SAID THE TRUTH. EVEN CLEXA SHIPPERS HAVE TO ADMIT THAT. He trusted her A LOT OF TIMES and people who trusted him, people he loved GOT KILLED. It wasn't her fault, ofc, BUT HE PULLED THAT LEVER WITH HER, AND HE GOT TO KNOW THE PEOPLE HE KILLED, HE WAS IN PAIN TOO, and she left. She DOES have a point, but do you really think he would trust her, trust the grounders again after everything? After a "I need you"? You think that would fix everything? He was broken, and Pike saw it and manipulated him, bellamy thought he would be useful again, that Pike cared about him, so he did everything pike said, he thought it was the right thing to do. I do love clarke, but I don't think she's right as I don't think Bellamy is (I just said he has a point)

    My main problem this season is that the position of Pike and co. is stupid to the point of unbelievability. I don't care how much you dislike grounders, refusing to recognise that there are (or were) multiple factions of them i.e. Ice Nation vs. the rest of the clans, is dumb.
    Plus, the tactics behind massacring the 300 soldiers were stupid as well. If they could wipe them out so easily why not wait for them to attack? All acting preemptively would achieve is turning a 'maybe' enemy into a 'definitely' enemy. And considering the Sky people are hopelessly outnumbered...why do it? To scare them off? Just last season grounders marched against Mt. Weather, which had all weaponry the Sky People have plus ACID FOG and MISSILES.
    It's particularly annoying because most antagonists previously on The 100 have had at least somewhat rational positions that can be sympathised with. I don't mind ruthlessness. I do mind Bellamy inexplicably becoming an idiot.

      ***** I'm criticising the show more than Bellamy himself. Pike's plan was stupid in a way that, to me, didn't seem believable.
      Also, it's not about trust. It's about politics and assessing the likelihood of a particular outcome. How Pike and co. (including Bellamy) tried to deal with situation was about as sensible as opening a door with a bulldozer. Although, I now can't remember Season 3 enough to comment properly.
