@@AFistfulOfVinyl oh, okay. it's good to know that because i was having mixed feelings towards this interview. i think it's really douchey to film someone without their knowledge and i'm relieved that he was aware of being filmed.
@@hemoglobinsoup Oh yeah, absolutely agree with you - personally I wouldn't ever host an interview that way. I want my guests to feel as comfortable as possible so they're relaxed and candid, and I can only honestly do that by giving them all the info. These cameras are one. This is what we'll end up doing with the footage. He knew the phone feed wasn't broadcasting over FM - just online. There were other cameras in the room too - I just haven't edited their footage yet.
Kinda funny this interview is taking off in a way, since there's actually gonna be a well-produced version coming out later.
A Fistful Of Vinyl when can we expect the well produced version?
During the first 10 minutes, I though I would be watching a bomb slowly crashing. It didn't. Julian was great, and the interviewer was special but out of the box in some way - and it worked. I would consider this a valuable piece (considering the circumstances lol)
I love that he can't even pretend to not be jaded about music interviews.

Thank you! Yeah, we'd spoken on the phone and texted just a little bit, and hung out in person for about 15 minutes before the show. But this was the first we met in person. It was kinda naturally simpatico from the get-go, which I was grateful for since I was a little nervous. But yeah, that's kinda why the interview was so relaxed and easy.

@@leavingitblank9363 It's a combination of the tracks Julian gave me to play, and the playlist I'd made before I had his requests (but all are songs/artists referenced by him and the band in other interviews)
FYI, interview starts at 3:00. It would be interesting if what they play on the air is actually the whole thing, like what we're hearing here. (I.e. off air conversation.)
The commentary you hear without the mics on didn't broadcast on FM - I'm gonna edit and release a produced version with better audio and multiple cameras soon :)

I thought that was a mirror behind Julian up until 1:13 when he walked though it lol.
Every time that record button is punched the posture takes incredible stamina to maintain. Along with the psychology behind each action the body takes or makes is about like a Trillion synapses popping off at the speed of light which determines the next set of motor skills the mind has determined the body to make without you even knowing. When the movement is deliberate it so happens at the speed of thought!
