Glad you are doing so very well William. I wish I had had the time to watch your videos 3 years ago. But I was caring for my newly diagnosed husband in his GBM fight. Sadly Oct '23 will mark 3 years since his passing. And it hurts. But seeing you so healthy and full of life is truly lovely. May you continue to have nothing buy stellar health. Hugs and God Bless.
You're a true miracle. As an RN who has worked in neurology clinics we had a nickname for GBM and DIPG, we call them "the terminator" (not in front of patients or relatives obviously) Your survival to this point is really nothing short of incredible. I believe there is now a type of electrical field treatment for glioblastoma so there are still some strings to your bow I believe optune is something that could be a game changer.
Hi William. I really enjoyed this video, as well as all of the other ones you have created, regarding you cancer journey. I'm sure each of your videos takes a lot of work to plan, create, edit, and then upload. Thank you for all your work. I'm sure there are many others like me around he world that look forward to watching them every time you up load an update, on share your musical interests. Keep up the good work brother, Your videos have been a big help to me. I'm going through a very similar journey as yourself and have been motivated to keep on fighting and ignore what google says. We are all different. No one can tell us what timeline we will have. Thank you again for the great videos. From Victoria BC Canada.
I don’t think I’ll ever touch a smoothie again after listening to you. I think it did play a role in your diagnosis. I’m not sure why I think it but I do I don’t think it was the innocent bystander like many think
It's one of those things, where who knows how long it would have taken to discover your illness if it hadn't been for that moment. Something so inconsequential. I think I've maybe had one smoothie since then? LOL they always upset my stomach anyways, but after that experience I don't think I really see any positives for me personally when it comes to drinking smoothies haha
My brother (43) was just diagnosed with a grade 4 Astrocytoma (could be GBM, not sure yet) and completed surgery 2 weeks ago yesterday. He was in ICU, regular room and now just got out of rehab hospital today. A picture of health and like you, we were all shocked b/c we didn't know anything about it nor were we prepared. We also read the statistics and are both worried and anxious, but are optimistic from hearing the journeys of people like you. They were able to get 100% of his out and he starts radiation and chemo in a couple weeks. Still awaiting specific genetics of the tumor to see if any abnormalities that make the cancer more responsive to radiation and chemo.
My diet has not changed, but I am starting to work on that. I actually enjoy healthier food options quite a bit, but am also lazy and rely too much on fast food
@@essenceofcanada1314 Very rough! Lot's of stomach cramps. I've had to redo chemo treatments several times. It helps to know what to eat while taking the medication. Plus if you're in a legal state, there are things you can get to significantly tone down the pain. (Puff puff)
I just had an MRI and waiting on results because my leg became paralyzed in early March...how's the prognosis looking for your future? All good I hope?
Woooohoooo! So happy for you! I just started this journey and your videos have been a bright light for me. Thank you!
Wishing you all the best 🙏🏻
Your constant positive outlook really helps me with going through my brain tumor stuff, thank you!

Hey William, love your positivity. I was wondering if you use any supplements or have any kind of special diet.

Can you do a video on what kind of tumor you had and some of the things you did?
Do you eat anything, or also changed your diet and supplementation?
My diet has not changed, but I am starting to work on that. I actually enjoy healthier food options quite a bit, but am also lazy and rely too much on fast food
When are you dropping the next video? Your content is great!
@@essenceofcanada1314 Thank you so much! I just uploaded a short update video about my recent MRI and various other info.
How was your journey like through the 6 months of chemo?

Great news
Well, if the tumor is guaranteed to come back, it's better it comes back later than now. 👍
Has brain cancer but drinks Red Bull, think about it.
Haha got the brain cancer years before I drank red bull. So maybe red bull is the cure?? 🤯
@@TheShapeGameGBM , my point is drinking stuff like that doesn't help.
@@TheShapeGameGBM , if I had brain cancer I'd be drinking only water, no sugar, no bread, clean Foods, stuff like wheatgrass juice etc etc
