It really does seem like a lovely cookbook :) I'm usually not one to actively use recipes in general, let alone from cookbooks, but I still think it's nice having them - usually when I get one I read through it almost like a novel haha ^^ maybe I'll get some... "novel" ideas ;) and it's nice supporting wonderful people like Dr Greger! Great recipe review video and great to see Britney cooking from Dr Greger's Cook book and it's on my wishlist of cookbooks. I need to get rid of my vegetarian cookbooks(bought them when I was trying and failing to be vegetarian) because I only want vegan cookbooks in the house.
Do you have any suggestions on what to use instead of nuts for the pesto? My partner is allergic to nuts but i still want to be able to make this recipe for us. Thank you for making these videos!! :)
Anyone think this might do better as a boiled potato base rather than roasted? I tried the recipe as is, but the texture was lacking to me. I think the potatoes would have absorbed the pesto better. I do like the vinegar flavor that comes from the dressing on the roasted potatoes. I think that could stand on its own as a dish. Thank you to Brittany for making my food life so much better. Vanessa
I love potato. However, I've gained weight during the New Year holidays, so I'm trying to lose weight. I shouldn't have seen this recipe ... looks really good :,-(
@@TheJaroudiFamily idk that a journal will help....its more about my emotional needs being met in an unhealthy way. like, i know when i shouldnt be eating but i do it anyways. I used to do a food journal for a dietitian and one main thing we realized is I snack after dinner. When I stopped eating after dinner, I lost weight. But lately I just havent cared :/ I gotta work on my mental health I guess.

We have the 'Breville smart oven air' and it's the air frying basket but I use it when roasting potatoes.

I agree, roasting didn't turn out so great, but my potatoes were possibly dry.

i have a hard time losing weight even when i eat healthy bc i eat too much....more calories/carbs than i burn lol.
Keeping a three day food journal can help. Then you can make adjustments 🥰
