Have you check the linkage cable on top of gearbox under the bonnet under the battery tray sometimes they split where the pin is and thats same symtoms you have just replaced mine and now works fine
Do you have a video for the kill switch? Also, i dont think you need to change the gearbox oil...and..high mileage? Someone on here has one with 253000 miles on it lol
Hi buddy..I do have a video..Its not uploaded as of yet but will do soon. Ive found out gearbox oil didn’t need changing..after changing and finding no difference whatsoever. Going to bite the bullet and go for a new clutch next week. Hope that fixes the problem at last.
I am experiencing almost the same problem with our C1. Changed cables - didn’t work. Next will be to fiddle with the changer mechanism or some way adjust the cables.

So my one ended up being the clutch. I ended up selling the car to we buy any car for £612 minus admin fees. Miss my 107 these cars run on so little fuel and are really nippy for town driving.

Yeah man it seemed to somewhat fix the issue for a bit but then after a while I could actually here broken metal grinding (parts of the clutch had broken of and just grinding within the plate). I sourced someone who could repair it for £250 which is cheap but at about that time we buy any car sent me an email wanting to buy my car for £910..seemed like fate😂 they eventually brought it for £612 (I received £550) and then I topped it up and brought myself a new project classic Honda CRX…win win

what was the part number for the replacement gear shifter?
Hi Im not too sure what the part number is. I just searched for a gear shifter and brought one taken out of a 107. Here is a link to one on eBay if you are interested.
