I just found these just browsing at Lowes and I grabbed a pack of the 6 inch ones to start with just to check them out. And I have not been disappointed at all
all of nite ize products are great. also, Velcro cable ties, found at big box stores, are good for attaching. the heavy duty ones are fairly weatherproof. but Velcro isn't as quiet as twist ties.
I love coming up with crap like this so when someone else does, it makes me smile. And because I'm a weirdo I will probably go buy four or six of these things today.
After watching this video I tried out strapping my bow to what is a very sub par pack. Totally kept it tight to the pack and got a great day of archery in.... however it was cut short. ( my shooting that is)
Ummm? I'm pretty sure this is what there designed for as I've only ever see them at one store, Sail(local outdoor store) So really, your idea really isn't a new idea.

I've just now started integrating it with my gear lately and I love them man! Great video.
MrLeonidas0001 Glad to hear it thanks!
how are they holding up? i'm wondering if the wire will break after bending it back and forth after a while,
In my next purchase list, thanks.
christian seely Sweet!
What length gear tie do you use in the video to secure that hatchet? Looks like the 6" but I'm not sure. Thanks.
Steve Rothaug I think it is the 24" size. It is a big one for sure.
gideonstactical Ah one long gear tie instead of a couple of smaller ones. Cool, thanks for the info.
No problem!
Hey aaron so when you go backpacking do you use a backpack like a 5 11 rush 24 or like an actuall hiking bag
A lot of the time I am testing backpacks so in changes, but for me personally, I prefer a backpacking style backpack not a tactical style.
Good idea. Nice. Gracias
Carlos Sepulveda Thanks!
Great idea!
Peter Dassira Thanks!
Nothing turns me on more than gear ties LOL
I almost ordered these but then i remembered i have a big roll of steel wire
+VicariousReality7 The down side with steel wire is that it does not have the high friction rubber to grip items.

they are sold at lowes and home depot and are advertised for construction and home use.
