That’s a nice little set up mate. I just did a review on something similar made in Canada. I do like this one though. Nice job as always on the review and set-up. Merry Christmas! ✌️🇬🇧🇨🇦
I am not a hammock camper at all, but this bit of kit makes me have a think on it....very well thought out gear. Looking forward to your assessment of it after a few goes.
I initially thought oh F, not another duzitall offering haha but... I had about five mods planned before you even got into the sling 😂 Just waiting on you saying the price but one thing I'd mention as a solution to striking in the wet. Throw a strap around each tree and shift the tarps biners onto those then you can tuck the sling away still under cover, then the suspension and tarp go into the wets bag. Jungle cords would do it perfectly.🤘
@outsidertank Pricey mind but I think that it isn't too expensive for what you get, I'd hate to try and sew a bugnet in in that style. But an extra waterproof (Ipk sheet?) layer for deck use, velcro side to retain pad function and that'd let me adapt the top layer into a kompound style oversheet to neck levelish and a cowl from the head end that overlaps the topsheet. Edit*both on zips, cowl maybe made with gore-tex to allow breath out better. Three tapes sewn into mesh each side about 8-10 inches apart from hammock to tarp seam with tapeloops in would allow me to run a pole/stick across them and a couple of poles would give you a basis for some light storage like a shelf of sorts. Some pockets up top for poles inside the tarp to spread the roof out a bit and invent a spaceblanket system inside the tarp for extra warms in winter. I think thats it for now haha! 🤘
Hi mate. I'm ex RAF so I can't figure out the KISS with this. It looks overly complicated to me. Then I saw the price and deducted the discount..... And added import duties..... I'll stick to a tarp and ground sheet. It would be good to have a UK distributor to lower the price. I just sent £200 of goods back to helikon in Poland because their website didn't mention import taxes, and deducted polish taxes at checkout! Had a pig of a job. I wasn't prepared to pay £300 for £200 in value of goods. Of course if I'm wrong about pricing please correct me?
Like the spread out bug net, better than having it lying on your face all night. You might need some extra lengths for your whoopie slings you were just in luck with the tree distances on that occasion. Would be interested seeing it set up as a tent, cant quite see it myself. Top vid, nice one!
Afternoon lee how you doing bud ... That is an awesome looking bit of kit .. but I'm not sure about the tarp being connected to the hammock your a bit limited for the tarp design.. thanks for sharing ATB Sam 👍
Mr Tank...hope you are OK,? iv been trying to make a tent out of my dpm basha and I bought 18" bungees ....obviously (now) they are too short so may I ask you what size bungees I should use to make the tent? your answer would be appreciated mate, take care Soldier xx
@outsidertank iv watched today's and I did see the tarp tent one you did fella, I didn't think about putting two bungees together....doh!! lol yeah iv got four 18" so I could do that 😅
have a look at eureka tcop tents mate ...very heavy but bomb proof, irr and camo , they hard too find these days bit they good for stealth...got mine from the good old u s of a , next time I'm out I will try post a vid on my channel so I can get your thoughts on it, I'm planning on cycling to Scotland in spring...iv done Windermere so it just 6 times that lol
Love hammock camping. The no no for me is that the tarp is connected so youre limited with configurations. Onewind products are the best. Reasonably priced amd great bits of kit. Best hammock ive ever slept in.
@outsidertank yeah they have their pros and cons. Mega comfort vs carrying more gear. But the pros far outweigh the cons. Just make sure you have an underquilt or your ass is frost haha.
Looks like a good bit of kit. Makes a change to see something that has been thought through. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for the review, it's a great all-in-one setup. I see some negative reviews and I agree with the pricing issues. However, if you're looking for ultralight, then you already know that stuff is pricy. So I don't really get their argument.
hope this can get you a pinter mate....happy Christmas Thanks
Thank you very much Stuart that's very kind...
@outsidertank just think u are a top bloke and I appreciate your efforts
Nice hammock, i have two already though😂,looking forward to see how you get on with it.
@welshfireoutdoors I have a few Paul. One set up i use in extreme cold weather, I'll try get a video done mate..
That’s another level to my night cat hammock tent good stuff 👍🏻
I have the nightcat, but i prefer to use it as a ground tent. I think it's awesome as that, plus the camo is awesome imo...
A great review, mate. That's an easy and quick looking set up, a nice bit of kit!
Very quick indeed. I'll be using this a lot going forward
I was very impressed yesterday Ryan.
@outsidertank Nice, buddy. I've never bothered with hammock camping, I'll have to get around to giving it a try.
@wildaboutwales you and Toby will be pleasantly surprised. Lilly Boo loves the hammock..
Great bit of kit

@outsidertank I lie on my stomach so it would bend me backwards. That's what he said

I honestly found it KISS. You could defo bring the price down using the same concept on regulations tarp and hammock.
Import taxes are outrageous..
Thanks
Thank you ever so much. Pinning your donation..
@ I am not even sure what that means, but diolch! 😃
Your comment is always first below the video . It's a good place to be...

You can use both tarp and hammock separately...

@stuartme3172 hello buddy, you can use two 18 inch bungees. Have you watched the video i did buddy??
@outsidertank iv watched today's and I did see the tarp tent one you did fella, I didn't think about putting two bungees together....doh!! lol yeah iv got four 18" so I could do that 😅
@outsidertank didn't think I'd ever see you in a hammock tho mate...it looks quite good
@stuartme3172 yes that works pal..is a fab set up in harsh conditions. Bags of room..

I think it will come down to the persons budget, as someone did point out, you could make your own all in one.
Thanks for your feedback brother...
Good review bud, not sure about this, if it was cheaper maybe but you can get everything with the same or better specs for cheaper. Good idea though
@@ValleyCampers agree, but brill idea...thanks pal..
Might be tempted when it's £100 cheaper if reviews are still good.
Good shout..
