Lol the vibe check at the very end was comedy. Man I miss making videos, your channel would hype me up, along with some other drifting/general mechanics channels. Gotta get back in there with the wrench 🤘
Haha dude I put that clip in to make the thumbnail, forgot to take it out !
way to go again nick.
We have the same alignment machine and the zip tie trick for the sensors is a really cool trick for cars with tucked wheels!
Nice, Hunter ftw! and thanks if it works it works.
What would be the best way to adjust the rear caster/thrust on my car. I put new rear lower control arms on my car and it pushed the wheel to close to the rear bumper
Would new rear traction arms help with that?
That’s wheely cool bro 😂
wheely bro?
What wheels are you running?
Tips for not having it fall right back out when tightening everything up? For some reason I end up going back and forth several times because as I lock one down it moves and I almost start over
Usually ill tighten the lock nuts and see where it moves to, then loosen them and compensate the adjustment for how much I saw it move when tightening previously. Happens alot when setting Toe.
What’s the wheels width on your car front and rear and tire size? That KA shreds
Thanks man, I had my street wheels mounted during this video I believe are 17x8 in the front and rear not sure what tire size those were. But when I drift att the track I run 17x7.5 in the front with 225/45/17 tires and on the rear usually stock s14 wheels with 205/65/15 tires since the stock KA doesnt have much power. Currently in the process of turbo charging it so should get some power !
Hey dude, my kid loves your channel and she was wondering if you could do a video about how many women there are in the industry. All she sees are guys turning wrenches and other than me encouraging her there isn’t a lot of support for her passion. Her teachers are really pushing the if you don’t go to college you’re not as good as other people narrative. I went to college and I don’t use my degree for anything. Also if you have any channel merch I could get for her, Christmas is right around the corner.
Thanks for the support from you and your kid man appreciate it! and thats actually a very good topic to talk about I will def make some content around that subject. and as for channel merch wont be available this holiday just yet.
One thing I've learned with 240's is toe is absolutely crutial . If it off a little in the rear end car starts to drive terrible will.over steer like crazy .
Foreals man, I noticed driving home with bent RUCAs with super sketchy. Car had a mind of its own with a bad alignment.
Amazing video when you get a million subscribers and live of UA-cam money I want your tools
Y do u need lots of camber, for street drive n even track -3 should be good
I only track drive this car, and I agree I have too much camber, I tried to go more positive forgetting that my top hats were adjustable.
Great video!!!!
Pacific drift team is hosting an event at avs December 4th if you are interested
I will have to check em out and see! thanks!
Nice, who's Freddy?
lol wondering if anyone would catch that, hes a fellow toyota tech/friend of mine at the dealer.
That's cool you included it, your good man. Your blessed for sure.
Nick! You think you can show how you set it up with the zip ties?
I don’t have access to an alignment rack anymore but I just removed the pins from the arm clamps on all the sensors. Then zip tied the alignment sensors in as many spots as I could to the wheel spokes to get it as secure and centered as possible.
Do my Z alignment lol
I thought you work at BMW dealership no?
He left bmw to go back to toyota he made more money as a toyota tech he posted a video couple months ago about it
