Tim and Valerie, you are the best! Truly love watching you guys no matter what you are up to. The shed is coming together nicely. Tim is so good at this construction business, and Valerie, you are a perfect assistant contractor. 🙂
Valerie and Tim, now you will have a little extra space at the front to attach a ramp to the foundation of your shed if y'all are planning on having one. It will make it easier carrying things in and out especially heavy things and things with wheels. I really like the black flexseal with yall's building it really looks nice and clean. It might need a caulk line inside and out around the base for a little extra water protection and keep the inside dry. I think having the extra space around the building makes it more sturdy too. It will be easier to move it if y'all ever had to with that sturdy foundation yall built. We used the flexseal on our basement walls and along the bottom of the walls on the floor. Not a single leak since. It's been years since we had water in the basement. It used to be like having a little stream in our basement. We love the flexseal. I love yall's shed. Good job y'all!

Wow the garden is going great. You won’t believe the difference in the taste of home grown veges. Potatoes straight from the soil to the garden are amazing along with carrots 🥕. Glad you put your tomatoes in the ground they will need the space to grow. I’m planting, what we call our Winter garden here in Southern Australia, broad beans, cabbage, broccoli, beetroot, silverbeet and radishes. I could put in a lot more if I wanted to. Things like tomatoes beans peppers and cucumbers umbers are all Summer garden vegetables.

Have ur kids help with shed 2 and then sit back and give them the reins to build shed 3 by themselves. 💕. I know they don’t like being on camera but don’t film them. Put a before and after. Just an idea. Feel like I love u guys and I have never even met u. For vacation drop granny off with family and go with ur camper. Air bnb sounds good tho. Wish we could do that. We have illnesses that won’t allow us to travel. It just love ur videos, I don’t know how u do it. Teach your kids to video too. It’ seems to be a good job these days. Great work. This spring/summer we are headed to New Haven, CT where our son lives. He is a member of a singing group called Fourth Wall and they’ll be singing in Carnegie Hall in June, so 10 family members are headed to NYC. We’ll be camping in New Haven and taking the train 🚆 to NYC and back. Then we’ll spend a week camping and seeing the sights in Rhode Island. After that we’re headed to New York to visit the Erie Canal and dig for crystals. Next we’ll head to western New York and camp on Lake Erie before heading back home to Missouri.

Valarie, I’ve been watching you and your families journey for two years. You and Tim are to be commended for your love of family, work ethic and always being positive moving forward. I fell in love with Miss Willow Berry, Max and Milo…Star too.🫶 In today’s upload, your intro music brings a big smile to my face. It took so long that I actually ran out of room on my phone to finish filming the whole thing. I wasn't able to film Tim installing the door, but I think the video still turned out pretty good. 🤗😃
Up where we are in North Idaho, we've had a mild winter with very little snow, but it was really cold and we've gotten a lot of rain. This week, we've had high winds so it makes it really hard to work outside. On the bright side, we haven't seen many bugs, which is great, but we also haven't seen our nesting swallows or other birds. I'm hoping they'll show up and nest here again this year.
In Sweden we have a summer day but it snowed a few days ago. It’s always a surprising season here in the North.
The scene with your barn and trees remind me of a Bob Ross painting. Does anyone remember those shows? You two are doing a great job fixing up your homestead. Love your videos.

When you finish coating the floor use your coating on the roof so it won’t leak because they do. It will also protect your roof color.

We've been having mixed weather here on the west coast. Morning foggy and freezing by midday hot and dry freezing at night.

Get a couple long hoses if you have an outside spigot at the house. Put your barrell by the entry of your garden, fill it with the hose and you should be good for a week. Saturate the raised beds good, not just each plant. The roots will grow deeper after the water. The shed turned out perfect!
I live on the Eastern Shore of MD, the last couple of days have been amazing, sunny with a breeze, high of 87. This weekend however will be in the 60s and raining. Valerie, my husband and I do DIY projects and we have found that getting older takes us longer to get things done. We have a new screened in porch my hubby has been building when the weather is nice. It is so close to being finished. Like you, we will be happy when it is done. Of course there are always projects to do, lol.
Everything I turn around, I find something else that needs to be done. We have a never-ending do to list, that's for sure. 😊
Add a extension roof to your shed close it in as much as u want and park mower there.
What takes the longest is all of those tiny nuts and bolts. I put up a 5x7 slant roof shed last summer and it took us all day so I totally understand
There were sooo maaannyy screws. I didn't think it would ever end. Thank goodness they gave us plenty. I don't know how many we dropped in the dirt. 🤗
ell for starters we are headed to Portland Oregon area for some antiquing...it's just my daughter and I this time so it should be fun.....we currently live in southern cali so its not too long a trip....it takes about a day and a half to get out of the state so after that let the fun begin.......

I love the spring. It's my favorite season. I live in Texas. Right now the evenings are cool and the days in mid 80's. Spring, fall, and winter are the times for all my outside projects. In the heat of the summer it's everything inside.

Here in central Florida 84 high, but breezy and 62 at night. Wish it was like this year around.. sheds are so handy! My husband has his ( workshop) and I have my She Shed that he built for me. - watching from Lake Wales, Florida

Hey Valerie,Everything looks fantastic!The weather here well girl I'm in Orlando as you know.......Girl it pretty much stays humid,hot sometimes we get a cool front....I'll see ppl w/coats I'm like really y'all it's 65🤣But I grew up here seen so many hurricanes now they are frightning.I'm 62 just chillin bc the worlds a mess and I just want to be safe and I think we all want that.Say hi to Milo,Max and sweet Willow.....Love those fur babies,say hi to silly Tim y'all are so cute.Love it all stay blessed🥰
I'm in Wisconsin, and the weather is a guess every day. We go from.30s to high 70s. Tomorrow it is going to rain all day. The weather people warn us not to plant anything yet as we still could get frost!

I enjoy watching y'all work on y'all's homestead and doing home renovations! The garden shed is looking great! 👍 One learning experience after another. I know we been getting some rain here in Louisiana. It's been a really hot summer here last year though with no rain so we were in a drought. Hopefully this summer will be better. Y'all's homestead is looking beautiful so far! ❤
That sweet Milo picked the best family to adopt! I am in central Missouri and our temperatures are much like yours…just all over the place! There’s an old saying from Missouri (and maybe elsewhere, too) “If you don’t like the weather today just wait ‘til tomorrow.”

Here in Saskatchewan Canada it's usually still fairly cold out but this year it has been near 70 alot of days so I wanted to get started on prepping my garden by putting down landscape fabric and then my raised beds on top so there wouldn't be any grass to cut So what happened? I have bronchitis so bad I cant stand up for more than ten minutes and cant catch my breath if I do walk around At least you have your garden planted and it's coming along good but I do agree with the woman that said you should water the whole garden so the roots spread and travel down for stronger plants You really need to soak them when watering so the water gets all the way to the roots 🇨🇦🦩
Oh, OK. Thank you for the tip about watering. It will be much easier to water once we set up the water catching system we plan to add to the shed. 😃

I’m in northeast Georgia and our weather has been all over the place too. A couple of weeks ago it was 90 degrees and then we had to turn the heat on again! The pollen has been really bad this year. I love your new shed. It was so relaxing watching y’all put it together.
What a beast that shed was. I agree - whoever wrote the instructions must have had one too many drinks to assume you could build that shed in a short amount of time! You guys did it though and I hope it gives you many years of storage space for all those things we seem to accumulate.
Good job i know it was a job . But yall are really going to enjoy this shed. And your garden has really grown . Our weather has been cool in the morning and very warm in the afternoon kinda like yalls . But its still dry haven't had alot of rain in my part of N.C. about 45 min. East of Raleigh.❤❤
