Indian FOOD TOUR in Singapore! 🇸🇬 BEST Crispy Prata & Fish Head Curry

- Singapore has an amazing Indian food scene, simply as a result of the sizeable indian community in the city. In this Singapore Food Vlog I tried some of the most commonly eaten dishes, including Roti Prata, Indian fish head curry, dosa and pani puri. Unfortunately due to time constraints I could not include Indian Rujak, which is also something worth trying I believe. Below is the location of the places I visited:

Damn I can almost taste that fishhead curry through the screen. The meatiness of the fish head, the fattiness from the cheeks, the spices, the sourness from the tamarind and sweetness of the pineapple. You have described down to a T why we love it and why it’s a brilliant dish. Are you sure you’re not Singaporean? 😅

Yes I do use an external microphone, that’s because the places where I eat are often crowded and noisy so I need to make my voice clear!

I’m a FISH CURRY enjoyer when it comes to prata. 🥲 Imo it’s ‘lighter’ than mutton curry and there’s a slight acidity that really cuts through the ghee/butteriness of prata. Maybe others have a different opinion lol.
Would have loved to try a fish curry with the prata, although I’m not sure they had that option there!
Yes every stall in Singapore offers the Fish curry option. Most Singaporeans choose the fish option because it has to be made that morning. Unlike the mutton option that could be kept overnight, or so I have been told. Singaporeans also do not like the Malaysian Roti Canai because it comes with the vegetarian Dhal curry.
