Mannn that was an EPIC performance... simply amazing!!! Sorry about the music sound level, it could have been a little higher. All you fans of this band or style of music please throw me some suggestions. I'm liking the way this one sounded so much that I don't know if I can wait for a future reaction to dive further into their library. WOW!!! Props out to Gojira for kicking some major ass. Oldman shows his range as a psychotic corrupt cop(he plays Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies, Det. Gordan in the Dark Knight trilogy). He kills Portman's family and she is fostered by her neighbor, an assassin, who reluctantly teaches her how to kill so she can avenge her parents. This was Portman's first movie.
I always love your reactions. You’re so devoted to the music. It’s all over your face. After watching I was like maybe I should give them a listen and become a fan. Oh yeah the drummer was bananas . Great reaction !
That's what it's all about.... helping spread the word about good music. Music is a big part of my life because of its benefits.... glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks for watching and for the kind words 😉😊
They deserve to be recognized for what they've done. Gojira and Tool are my 2 favorite bands that people have requested on my page that I was foreign to.... love those heavy riffs!! Thank you for checking out my reaction 👊✌🎵
Me too.... wow, that was a GREAT performance. Maybe I'll check out Flying Whales next because I've heard some positive chatter in regard to that one. THANK you for checking out this reaction 🎵👊🔥🤘
Thanks, Bro.... I've heard this song about 10 times since my reaction (yesterday) and it gets better with each listen. Thanks for you support, I'd knew you'd be digging this one 👊🔥🤘
To answer your question: I've had the pleasure to attend to 5 Gojira gigs. They sound incredible. The musicians play crystal clear riffs. They are heavy, dirty when they need to, and they like to set up weird heavy/ambiant atmosphere in the show as the crowd goes to trances. It a complete experience.
Awesome... just what I wanted to hear you say! I may be seeing them this month when they come with Slipknot. A bunch of heavy bands are coming and I can get tix for a good price. A complete experience is what I'm looking for. Thank you for watching this one and I appreciate you sharing your experience with me 👏🤘
I love the theme of this album and how you broke down the analogy. That’s cool how they are bringing to that attention. Love how you got into it like this with the symbolism
Heaviest Matter of the Universe is the first song I heard by them like a year ago but I don't remember how it sounded.... it was one of those songs I heard while loosely browsing UA-cam. Flying Whales & The Art of Dying are going to be the next 2 Gojira reactions I'll be doing. Thanks for watching and chiming in 😃😉🎵🎧

I guess they were voted the top live band in 2018 by some media outlet. Seeing them live would be awesome, but like you said, they don't tour over here all that often. Thanks for your kind words.... I have to remember those epic rap battles 😉👍
I have a couple of songs to take a look at (very soon) and this is one of them. I'd also like to hear Flying Whales! You nailed it with the live performance because that's where they are at their best (or at least that's what I'm being told). Thanks for watching and the suggestion 👊👍✌🎵

Love the song writing from Gojira. They're so creative with their riffs and drums, feels like nothing else you've ever heard before. Definitely can't hear the insects over their songs :P Highly recommend you check out Toxic Garbage Island or Global Warming for your next reaction vid!
I agree.... very good band. I have a short list of songs I want to react to from them so you can count on it happening. Toxic Garbage seems to be a popular request 👊✌
Love me some Gojira.... my favorite new band (for me) in 2018. These French boys kick some major butt!! Lots more metal to come. Thanks for your support 🤘😀
I appreciate that, Bro.... if you like their sound then I guess they have a bunch of great music. I know that I'm becoming a big fan of them. Thank you for watching ✌🤘👊
Like Nightwish, especially on this song , Gojira... This song literally makes you think that you're in Game of Thrones or fixing to scale a mountain and Hunt Dragons It's just as all of their shows tens of thousands and they've been going strong over 20 years they are one of a kind, no one can touch their sound
I've only reacted to 2 of their songs so far and there's just something about their sound that is different than your typical band. The guitars, vocals, drums are al SOLID. They are one of my favorite new bands that I've learned about because of UA-cam. Can you list me your 5 fav songs by them?
@@DannymikReacts sorry I haven't got the five top songs of Gojira to you real busy lately with all these shootings and stabbings... Makes you wonder what the hell is going on in the world. Anyway other than Type O Negative, Gojira is my favorite band as well. Anyway, 1 - shooting star, 2 - clone, 3 - remembrance, 4 - flying whales, 5 - Silvera, 6 - the cell... Just take any one of their albums and throw a dart, you really can't go wrong when it comes to them. Bonus... A song they can't do live due to the fact that the vocals are at a such a low key, Joe complains and as well explains... But you just wouldn't be able to hear him. But nevertheless it's an awesome song to me and different than a lot of stuff that they've done before and after oh, and it's called... Born in winter. But as most people know and love about him just like Type O Negative... They're just one of the bands of the world, that can't be duplicated, replicated, or even imitated... And those two bands or is the word explains, their own original sound and no one else sounds like. That's rare. That type of originality don't come around that often when it does you can't forget them. Bands like... Zeppelin, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Rush, Molly Hatchet, etcetera. Put it this way, fans that when played... You know who it is after the first few notes. Hope that helped you
My favorite band along with Type O Negative and Nightwish. Gojira is not only Frances hottest band, but on the planet. They are so talented and are one of those bands like Type O Negative, or like tool... That really no one can duplicate or his ever sounded like any of those three bands. But not only that as a drummer that's been playing 24 + years... Mario du plantier is a freak of nature and will humble my ass as if a junior high marching band drummer feeling. No drummer sounds like Mario of Gojira. He does time signatures, create his own Miss steps to where you would think if an amateur... It would seem like a mistake like in the song Awesome song that is, gift of guilt. And just has a way with rudiments... Etc. It can't be described oh, it just has to be experienced and it's hard to stand out not as just an awesome drummer, but the fact that solos even... He does things that I've never even imagined and not just because they're unbelievably complicated but I've never heard it. If you're looking for a drummer that's probably the Apex of all drummers... As far as solos and working 9 different pedals and working all limbs having different rhythms and Beats in tempos at the same time and is a real freak... That would have to go to Thomas Lane without a doubt. But Mario even his solo is unique. Put it this way, I could guarantee she played 10 drummers songs or solos and blindfold I would be able to tell who that drummer was as in Mario's drumming and sound. Reason I say all this because of this video and I've watched it many times. His nickname is the human metronome. At the point of five or six minutes still left of the song... Mario without a skip blazes double bass five or six minutes straight. And once I realized is practice regiment, everyday... He literally double bass slams 1 hour straight, and that would be where his stamina comes from the human metronome
Good god, an hour of practice!!! I might be going to see Gojira and Slipknot in a few weeks. There is a bunch of bands coming with them and I'm pumped. Ohhh man Gojira were in a UK festival - I think in 2014 (which I didn't go to) that otherwise had pretty soft bands , they seemed like a random choice. Who doesn't love a chunky ass riff , and inspired use of monty python clips of course!
The Monty Python clip was perfect for me not being able to spit it out!! I'm a big fan of the very little content I've heard from them. Thanks for checking it out, Conor 👊👍
Your intro is my ringtone! Was unsubbed for some reason but we are back! Watching your first video of them made me a fan of Gojira! OMG the pit was wide open with Penny Wise running through LOL How is his voice so clear? I wonder what he actually sounds like after a concert!
Great GREAT ring tone!! Ohhhhh I bet his throat is somewhat toast after a show. These guys usually a 2-3 days rest after going bananas like that. That clown hahahaha... I hate clowns!! I can't believe he made it through there untouched. Thanks for watching ✌👍🎵🤘
I love Gojira, they’re my favorite band and have been for a few years now. I have never seen them live (but hope to soon) but I’ve heard that they sound amazing live... probably not too much different than how they sound in this video. Other than than, React to Kernel Panic by Alkaloid! They’re an Extreme Progressive Metal supergroup from Germany. Really good metal coming from these guys 🤘🏻
Awesome, Gojira is a band that has me very interested to hear more. I have a few songs in mind for future reactions to them. Thank you for stopping by to check this one out and chiming in. I've never heard of Alkaloid..... German band huh! I may have to do some digging to see what they're all about.... appreciate the support, Robert!
DannymikReacts Toxic Garbage Island and The Art of Dying are must-listens from Gojira! Definitely check out Alkaloid though! Their album they released last year got a high ranking in many Album of the Year reviews.
@@Paddaccini For sure.... fyi, "The Art of Dying", "Flying Whales", "Toxic Garbage Island", and I want to revisit "The Heaviest Matter of the Universe" since I heard a little bit of it about a year ago.
Greg just jammed this band and we listened to it for a minute. Love this band now! The drummer is nuts! Bro that double bass is f*ckn' SIIIICCCKKKKK!!💥💥💥🤘 In the next vid, when shite gets real, you need to dump a bucket of spring water over your head and lose your shite in death screech!! 🤘🤘🤘💪💪💪😈😈😈 what, eh, da, me, gonna seh...lol Love the clips Homey! You up your game every episode, nooicce!!🤘🤘💪 That pit makes me jealous and that f*ckin drummer Bro!!!!! The repetitive shite is my only problem with them.
I agree that the repetitiveness of this song brings is down a tad but it's still awesome on my ears!! I've never been in a pit like that but it does get my adrenaline going just looking at it. That damn clown ran through it without anyone giving him a little chin music (which I would've loved to see). Everything about him is screaming ATTENTION. Anyways, I will do more of their content and now they have raised the bar for what is expected. Thanks for watching and chiming in 👊🤘🔥🎵
@@MiscastEntertainment Not sure if the wife is going to be happy with dumping a bucket of water over my head in the spare bedroom hahahaha and the death screech might be tough on your ears... I'm a metal head and I never heard of them until I started doing this so no worries about that. They are a French band so that might be part of the reason they aren't well known here in the States. Thanks and rock on 🎤✌🎧

I sure do, Ricky. These guys are a French band that obviously sings in English. I plan on seeing them this summer when they come to my city with Slipknot and a bunch of other heavy bands. Should be an epic time! Gojira is no joke, Bro. Thanks for checking it out and I'm happy to see you like another new band.

Just subscribed, and like what you doing... Only one little tiny thing and you might have corrected it by now what does it sounded better what I watched ghost love score by Nightwish... , just a little less of your mic vocal volume, and more volume on the songs you review or the video
Awesome, appreciate your support. Yeah, this song is the worst for my sound levels.... I can't believe I didn't pick up on that when I was editing this. My fault so I apologize. I'm trying my best to edit as best as I can all while learning a new program. You mentioned Type O Negative, a band that I might have only heard 1 song (on the radio). I should dive into them at some point.... thank you for the views and all the AWESOME comments 👏💪👊
@@DannymikReacts as far as Type O Negative suggestions. Like Gojira, throw a dart you can't go wrong because Peter Steele's voice his only made an impact on many people all over the world including myself. Has that voice that's just calm ing. And will never come around again, and putting it with his appearance the perfect Rockstar although he didn't like that life it was a basic Shy Guy. But every one of his songs Type O Negative, he wrote. And depending on what album, it reflected of what was happening to him because all of his songs were usually about the situation he was in or feeling... Usually had females to do with it and how family or women were always screwing him over or life in general. No matter how I'm feeling, even if it's one of his more darker songs for some reason it always makes me feel better, always never fails. Rest in peace Peter. Now as the suggestions for typo. 1 - anesthesia, 2 - love you to death, 3 - world coming down... And listen to the words to that song... Been there done that type of feelings and situation. 4 - In Praise of Bacchus, 5 - everyone I love is dead, 6 - red water, 7 - Green Man, 8 - wolf Moon, 9 - my girlfriends girlfriend, more upbeat but awesome. 10 - any one of their many covers they do of bands they grew up loving, for instance... Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young, Summer Breeze bye Crosby Stills and Nash, and if you want to upbeat as well as the funniest shitt video... You'd have to pick, I don't want to be me. Dan Fogel is from New York as well as all the guys in type one did the video for them... Funny as shit

Thanks for sharing and reacting on all this great stuff! Always enjoy your reaction videos!
This was very powerful... Need a relaxing break now... 😁
Yes please exhale now hahaha. Thanks for the kind words and the continued support 😉😊👊✌
👊
Not my type of music but I love how into it you were. That head a bobbin all around. 😂
At least you found some enjoyment with it.... nothing wrong with going outside the box once in awhile hahaha!! Thanks for watching 😉✌
You have to check out the gift of guilt and the art of dying. Both fucking masterpieces
I do have The Art of Dying in my plans but I've never heard of The Gift of Guilt... thanks for the heads up and for watching 💪👊
Jolie réaction. Vive Gojira
Thanks!! Gojira is some good music✌🤘🔥👊
Thanks for watching and chiming in 👊🤘🔥🎵
@@DannymikReacts Ahhhh, but you didn't address the spring water bucket death screech?!!!
@@MiscastEntertainment Not sure if the wife is going to be happy with dumping a bucket of water over my head in the spare bedroom hahahaha and the death screech might be tough on your ears... I'll probably sound like a little bitch hahaha. I might have to take my reactions outdoors when the sun comes back to Buffalo 😂😂😂😜
I’m totally lame..I never heard of Gojura before.. thanks for the introduction! 😊
I'm a metal head and I never heard of them until I started doing this so no worries about that. They are a French band so that might be part of the reason they aren't well known here in the States. Thanks and rock on 🎤✌🎧
Gary Oldman in Leon: The Professional ;)
You're damn right it's Gary Oldman and he was a BEAST in that movie.... thank you for watching 👊🤘🔥
"- Benny, bring me everyone.
- What do you mean everyone ?
- EVERYONE !!!"
Hi i can't believe i'v never heard of this band
But dam the are awesome and i enjoy this type of music from time to time
Do you know where they come from tho
I sure do, Ricky. These guys are a French band that obviously sings in English. I plan on seeing them this summer when they come to my city with Slipknot and a bunch of other heavy bands. Should be an epic time! Gojira is no joke, Bro. Thanks for checking it out and I'm happy to see you like another new band.
@@DannymikReacts yea some of those band you react to are awesome and it kinda helps me find new bands and it a pleasure watching your stuff
That's one of the reasons I do this channel 👊👏
Thanks for taking my request, great reaction! May I request you listen to Global Warming and the Art Of Dying? Live or studio, none will disappoint!
Oh man, my pleasure.. what a killer ass tune!! The Art of Dying and Flying Whales are on my more immediate radar. Shit, the Gojira fans are starting to come out of the woodwork after this reaction. Thanks for showing up, watching & chiming in 👊🤘👍
wow thank you for reacting my favorite band ... can you react BURGERKILL - INTEGRAL They are one of the best metal bands in Indonesia ... I guarantee you will definitely like it ... thanks 🙏
Seen them twice and they sound better than this live! There really is no better live metal band than the mighty Gojira!!
I barely know any of their content but they are my favorite new band for me... no question about it. I wonder how often they come to the states? Thanks for watching and chiming in 👍👊🤘
Got a bridge it's a breakdown
Roger that!!
Now that's right up your alley... not so much for me ha ;)
Hey new from live. Hope you will join my crew too!
For sure... I'll be paying you a visit.... thanks for stopping by ✌👍😉
How come nobody smoked Pennywise hahaha!!
Hahahaha I hate clowns!!
