Perfectly timed with their 50% off sale! one thing I would add is don’t sleep on their tall sizes (or petite)…some people forget they offer other sizing options. It’s great to have an affordable brand offer tall.
I know some clothes look best with flow. But it is summer, hot and humid, so they have more cotton options. Cotton is the best material for our skin on any weather on any time of the year. It might not have the flow, as you said, but it is the finest material of all time. Also best for sensitive skin
I personally love old Navy and would say a good portion of my summer wardrobe comes from there. I have quite a few maxi sundresses, along with tanks, T’s, shorts etc. I buy their $1 flip flops every summer for when my family comes to visit me in Florida to wear to the pool or beach. I love their boho looks, they just appeal to me. Their performance fleece joggers and sweatshirts are really nice, I’m on my 3rd fall/winter with most of them and they still look nice.
The only way to get Old Navy petite clothing is online. It's amazing that most of the clothes i bought still look great after many washes. It's also great not to have to shorten stuff.
Old Navy yanked their plus sizes before any of us really got a chance to know they had even started stocking them. Very frustrating to not be able to try things on in person rather than doing multiple exchanges because no two pieces fit the same.
I LOVE the vintage tshirts from old navy! They are just about perfect!! I ordered 6 last night in the 50% off sale in different colors. (6 = free shipping. I’m one of those people!). I ordered them in XXL petite. Just got a bleach stain on my lime green vintage tshirt so it’s being moved to the sleepwear drawer. I hope they offer that same color next summer! It’s one of my favs. Really enjoy your videos!! I’m a UA-cam addict! I don’t have cable. I only have notifications turned on for less than 10 channels and yours is one of them!!! 😊😊😊
Aww I love that thank you!! I am also a minimal-subscription UA-camr so I feel honored! 😊 I have tried the vintage tees too and I liked it I just think I need a tall for a little more length!
I like old navy been shopping there since the 90s . You just need to shop in store to look and see the different clothes they have to offer . They also match their online prices in store 😊
Old navy is my favorite store they have really great sales half of my wardrobe is from Old Navy. I recommend getting the credit card and they have a great return policy. I never pay full price for Old Navy clothes almost I save at least 75% per item with sales and having a credit card and I am very picky about what I choose. I don’t want any thing to trendy so I can save for years to come. I love the old navy tops the regular ones I still have the same ones from over 10 years ago.
What drives me the most crazy is their inconsistent sizing. I have from XS to XL🤦🏻♀️. Looking at models helps but reading the reviews is definitely helpful.
You are so right. I have the Rockstar skinny jeans in a 12 but had to buy the colored denim shorts this year in a 14, 12 fit but was kinda tight. Same w/ the sundresses.
I avoid anything slub from Costco too. I wasn't familiar with Old Navy before I did an online order and pretty much all the items (even pants) were a size larger than expected.
We don't have a Costco membership so I've never tried their clothes slub or not. Old Navy is all over the place with sizing I think. I can find some things I like but it helps to just go into a store!
Agree with everything you said. I actuallly have stopped buying jeans at Old Navy because of the massive selection - I just find it too overwhelming and too much effort to have to sift through 50 different styles of jeans to find a pair that are probably not going to last too long. I prefer to pay a little more at a different store for a pair of jeans I know will last for years.
It is overwhelming! I also prefer Kut from the Kloth which are a little pricier but have found Old Navy jeans that I also like when I took the time to search and try a bunch.
GREAT OLD NAVY TIPS!!!❤❤❤😘 I Find more things online when it comes to their bottoms...sizes and styles are VERY limited in the store!!! I have not seen any slub tops in sooooo long!!! Good luck with your new slub tee!!!😂❤❤❤
Thanks for the tips! Slub knit is very unforgiving & gets weirdly misshapen (like if you pull on it in any way, it stays that way forever) & the material starts feeling scritchy & itchy after it's washed. I avoid it, though every now & then I find myself "giving it another chance." 🥴
XXL-> plus sizes can sell out before they go on sale. They don't stock enough of that size. This has been going on forever. There was a dress i wanted, 100% cotton $40. It was restocked 5X's, in 5 colors and the 3 sizes I can wear (incl talls) never went on sale. I have to pay full price to get some colors/syles.
It’s a texture. Can be in silks, polyesters, cotton, wool, etc. The fibers are spun in such a way that thread is thick and thin, so when woven or knitted the fabric has a random texture.
Your Link page isn’t working 😢 New subscriber! Thanks for the video! My daughter just graduated college and she’s found some great work wear from Old Navy!!live the super cash too 😊
@@lesann1896 Thank you, I was wondering about that. Saw them on clearance today at my Old Navy for $6, only in the hot lavender shade which is the one I bought.
Hit Old Navy at the beginning of the season when sweaters are expensive and have mark down ability. I have two pairs of pants that were originally $59. Better quality. Worth every penny at $29. I have a jersey that I bought for my son second hand twenty years ago. Still in great shape after many many washings. Their quality has diminished over the years. I have learned their tee shirts are crap…thin with a twist. Always a twist.
@@jennawcoffee their tee shirts are knit poorly and the graphics have a tendency to shift to the side. The twist might be coming from the 50% polyester core of the threads not shrinking while the cotton 50% shrinks.
I don't buy Old Navy tshirts anymore and definitely avoid the slub knit. They get holes very easily. I am 5'4" and in some dresses I buy the tall size online becyI know dresses made of rayon or cotton will shrink.
@@playingthemomgame I hadn’t tried much from Walmart until recently and found their cheap tank tops to wash especially well. Love your channel and your personality!
I’ve bought and worn lots of old navy clothes for years. I’m happy I can get talls there as I’m 5’10”. Quality can be hit or miss but Ive learned what works and what doesn’t. I wash and hang dry lots of tops as I never want them to shrink, cuz that tall thing. 😅 have a black slub knit t shirt dress from 2017 that’s still great! Style was a bit different then and I wish they’d bring that style back!!

Haha I didn’t even try to time it but if I had looked I would have mentioned it! Thats a good point about all the sizes too!

Yeah for sure! It's definitely helpful to try stuff on so that's annoying they did that.
Interesting video- thanks for posting! I agree with you on the sizing and the slub material. Love Old Navy and their sales are great 👍
Thanks for watching!!

Yes definitely the best is to shop in store! And things are always cheaper online so that is a great tip to price match!
Our store hasn’t allowed price matching. I’m jealous!
I have that red eyelet dress you are showing the beginning and I love it 😂
I’m glad!! It is not my personal style but it’s all about what you like and what feels good!

My closet is a good 60% Old Navy, and I think you nailed it on your advice here! 😂
Thanks!! I’m glad you agree! 😀

Yes the reviews for sure! And then still maybe order a couple sizes…
I've noticed that. If I am a true size L there is no way a S should fit. It's quite confusing!!!
I avoid anything slub from Costco too. I wasn't familiar with Old Navy before I did an online order and pretty much all the items (even pants) were a size larger than expected.
Old Navy does tend run a bit big or boxy. But not always which is so frustrating.

@@playingthemomgame I think better quality items get labeled as "best sellers" and are exempt from most sales.
The one thing I can count on being a great buy at Old Navy are jeans! I always catch them on clearnace too so $8 is the average price ive paid
Wow $8 is great!
I could be wrong but isn't slub a type of fabric?
Is it?
Well I kind of looked it up and it seemed like a texture or the way they make the fabric?
It’s a texture. Can be in silks, polyesters, cotton, wool, etc. The fibers are spun in such a way that thread is thick and thin, so when woven or knitted the fabric has a random texture.

Eyelet!🤣
Oops! 😬
Speaking of ruffles, I bought the ribbed tank w/ ruffled sleeves when they were on sale for $8. Heard that it does not stand up to washing. :(
Shoot! I hate reading reviews like that after I buy them!
The tank with the double ruffle does not wash well- you have to iron awhile to make them look good
@@lesann1896 Thank you, I was wondering about that. Saw them on clearance today at my Old Navy for $6, only in the hot lavender shade which is the one I bought.

Yes!!
Eyelets.

Yeah I just don't think they are very well made. I think going into it you have to think of them as emergency t shirts haha.
I have found that you can see right through the slub…not for me either…
I would not buy plastic shoes from Old Navy or anywhere.
Their swimsuits are great but this year there is no butt coverage 😮
I have one from Old Navy that I bought last year and it is decent coverage but I haven't tried them this year and I'm not surprised!
Old Navy clothes wash terrible. Beyond cheap. Walmart is even better - by A LOT.
I had had both experiences- clothes that wash well and clothes that don’t. I haven’t tried much from Walmart though!
