Was 15 or 10th grade when Boston first came out , LOVED THEM. Cover art really sold me on buying the album at the time. Long long-awaited 2nd album came out year I graduated. Great bands at that time of my life. Boston, Aerosmith, Rush, Queen, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Styx, Nugent, Frampton, Kiss, Steve Miller. From Rock, Hard (Power) rock, Southern Rock, Blues Rock. Wide variety and styles to listen to and love. Controversy or shock singers Bowie, Elton John, Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa.
This MUSIC withstands the test to time BIG time! Tom Shultz engineer/producer/musician extraordinaire is Boston and was extraordinarily way WAY ahead of his time like luminaries Steve Jobs and Elon Musk - this music is as fresh today as the day it was born.
I saw them in about 76. They couldn't at all reproduce the harmonies that were on the first album. It's nice to know that in 2017 their harmonies were great live. Bob Segar opened up the show in 76, he was a hard act to follow! Are they still touring?
This guy is better than Delp live . Delp burnt his voice out and sounded horrible live after just a few years. How they are doing it is only to the over sang vocal by Delp on the first album
It’s only a cover band when there are no original members left. Tom Scholz founder of Boston is the only original member left therefore it’s still Boston!
@@ericlikestowander7510 in all fairness, Boston was always only Tom. He was so anal in management of the band, everyone else was just a touring band to his studio albums.
@@resolutexian Don't get me wrong. I loved Boston's first, second and I somewhat enjoyed the third album. However, any Boston album after Don't Look Back is Scholz’s studio geekery/freakery and it got worse with time. No. Tom is only a control freak and a nuisance to all around him. As much as Scholz is the brains behind Boston, Delp was the voice, and it ain’t Boston without Brad Delp. Rest in peace, Brad. Considering the lengths that Tom when to to dethrone Brad... It doesn't leave much doubt, in my mind, as to why Brad took his own life... Look at Scholz’s credits on the Boston album, Corporate America: Bass, Guitar, Drums, Guitar (Electric), Keyboards, Vocals, Art Direction . . . that’s pretty much everything, right? To hell with Tom the control freak!
Saw them in concert in the late 70's absolutely fantastic !! This sounds like a sideshow at a carnival , sorry guys,... If they came up with their own material I think they would be good.
Amazing that such a technical/engineering minded individual could also write all of the music and lyrics. Tom Sholz is a Renaissance man. Sad that his need for perfection and recognition kept his creations away from his fans for years at a time. On another note, the vocals and harmonies here are far superior to the original band’s live sound.

The good old days.
70s and 80s rock was the best
That is not the good old days. The good old days is with the original members
Tom Scholtz still blows my mind.

Tom should team up with Brian May

Boston without Delp is like Funk without Farner
Woow, hoffentlich spielt boston mal in westeuropa!
They didn’t pass back the marriage Joo ja juna
When a
They're not Boston without Delp.
The vocals and harmless here are WAY better than the original band ever did live.
Only one original member, it's a clone band now.
Clone to perfection 🙂🙂😀😀😀🙂🙂
The original was one member, Tom Scholz.
Tom didn't have a band when he created this masterpiece. The only thing missins were the vocals of Brad and the drums.... Still brilliant.
Sholz was the band in the beginning.
si no estoy mal.recien murio el.vocalista.
No....original vocalist (Brad) died years ago.
“Boston” cover band 😒
Huh???

@@resolutexian that is true. Because of this he was disliked by most of his band mates.

Cómo se atreven a poner una canción incompleta, es basura !
Yuk,danm that sounds like crap...See them back in the 70's and man they were amazing,,,,kinda sad really...
I watched the Giants concert video and this is MUCH better on instruments, vocals , and everything.

@@JD-ig5vr They? The music is like all Tom.
Starting out with 3 minutes of boring pseudo classical arpeggios is wearing out your welcome.
It’s what the crowd came for.
Do you want your money back?
