Eddie Money was the epitome of a true rock and roll star and this is an underrated hidden gem. Eddie has one of the most distinctive voices in all of rock. You are missed.
Are you F' ing kidding me ??, shaking??? sooo many iconic songs!! The summer I graduated..1985..my sister and I drove from Cadilkac Michigan to Ontonagon Michigan...11 fucking hours and were STILL in Michigan and all we had was Eddie's " where's the party" cassette. she went insane...I fell in Love!!!
Your songs got me through a lot of tough times, and now that you are up there and not down here, I continue to listen to them....to get by...RIP dear Eddie Money
EDDIE MONEY LEGEND! I tell this story a lot, but everyone should know how great of a guy he is. I met him, backstage at a club in NY in 2000. He was the coolest guy you'd ever wanna meet. He was hilarious! He was cracking us up. Great sense of humor, humble, and just cool as hell. If you just met him, not knowing who he was, you'd never know he was a mega star for 10-12 years. I've never forgotten that experience, and I hope, one day, I get to meet him again.
One of my favorites from Eddie Money regardless of how it did on the charts just a great song oh the 80's great era in music as for those who say not his best to each his own just don't listen to it :-)
Eddie Money was so important in my life! I adored him and thought he was so talented, I remember where I was the first day I heard this...Albertson’s parking lot waiting on my Mother to come out, I had a first date that night that was monumental to me...shout out to Keith Weathers!
Great song... most of Eddie's songs have a haunted vibe to them, he is so ahead of his time, with his lyrics, tunes, and singing, so damned good, all of your songs!
I also met Eddie Money at, beleive it or not a golf tournament. Super nice guy a little wacky and funny. I met him and Michael Bolton both of whom where very down to earth nice guys. Eddie and Michael both signed autographs for me and my kids. Hope to meet them again. BTW - Love the music!
The Money Man had SO MANY Great tunes other than "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Two Tickets to Paradise"......this is one, He's one of my favorite artists along with The Who, Foghat, The Doobie Brothers, Rainbow, The Black Crowes, Molly Hatchet, man too many to list! 😀
Bless your heart. I did hear it on the radio. It's my favorite of his songs. Have you seen his commercial from a few years ago? ua-cam.com/video/PWTgwvh4v1w/v-deo.html
It was a disappointment when you compare it to the likes of "Baby Hold On," "Two Tickets to Paradise" and later tracks like "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Walk on Water."
Didn't do much on the charts. Don't know why. It was better than "Think I'm in Love", I thought. (Well, the original version of "I Wanna Go Back" didn't do much on the charts either that year, so there you go.) Hell, it even got its own Charlie perfume spoof commercial. Eddie (R.I.P.) did say Columbia Records sunk that album by picking "the wrong single," but I assumed he meant that other single and not this.
Too much synth & drum machines, not enough guitars. Not a bad song, but not a great song, either. Very dated sound. I'm not surprised it wasn't a hit. He had WAY better than this.

Great Vid
Another criminally underrated track. The chorus. The instrumental sounds. The visuals are everything. I have not seen MV more indicative of the 80s
Good song I remember it in my early teens.
I was born in 1996. This song and "Shakin" by the Money man make me wish I was a teenager/early twenties in the eighties.
One of many many Eddie Money songs I never get tired of.
His voice was unique. So long Monsieur l'artiste
This is so early 80’s and it’s awesome! I remember this song as a teenager.
I'll bet if they played this over the air today, it'd be a huge hit! Few would remember it and would love this arrangement. Big hit!
From New York cop to a billboard top ranking artist - a true Cinderella story. He was a tremendous sound that was gritty and could slam as needed. WOW
Then he drank it all away
What's wrong with being police officer.
Your songs got me through a lot of tough times, and now that you are up there and not down here, I continue to listen to them....to get by...RIP dear Eddie Money
Me Too!!.❤
What class were you? I was 1984?
All of my favorite singers have left us way too soon!
Eddie Money
"Club Michelle"
Where's The Party?
Columbia Records, 1984
Eddie Mahoney ex new York cop turned rock star and became Eddie money
One of my allt time favorites. It is Eddie's Love is a Battlefield. Should have been a major hit.
This song is his most 80s song. It leans towards the New Wave realm.
Eddie looked awesome in this video!! Prayers for the family and friends. RIP.
EDDIE MONEY LEGEND!

It did chart but not very high. This was a great song but must have not been promoted enough. Many people missed out on this song.
Eddie money is so under rated ❤️
Great song you will be missed.

Love this song. I used to have the album. I think I still do.
Great memories with this song 1984.

Eddie Money's music is Awesome!!😃 Love all his songs. 🎶🎵💕💙🎙🥁🎸🥰🎼🎤🎵🎶💜🎶
Make music like this again popular
Eddie could rock
Another hard-to-find-in-a-cd song.
That's right, neither this nor the album it was on ever cracked the Top 40: this song peaked at no. 66, and the album at no. 67.
Eddie's brief foray into a more new-wave direction.
One of my favourite eddy money songa
I adored this song, but of course my name is "Michele", M.
もっとヒットして欲しかった曲ですね~
エディ本人は不満があった時期らしいけど、それでもやっぱり良い曲だし、ビデオもかっこいい♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
great song, never heard on radio.. since my birth 1980 to 1989
Bless your heart. I did hear it on the radio. It's my favorite of his songs. Have you seen his commercial from a few years ago?
ua-cam.com/video/PWTgwvh4v1w/v-deo.html
The original album "Where's The Party?" is the 1st vinyl LP I bought. Is it still available somewhere? I miss it...
Bill Graham, EMs manager makes a cameo appearance and the Blond is his first wife.
I love this song and this video...anyone know where it was filmed??
Knew to well
yes!!!
dunno but its the same girl who was in his video,"Think I'm in Love"
Yes. His first wife.
cocaine is a hell of a drug, love the head whips.....classic song though
@CMUBrent It also came out on CD after the format was made, but it's extremely hard to find!
@WineSippingCowboy This song and "The Big Crash" are both on the CD "We Are the 80s: Eddie Money".
Best Eddie Money song ever!
entered Billboard Feb 25, 1984 ..reached #66
It was a disappointment when you compare it to the likes of "Baby Hold On," "Two Tickets to Paradise" and later tracks like "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Walk on Water."
Big Crash n this were classics!!
@CMUBrent THANKS! :)
💯❣
And you gotta love the cheesy 80s dancing...
YOU DO LOVE THIS SONG ME 2 !! HEY JULIE YOU TAKE CARE AND SAFE IN THESE PANDEMIC DAYS TURNING INTO YEARS??? Michael schamma .
looks to be about february- early april '84....alot like Fear City, Calender Girl Murders. Terminator, and Choose Me.
Anyone found the crazy song he might off being talking about? That goes “Whoo-ooo-oh-oooh” Please share
12 people don't wanna go to club Michelle
14 now. Screw 'em.
Great song, but I actually way prefer the audio cassette version (the CD uses this same music video mix) which is really rare.
RIP
@Olokunful I call BS
There have and always will be Teen Idols even in the golden age that was the 80s.
Rip
This is my favorite Eddie Money song off all time.
Obviously you’re a novice
Didn't do much on the charts. Don't know why. It was better than "Think I'm in Love", I thought. Man Eddie do you know what this did for me?, Michele.
Does anyone know who the girl in the club is?
Girl at the club happens to look a bit like Michelle from Mamas and Papas.
And the twirling guy looks like Money's label mate, MJ
This was not one of Eddie's better songs, for the LP it came off of was the lowest charting in his career.
OH EDDIE,Club Amber is wayyyyy better than club michelle...
oh Eddie, believe me,Club Amber is wayyyy better than Club Michelle....
Too much synth & drum machines, not enough guitars. Not a bad song, but not a great song, either. Very dated sound. I'm not surprised it wasn't a hit. He had WAY better than this.
Money looks a little too much like Bob Saget in some of the scenes.
