This man looks so gentle and kind, even his husky voice is full of gentleness and kindness! His eyes and his smile too! He really was the best choice for the role of Sanji! And he put so much heart and effort into it, so much love and respect for the character! Bravo, really, he deserves success! What's more, we see him in the BSTs, he's so attentive to others! And his laugh is Communicative, it's a breath of oxygen when I hear it. Sanji has been my favorite character for 20 years, and I was worried about the live action, but Taz Skylar is really perfect. I just love him!
It's so true like everytime in One Piece I never see Sanji serving himself a plate, I'm sure he just ate quickly and enjoyed cooking and serving others. It's so sweet how Taz is similar!

When he was like "i fall in love quick like sanji" i was like "yes, they definitely picked the perfect person to play sanji" hahhaa, but all jokes aside, Taz did a tremendous job portraying sanji, just like everyone else
My only problem with him now is that it seems from the trailers that he was just wearing a wig instead of growing his hair which disappoints me but other than that yeah he’s the perfect Sanji and I like that he’s Arabic too because I’m Arabic
God I relate hard to what he says about cooking for other people vs myself… If I’m with people I love love love making food but if I’m by myself I’m just like “time for canned soup” lmao
It might just be a coincidence, but when he was mentioning the crew and their pictures, he mentioned the others minus Zoro. Might have been an accident, but if not, that is dedication to their bit or he has internalized a bit of Sanji.
i'm happy for his answer and personality, he seems like a nice and honest person. he doesn't makes up story and tell the truth that he is not a foodie person, but he gives me the cool-side vibes of sanji. truly legend.
that selfless attitude of not putting effort when it comes to himself only, but putting his heart out when doing things for others is so much like Sanji
Whoa this is such a good interview, the interviewer had a lot of good and intresting questions and Taz is full of charisma even when he serious, thats honestly a really good talk!
*Im very particular about what it is that I’m doing and I wanna do it very very well* I can obviously tell that he definitely has this trait from the way that he put his all into playing Sanji. I was very captivated by him as a person and his fighting scenes were spectacular that I literally rewatched his scenes like a thousand times and I’m still not over it. Taz Skyler is the most perfect human being ever and I couldn’t imagine and don’t want to imagine anyone else playing Sanji.
What a mature young guy! Reaaaaally seam fits with Sanji! The more I see the cast talk, the more excited I get! Hope the changes aren't too jarring and the writing is good! It's is looking like it's going to be awesome and I'm hyped!

TL;DR Yeah, apparently, I had a lot to say...sorry 😅). This was a great interview done well, and Taz is honestly one of the most wholesome and genuine people I've seen in a while! I mean...wow! Like honestly, wow. Because from the moment I first saw the teasers, the cast listing, and the little snippets they were able to release bit by bit, I had a feeling this set of cast members, especially the Straw Hats, would be some of the most genuine people I've personally seen in a minute. I'll admit that I was a little on the fence about it at first (as with most Live Action adaptations), but see the growth and like another person commented, seeing their journey, has such a great experience that every single person who had a hand in making the first installment should be immensely proud and happy of the work, commitment, dedication, EVERYTHING, into this work! ❤ Iñaki, Taz, and Emily are my faves so far, and this interview just proved that even more. You did a wonderful job with the interview, Ms. Bhutani! This is my first from your work since I don't usually watch interviews, but I got interested because it involved one of my new favorite people! Keep at it!! And as for Taz, your answers were the icing on top. The fans can definitely tell you've put a lot into this role and this project, but from the bit of searching I did I can tell you're a very dedicated and caring man yourself! Oda did fantastic choosing not only you but the rest of the cast. We honestly couldn't have had a better fit for Sanji! I can't wait to see other works you do and have already done. P.S. Your training bro is just 👏🏾 Any fans still worried about the fighting style baffles me. It's gonna be fire no matter what! 🔥

It's been such a nice journey to know the cast and particularly to know Taz, I don't think any other actor would be able to bring sanji to life the way he's going to do it, and I'm just really excited to see what's in store for us (also, I may or may not be a little bit in love with him lol)
Given how the character Sanji doesn't value himself, I honestly think the not-putting-effort into food just for him would be actually pretty on brand for him, too. Like, this character's most formative years were awful, and he wasn't loved or respected at all in his childhood - it's hard for a person who would have gone through that and be able to see themselves as valuable and worth caring for. Just my thoughts.

When I first saw the pictures I was so hesitant about Taz . I don’t know why. He looked too . Popular guy stereotype or something . But holy. He is the best casting . Everyone seems great (except Mackenyu to me for some reason) but he has learned to cook, kickbox, and he is so happy and genuinely loving . He is the perfect casting for my favourite Strawhat
@@calkenshawtyyhe might act great, but visually I feel a bit weird about him too. Especially next to Sanji, in the anime I think Zoro is the more manly, and here he is a bit feminine looking
