He deserves the world! I remember when the casting was first announced and he was getting shit on the most out of all the straw hat actors, which was really unfair considering the complete lack of information anyone had. He's proven everyone wrong, amazing job!
This is why I feel like I’m the only one who really doesn’t care about the casting for season 2. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m probably not gonna know a single one of their names (the world will soon), but they’re probably going to be fantastic anyway. I want to avoid passing judgement on the casting before the actors get a chance to prove themselves, unless that Lucas kid gets cast as Ace. I’ve already passed my judgement on him unfortunately 💀 But the bottom line is if they get picked by Oda and the rest of the team, then they were picked for a reason.

Taz is such an amazing human being and a huge inspiration. Just listening to him is pure joy. They couldn't pick a better person to play Sanji. He proved himself a thousand times over and he has all my love 💜
His story honestly sounds not so different from Sanji‘s backstory. Among his siblings he was the only one that sucked at fighting. But he went on to become stronger than any of them - all while keeping his compassion.
I never understood why people get so jumpy immediately when casting is revealed. When he was cast as Sanji I just needed to be shown what he could do. Looking like the character is a lot easier in costume and makeup but becoming the character is something you can only see on screen. Always withhold judgment
Exactly! I think I’m alone in this, but I don’t really care about the casting news for season 2 because I don’t want to cast judgement on actors that I haven’t given a chance. I have come to terms with the fact that they’re most likely going to all be relatively unknown actors, and that’s ok. All of the actors who get cast are cast for a reason. Ya gotta trust in Oda and the rest of the team to do what they do and make sure it’s a good adaptation.

He literally hasn't done anything yet, but people have been saying nasty things over and over while the other 4 main cast members have been getting support. In the very first 24 hours after the announcement of the Straw Hats, part of the fandom, including me, began to look for the acting work of these guys. There were some jokes and quibbles about the appearance of all the guys (some people even found fault with Kiki’s curls, I can't..!.), but they were relatively harmless and quickly disappeared. But the negativity on Taz's social media continued. Outwardly, Taz is larger than Sanji and has short hair, but is this important in an actor in the first place? (Moreover, damn it, he was off stage.) The main thing is the acting. Appearance is important, but without acting, it means nothing. With acting, appearance fades into the background. Finding something with Taz turned out to be the most difficult (Jacob also has few roles, but they were on the surface), but we managed to do it. Perhaps someone remembers the video where Taz stands and smokes at the stove (already, as it were, well, you understand...). It was a small piece from a short film starring Taz. This work closed the question for me about the quality of his acting skills once and for all. “He will do the best job,” that’s what was in my head then. Confident that his acting will be one of the best, if not the best, that we, One Piece fans, will see. "He will definitely cope with the role of Sanji". After the series came out, my opinion has not changed. Taz Skyler's performance is one of the best acting works in OPLA. I wish him more big roles with all my heart because with his skills he could become one of the coolest actors of our time. At least it seems so to me. I don't know about others, but the hate towards him really bothered me. And I’m still worried that the fandom, which I was used to seeing as my personal island of peace and happiness, behaved this way. There are no bad comments right now. Taz received so much love, tenderness and support that the time before the premiere seems like a nightmare. It couldn't help but hurt. I wish he never had to experience those months. People nowadays are too quick to pass judgement. At first, everyone was like "Hey who cast Taz to play Sanji? One Piece live action's gonna fail, can never be as good as the original anime/manga" etc etc. Now everyone is going crazy about the live action, and ESPECIALLY SANJI! I mean, my fave character from One Piece is Sanji (the whole strawhat crew's my favourite, they all rule, but I relate mostly to Sanji), and I can say that the very moment I saw Taz kicking at the Baratie scene, I realized they had found Sanji's twin brother. No one could ever be more perfect to play Sanji, no living being can change my opinion on this matter. I'm just very annoyed that the same people who at first disliked Taz's acting are now in love with Sanji's rizz! Like, couldn't you guys just wait for the master to finish the masterpiece before commenting on it? 🙄 Taz IS Sanji. Period.

In season 2, I predict the final fight would be Luffy vs Crocodile, Zoro vs Mr. 1 ("My favorite is number 1" based on Zoro's comment about Mr. 7 in season 1), Sanji vs Bon Clay, Nami vs Miss Doublefinger, and Usopp and Chopper vs Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas. In season 2, they will surely have epic one-on-one battles. The one chasing the Straw Hats in season 1 is Garp, but now in season 2, it's Smoker (probably Dragon will appear and save Luffy). In the final scene of season 1, they made a barrel oath; probably in season 2, they will end the season with a farewell 'X' mark to Vivi.
Well I wasn't hating so I'm free of guilt tbh they all looked accurate to me especially sanji and usopp what i was worried about was the writing direction and effects and yeah the acting They surpassed me expectations in the acting and effects Some writing changes i hated and some i loved The direction was good but some parts were weird
Zoro was more of a punk in the anime. In the live action, he is more emo like Sasuke. Luffy is more rowdy and more violent in the anime. They just kind of made everyone a bit nicer in the live action, lol
