  • This vintage sideboard is nearly unrecognizable with its flashy new black coat and gorgeous natural wood base!
This piece took DAYS to do, after all of the repairs and prep, but so worth every hour spent. High contrast, upscale, and sophisticated vibes here!

Love your channel Angie! I'm a proponent of saving items from the landfill and your upcycled pieces are so inspiring. I bought an old sideboard 30 years ago that wasn't in great shape then. After many years of neglect from the hands of former tenants I thought the piece had finally reached the end of its lifespan. You've inspired me to look at the piece with fresh eyes and give it a new life. On a side note, you always put a smile on my face when you use recognizable food containers like the Tim Hortons cup and the Tre Stella containers😂 Cheers🇨🇦

I've never started watching one of your videos and not watched it all the way through. This is true even of those ones that didn't have a delightful rescue bunny interlude. Love watching you (and bunnies too) give old pieces new life. Love the two-tone look and the pulls you picked. Weirdly this piece now strongly reminds me of the confessional at our old church. You do beautiful work.

You really do “transcend” furniture, Angie. I commented last night on an older video of yours and the incredible quality of your work, bc of all that you put into every piece you do. And this is another gorgeous result of that work! Love the coal black against the natural wood and the gold pulls just knocks it out it of the park!
Plus bunnies!! I love that y’all foster until the find a “furever” home😊💜. We have 2 rescue dogs, an older cat who was also a rescue and my daughter is a vet tech who’s currently fostering a kitten (each vet tech at her work took 1 of 3 to foster until they find a “furever” home). Thx for these videos!

I had no idea that piece of furniture could ever look that good. It started out truly F-ugly, and as always, you made it beautiful! It's one thing to know how to fix problems on a piece of furniture, tighten this, glue that, but it's quite another to have a vision for how it would actually look beautiful enough to have someone want to pay for it to be in their home! Wow Angie, you picked the right line of work! What's the saying... "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life"? Something like that. Another successful, gorgeous piece going back out into the universe! Great Job!

My brother in law used to make no screw, nail, fastener furniture. This reminds me of his stuff. He used to make these amazing beds that didn’t have any fasteners. They were basically puzzles and if you had to take it apart to move you could just put it back together when you got there. Putting it together was half the fun. Lol

What a lovely job. But the best thing is the way you talk through every decision, every process, and every mistake. I learned a lot from this video.

I can't get over how much I don't like Black, but love your coal Black furniture! The way the shape of the blobs matches the shape of the doors is fantastic. I really love that you showed all of the repairs. For just about every repair you do, I see an example in my old furniture. I have a schoo desk that's split.
