How do you know if a piece of flipping furniture is previously stained and how do you know wether it's oil or water based stain. Real question. I want to flip a couple pieces for my own place.
You can typically tell just by looking at it if it’s been previously restored. Water base and oil base really doesn’t matter if you are stripping it down. But you can use water based stain but I feel the oil based soaks in better. The top coat I always use water based because it dries a lot faster.

Could not watch the drumming in the back ground is annoying.
Thank you for the feedback. I’m new to UA-cam and making videos and I’m still working on my editing.
This piece turned out absolutely beautiful! Your work is impeccable and I really enjoy your videos. But I do have to say the clapping or clicking noise accompanying your video is very annoying. Please leave that out next time. You don’t need any thing besides your beautiful work and you talking about it.
Thank you so much for the compliment and constructive criticism. I’m fairly new to UA-cam and I’m still learning to have a happy medium for my videos. Thank you again. I will keep this advice in mind
This was great except for that awful music. Couldn't turn it down or I'd miss what you had to say.
Thank you. Ok new to UA-cam and I’m still trying to figure how to put my videos together. It’s a work in progress.
