Also the reason for using regular super combat potions is for situations where you need to use brews and restores. Since divine potions don't play nice with stat reductions
You can mix them. For ToB, you bring 1 divine super combat. Then when you brew down, you restore up and sip a normal super combat, and it will keep your stats for the remaining time if the divine
I love these little is it worth it vids cause it helps me understand why something is good or bad and pick for myself instead of following a cookie cutter build.
Love this video, haven’t played in months but I love to see the actual breakdowns to see cost/xp. Same with the Piety video these deserve so much love.
ik the comments section is dead by this point but i find regular super combats to be good for afk nmz because i dont have to worry about managing absorptions while keeping health 11+ to compensate for the 10hp hit divines & it is more chilled than having to keep an eye out for overload timers running out, just come back every few mins to top up on absorbs, rock cake back to 1hp & sip another pot
You forgot to consider that many people prefer more AFK training and thus waiting up to around 8 minutes to pot might make more sense for monsters like greaters, hellhounds, and fire giants. This could be a reason to prefer the regular super combat potion over the divine. Plus, potting less often means you bring less pots and have more inventory space and/or can stay at monsters for longer. Also, the divine makes you take 10 damage each sip which should also could contribute to a decision in many cases.
the increase in dps from staying boosted by divines is basically always worth even when you want afk and the damage argument is fair but if you can afford an sgs that problem is non existant
wow really surprising, I never would have believed that. I'm impressed with your videos too it seems like your math is good and you're doing these comparisons the right way awesome!
Haven't watched it yet. My main's bank is ~700m in value and i only bring combats to places i really need inv spaces like gargoyle boss. Im used to letting my character hit mob, drink super att, let another attack thru to not waste a tick, drink super str, wait for hit, drink super def. Hell now that i think about it, i always bring em to NMZ, so i could prob go beyond my 4 hour limit at afk training. edit: only use divine super ranged, either at basilisk knights or vorkath.
Don’t divines only last 5 mins? I use regulars because I don’t want to repot every 5 minutes. I usually let the super combat go down 10 levels then repot, unless its a boss or something actually strong.
Ferocious gloves and Rapier/Saeldor for a near maxed set up. Inferno Cape is the only exception as some maxed player with 1b total exp don't even have it done which is kind of sad, but...whatever. They will have a rapier and ferocious at least though which adds 2 max hits total. Makes a different when you are making a vid comparing.
꧁ ꧂ no I know, but he recommended divine super set so divine att str def. I would never actually use it but I was just wondering if it was drop you by 30 hp
Opportunity cost. The time saved from using the potion can be used to make money to make up for the extra cost of the potions. If you can make over 660k/h, it is worth it. For example, since divine potions give 5% faster xp, you end up saving 3 minutes of slaying for the cost of around 35k. So, if I can make over 700k/h (different from the 660k/h because of rounding), which comes from 35k spent divided by 0.05 hours saved (3 minutes), I end up with more money or xp than if I used super pots and didn't do my money maker for those 3 minutes.

Divines cannot be used with the Lunar spell Boost Potion Share. So regular Super Combat Potions are great when Bossing with a partner on long trips.

You didn't actually link the DPS calc btw

best option imo is regular super attacks and divine super strengths when you have the inv space and wanna save money but maximize dps

Lots of afk training with prayer on makes the defence component pretty useless. I switched to zammy brews a few months back and haven't looked back
This is big brain af
delete this bro, prices will rocket if ppl find out
Haven't watched it yet.

Thank you sir merry Christmas
Here for the purple guy
Next video: is preserve prayer worth it?
I'd like to see that
Yes, 100%.
Super set without the def everyday of the week lol
I play on 1 defence tho ;3
Awesome video, i think im investing in div combat pots
What about using preserve?
Just use divine super combats unless you're using brews to heal the cost is so low it doesnt matter
barbarian potion mixes. and usses. a zamorak mix+ resore mix. counds intresting.
Informative and well presented. Love the vids!
Thanks dad

You're better off repotting more often. The amount of extra damage you do means more kills so more xp/ drops and that easily pays for the potions.
Rubs I’m mostly just lazy/afk. You are definitely right though.
Second comment:) always enjoy your videos man you actually pulled me back into Runescape
I re pot when I can boost +10
You sound like RegisKilban (maybe spelled wrong) he is a hearthstone youtuber
Not super combat, the other three.
He's a goofy goober ya!
BATTLE AXE ONLy
Ferocious gloves for the high level?
no, he likes bcp more, because, you know, more str bonus upgrade from torso than the glove switch :)
@@6500s1 BCP and Fighter Torso have the same strength bonus, the only difference is the defensive stats and a +1 prayer bonus.

Every 6 minutes using preserve
Fun
Would a divine super set drop you 30 hp?
The divine super combat is a combination of all 3
꧁ ꧂ no I know, but he recommended divine super set so divine att str def. I would never actually use it but I was just wondering if it was drop you by 30 hp
@@AidanBeans every divine potion you drink drops 10 hp. So yes it will drop you 30 hp.
Where is the 660k coming from?

Lets just be honest divine super combats are so cheap that you should just always use them if youre not using brews
mmm...... I have hard feelings about this video... don't really think this is very credible
Care to expand? Edit: why?*
He analyzed it with math... so where was the math wrong? You are making that statement with nothing to back it up
