Ah, the Bandit. Don't care what kind of bikes exist these days, you cannot beat the look, reliability, and serviceability of an oldschool Bandit 1200. As an owner of a Bandit 650, I'm looking at getting a 1200 (not 1250, FI stuff is just irritating to deal with and I know my way around carbs anyway). If I ever get one of these, the first thing that's going on it is a phat turbo, it just suits the bike's aesthetic so damn much. Excellent build, even if it does need a bit of a tune lmao.
Did you ever get that Bandit? Commenting to remind you. Got a 1250 myself and love it for the reliability and insane torque. Love carb bikes but having an injected bike in the stable is a nice thing sometimes.
I am just amazed at the caliber of people that you have surrounded yourself with...& maybe it wasn't all your doing, but Divinely Orchestrated by the Only One Worthy of that kind of recognition. Be blessed.
Justin is an amazing person known as boosted on UA-cam. He will melt your brain like Ken Kaplan and Justin just did what an amazing motorcycle! Thank you, Ken Kaplan and boosted Kaplan cycles number one you guys melted my brain saying it will do nines or eights. That's a jet😮🔥
Had to rewind when he said 600 to 800 hp! Make sure he said it correctly! Took my dads 1200c Beamer out one time 1/2 throttleto 60 mph. My neighbors dog try to bite of the tires. I definitely was blessed that day! God bless everyone!
Eine geile Konstruktion mit der Bandit, hier in Deutschland nicht zulassungsfähig. Aber ein Super Klang. Ich hatte auch mal eine, ein tolles Motorrad. ✌️
If you shut it down immediately after running the motor at high RPM that may be a little soon, but there will still probably be sufficient lube there, but still not advisable. Always run top spec oils suited to your machine anyway, cheap is cheap and you will probably encounter a cheap loss at some stage. Once the turbo has spooled down which doesn't take very long then there isn't an issue. Turbo's are a reliable long lived component as has been demonstrated over many years by their use in heavy vehicles, earth moving equipment etc with many of the heavy vehicles doing in excess of a million miles without the turbo having to be touched ... regular servicing with good quality oils is the key.
It’s funny Ken that you say HOTROD HARLEY . 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You too funny Funny haha no funny queer. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 And standing next to a real HOTROD J in think I saw the camera shake , were you dodging lightning bolts? You have the best job in the world, glad you can do what you love and make a living. That is /should be everyone’s dream. Hopefully you and Justin will inspire each other for a long time. This is what utube is about ( for me anyway) Thanks
VERY NICE . I'M DEFINITELY A BIG FAN OF THE KAWASAKI - H 2 . The only problem it has is the fact that it's Kawasaki LOL I'm just not a big fan of the green simply because they're not as reliable as Yamaha or Honda. But the H2 maybe pretty reliable, I have no idea. I'd like to pick up a used one sometime. What I would really like to see is Yamaha copy the concept with the R1 and release a supercharged R1. All the footage I've watched about the H2 seems it's quite the Untouchable Beast! Pretty much decapitates the competition. Great Channel! ✌🏾🌈☀️
Yr. talking about drag racing? Oh my goodness there's that guy over in Dayton Ohio. (what's his name). He has made a lifetime business around drag racing bikes. He's got a vid with him and his bike out there next to the corn fields. He's got some kind of a first ever record. I did not subscribe. Oh well. Not gonna turbo charge either of my Bandits. (hauling in a 600 on Tuesday to compare to my 1200). fbMP so bad. The price was a gift. Oh yea. Where is Kaplan? And Ok Ok Ok I guess I need to subscribe here. My bad. You've got a couple of nice posts with Bandits. ~ It's been that BJ guy at Brickhouse Builds near St.Louis ~ all his fault. Honda's first now Suzukis. ~ Those four barrel carbs. Love those. No problemo. 💥👍💥
Zur Zeit fahre ich eine Bandit/2003 GSF 1200 S.Tolles Motorrad.bin aber stark an einer GSX/R 1300 BKing interessiert.(Traumbike) Mal schauen es klappt.
This kid is like MacGyver of motorcycles. He was a real find for the shop Ken.

What a monster. How have you not ridden this bike Ken. I'm sure you must have had the invitation? Always a treat to see your vids.
I have to agree on that going to a speedway, would be the only way to get the ultimate rush of the turbo in the safest way
Love the Bandit…with a turbo! He’s a good kid, Ken
Justin is a very innovative motorcycle mechanic!
Seems like a great guy! Cool bike! Thanks for the features.
The air / oil cooled 1200 is a classic engine. Loved mine

Great vid and beast of a bike - any idea if its running busa pistons + rods and pro boost or other turbo kit ? Cheerz
Exhaust looked a little oily at first, but seemed to clear out when warmed up.
Yeah, I saw that too but I think him and Billy ran the bikes quite hard on the 24 hour trip into Vermont, Maine and back
@@kennyrichard2971 Maybe valve guide oil seals getting tired?
Yeah, That gorgeous bike of Justin's is one of a kind...I always liked Bandits.

When you hear that whistle.
You know something is about to happen.
More Power ken. Love it cheers
Kinda funny how I just never liked wearing a gold chain, just not me but a gold chain on a bike is artwork exactly as Ken put it
I'm not an expert, but shouldn't you idle and cool down a turbocharged engine before you shut it off after pushing it like that?

I wouldn't ride that with anything less then full protective gear, eeeks!
A bike on Steriods
This kid is lighting in a bottle.
HOW
But can he handle a child's 50cc two-stroke lol
Wow that thing is scary.
ZUKIFY!
That's a nice machine but your exhaust is charring the shit out of your engine case in the front just an observation
15psi boost
Noise pollution to some and music to others.....I'm in the latter 😊
