That's a funny story. Dad was willing to risk the wrath of mom to have a bike. I can definitely understand the overwhelming draw of this motorcycle. When my adult boys were young, they used to ask me why I didn't get a newer bike. My response was, "Because they don't make cool bike anymore." Needless to say, their appreciation of the KZ has changed. Thanks for checking it out.
No, the bike is not in gear. The KZ has a wet clutch, which means the steel and friction plates are bathed in oil, and the plates ride pretty close to each other when the bike is in neutral. There is a small amount of friction that causes the wheel to spin when up on a stand. This is normal.
Sssweet build , mad max did it for me.
Thanks man. I do love the sound of the KZ. Now I need to fine-tune the carb jetting in the spring.
sounds absolutely divine in both configs
I agree. The KZ has a great exhaust sound. Thanks for checking it out.
Sehr schönes Motorrad. Und super Sound. 😎👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for checking out my motorcycle.
The sound of my youth!
Mine too. That sound still gives me goosebumps.
The Kaw Thou! Dad had one, kept it at work so Mom wouldn't know. He never had to ask us to keep it a secret, we knew enough not to say anything...

Beautiful bikes
Thanks man
Nothing like the sound of a big block Kawasaki! You must be a gasman with the 811 sweatshirt and FR wranglers 👍
This bike still gives me goosebumps. Electric and gas utility, and I'm on the electric side. Very observant. Thanks for checking out my bike.
Sounds nice.
Thanks, I agree with you.
I think I grew some hair
I'm glad I was able to help. This bike seems to be rattling all my hair loose unfortunately. Thanks for checking it out.

No bike sounds as good as these old kaws
Man, I'm with you on that. I still get excited when I see the occasional KZ out on the road. Thanks for checking mine out.
@KZRevival same here, And always on the videos
Why does wheel turn. Did you start it in gear with clutch in and let her out? Or is that a centrifugal clutch or why does wheel spin?

hey dude wanna ride next season? ive got a 1980 kz750
Sure, I'm always up for a ride.
Pity the sound won't do it justice.
You are right about that. It's a little intimidating in person, and that's why I love it.
