- The 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback is an iconic American muscle car and possibly one of the coolest cars ever made! Check out my review to see why I think so.
I borrowed this car from Club9 in Cape Town. They are a classic and-sports car dealership and stock a wide range of cars. They also offer various car services and have their own in-house restaurant called Dapper. You can find their details below.

Mustang! Great video. 👌
Simon Thanks dude!
The body guy who worked on this before paint wants sacking, look at the fit on that trunk, it's one of the worst fits ive seen
Panel fit and gaps were awful when they were new. I have a 65 Mustang fb restomod like this and have to laugh when I look at the body panel fit, even after it was restored, lol This isn't suppose to be a Lexus, it's a working man's hero car and I FREAKIN LOVE MINE. Just my 2 cent's
Totally agree Mark my 66 Fastback is the same with poor panel gaps as you say they were built to a price and to be affordable to the ordinary guy never intended as a luxury car . As they do not have a chassis once panels are removed for restoration a lot of movement in the frame will take place .
those rims need to go
Super cool car, unfortunately not original any more.
But congratulations for the setting of the presentation of this beauty. Cape Town and classic Mustang, what a harmony.
Mustang Lover.... 😍😍😍...
All the time and money spent fixing this car up.... and what do they do, they put the inside door handles on backwards😒
We have to do that so our knee doesn't lay on it. Stock position was ok for short people, maybe
I would love to drive this car 😍😍 , especially in Cape Town! Perfect to drive it there!
I love your review!!! Definitely gonna visit club 9 when I'm in Cape Town :D
Again another info correction you said it’s a 5 liter motor??? Actually it’s a 4.7 liter motor (289 cubic inch) motor
I believe he said it was a 302, which would make it a 5.0, unless you saw it blatantly shown in the engine bay and I missed it, it’s very hard to tell the difference between the two. I have a 289 and they look very similar
Great video man! I must say if a individual didn't know anything about cars, it can give the impression that its almost factory kept from the 60's 😍
Thanks Donald! Yes, it looks really well looked after in person
