Bobby is 38 years old which means he’s the very last part of his career physically. Also Bobby nearly died in his fight which gave him a concussion and will shorten his career. Paddy is in the prime years and is looking huge, also fighting in home town advantage and has experience at these big shows. Come on now use your brain
I mean, Pimblett has 5 fights. Green was 4 fights undefeated in the UFC until he met Edson Barboza. I'm not saying that Green is the Barboza of the modern day, but he's certainly a test for a relatively fresh prospect like Paddy, much like Barboza was for him. As far as skill for skill goes, I don't think that Paddy is a threat on the feet for Green. He doesn't posses the footwork (Fiziev), range (Turner), or power (Porier) that has threatened Green in the past. I think Paddy can win on grappling, though. Haven't seen a lot of people take him to the ground, but Green always seems irritated with even the mention of grapplers, so I'm guessing that it's probably one of the lesser developed skills in his arsenal. I'm assuming Paddy has a pretty good ground game since he's pretty good at submissions, but I think the experience favors Green to defend against those, so Paddy would have to rely on controlling and pinning him down instead. Imma say Green by TKO but if Paddy gets it, then Paddy by decision
A problem when you've been following mma for a long time and start analyzing their records on paper, is that you start judging said results mainly by 'names' and at that point your not following MMA your just following fashion... Ultimately without even realizing it you start letting the comment Karens who parrot stuff like this guy's finished, that guy's a bum, she sucks cloud your judgment and affect your analytical mind. I personally worry about Bobby’s chin durability more than his submission defense in this fight considering the Dober and Turner losses at his age. I don’t think Paddy’s takedown attempts are clean enough to get Bobby down.
i agree. i think paddy is a safe bet tbh. they/ppl in-the-know probably think he can pull it off. that being said bobby is a good test. i was impressed with bobby in his last outing.

I’m a Paddy fan still, I just don’t think he has the striking or wrestling to deal with the top 15. I’m looking forward to his walkout on fight night more than anything else on the card!
Each version of tony ferguson in his last 6 fights would destroy paddy pimblett every time all the time and the fact that he gassed out and couldn't finish him was embarrassing and tony overtraind for that fight u try profoming at your best when u finish HELL week with David goggins

Aged well. I won so much money betting on paddy
Green has 11 losses in ufc
Paddy has 0
If anything, Green has an experience advantage but that is it in my opinion
Definitely a huge experience advantage at the highest level and against a lot of notable names.

I disagree mate I understand bobby's boxing is excellent but I think paddy will submit him in 2nd time will tell. Age has to come into it also

Paddy may knock him out in the first round . If he can get up after taking those blows we may get round 2
I would be very surprised if Paddy can KO Green if Faziev couldn’t pull it off
“ he’s not gonna get subbed in a minute “ 😂

Bobby should make Paddy's face look like a smashed tomato
