I think Jiri has a better chance of winning this fight than most people think. In his first encounter with Alex, after he got dropped by a leg kick early in round 1 he completely switched up his strategy. He started shooting for takedowns and being careful with his positioning. In round 2, there were 3 separate moments where he had Alex against the cage and was throwing bombs at him. Unfortunately, he got a little too reckless and got TKO'd in the end, but he showed remarkable adaptability in that fight. The way I see it, his biggest weakness is going to be his vulnerability to leg kicks (he failed to check Rakic's leg kicks). In addition to that, he showed very poor defense against Rakic and took way too many hits before finishing it. He may have been able to get away with a poor defense against Rakic, but he won't be against Alex.

i dont think the leg kicks will matter that much... this fight isn't going past two rounds, he needs to worry more about the left hook, i think Jiri will fight the same way.. this time he just has to put Alex out before Alex puts him out

jiri might be my favorite ufc fighter, which is so weird because idky but the guy seems like he is functioning on a whole different wavelength than most people, and i mean that in a good way.
